Under the gaze of the two, Leticia drew closer, step by step, to Lin Ling, who was still lost in her own world.
However, with every step she took forward, her movements would pause.
Her entire body looked like a malfunctioning precision instrument.
The moment she thought of the plan Danasuo had just shared with her, her movements became increasingly stiff.
Was this really okay?
Although Danasuo had spoken with absolute confidence...
...still...
Leticia looked at Lin Ling, who was still in an out-of-body state in the distance, and a faint blush slowly crept onto her face.
Meanwhile, Danasuo, who had already hopped onto Niya's shoulder, wore a mischievous smirk.
She looked incredibly eager.
What she didn't know was that, far away in the Demon King's Castle, the Demon King's office was already completely empty.
Taking a deep breath, Leticia finally pulled herself together.
“This is just a plan to wake Lin Ling up.”
Leticia whispered softly, as if trying to cheer herself on.
When she looked at Lin Ling in front of her again, her movements finally became a bit more fluid.
From a distance, Niya only saw Leticia walk straight up to Lin Ling.
Then, Leticia reached out with both hands and cupped Lin Ling's face.
“Eek! This—what, huh?!”
Feeling her face suddenly being cupped, Lin Ling instantly snapped out of her daze.
But the moment she opened her eyes, she saw Leticia's face drawing closer and closer to her own.
And the distance was rapidly shrinking.
Lin Ling: “...”
This... like this?
No, no way, right?!
C-Could Sia be planning to kiss her?!
Whoa, what is going on?!
Lin Ling's brain instantly began to overload.
She instinctively wanted to turn her head to call for help.
But she only saw Niya already hiding to the side, covering her face with both hands.
But Niya...
Can you close that gap between your fingers?! Are you actually even covering your face?!
Looking at Leticia, who was already right in front of her, Lin Ling bit her lower lip.
Since she couldn't resist...
...then, in that case...
...Miss Saintess has no choice but to accept her fate!
Come on, Sia.
Miss Saintess's first kiss is all yours!
With that solemn thought, Lin Ling closed her eyes with an air of tragic resolve.
The next moment,
Lin Ling felt a soft touch on her lips.
Lin Ling's body instantly froze.
But immediately after, something as nimble as a little snake began to gently probe and explore.
The little person inside Lin Ling's head instantly exploded into fireworks.
W-Wait a minute.
Is Sia actually self-taught in this kind of thing?!
Lin Ling's head was spinning completely.
She was completely unable to think.
B-But they were already kissing.
In that case, Miss Saintess couldn't possibly run away at a time like this!
It's just a tongue, she wouldn't lose anything either way—she'd go for it!
And so, amidst the chaos and nervousness, Lin Ling awkwardly reciprocated.
But right at that moment...
...the real Leticia had already been teleported by a certain someone who had left the Demon King's Castle, landing right next to the shocked and frozen Niya.
“Miss Niya?”
“Miss Niya?”
Seeing that Niya had also fallen into a state similar to Lin Ling's earlier, Leticia's expression gradually grew serious.
She turned her head to look not far away.
Lin Ling had indeed stopped shaking.
Did that mean this method was actually effective?
Leticia pondered for a moment.
Then, she reached out her hands again, earnestly cupping Niya's face.
“N-No, you can't!”
“Miss Sia!”
At this, Danasuo hastily lunged forward, using her tiny hands to cover Leticia's mouth as she leaned in toward Niya. She had finally realized that things seemed to be taking a very strange turn.
“T-This was just a joke!”
“Don't try it!”
“You can't just do that to anyone!”
Leticia blinked.
“But Lin Ling did wake up.”
“Th-That's because—”
Danasuo cut herself off mid-sentence, suddenly freezing up as well.
Because only now did she realize an incredibly serious problem.
If Leticia was right here...
...then who was that person currently kissing Lin Ling over there?
Not far away...
...Lin Ling, who was still being kissed, also heard Danasuo calling out Leticia's name.
Lin Ling: “Eh?”
If Sia was over there...
...then the person currently kissing her...
...w-who was it?!
Lin Ling snapped her eyes open.
And then, she saw a pair of violet eyes.
Ivelia was looking down at her.
In those violet eyes, there was a hint of a smile.
Along with a subtle, indefinable sense of danger.
Seeing Lin Ling's blue eyes meeting her own, Ivelia actually closed her eyes gently instead.
And then, she deepened the kiss.
Lin Ling: “?!”
Th-This wasn't right!
Lin Ling's face instantly flushed all the way to her ears.
In a panic, she raised her hands and pushed Ivelia away.
“W-Why is the Demon King here?!”
“A-And!”
“What is... what is this?!”
Lin Ling was so nervous that she was tongue-tied, and a plume of steam even began to rise from her head, looking just like the kitchen smoke rising from the residential district in the distance.
“I... I thought it was Sia.”
The moment she said those words, Lin Ling herself froze.
Oh no.
That sounded even worse.
Ivelia looked at her.
She didn't answer why she had appeared here.
Nor did she explain why she had been standing in front of Lin Ling just now.
She simply lowered her head slightly, her violet eyes carrying a trace of sorrow as she looked into Lin Ling's eyes.
“Am I not good enough?”
Lin Ling: “...”
Her entire body stiffened.
“Eh?”
Ivelia's voice was very soft.
Yet those violet eyes looked straight at her.
“Am I really not good enough?”
She repeated it once more.
Lin Ling's brain entered a critical state once again.
“Uh, well...”
“I-It's not that you're not good enough...”
She seemed to want to say more.
But Ivelia's question just now carried too much overwhelming pressure.
So in the end, Lin Ling answered the question first.
Only, her voice grew softer and softer.
By the end, it was almost completely inaudible.
But even so...
...Ivelia still heard it.
The moment she heard Lin Ling say "it's not that you're not good enough" with her own lips, a trace of delight seemed to flicker in Ivelia's eyes.
In the next second, Lin Ling felt her lips being pressed against by something soft once again.
“Mmph! Mm-mph!”
Lin Ling was instantly at a complete loss.
This kiss was much more intense than the previous one.
If the previous one felt like an affectionate kiss between lovers...
...then now, it felt as though Ivelia was staking a claim to something.
With one hand wrapped around Lin Ling's waist, she gently pressed the back of Lin Ling's head with her other hand.
She held Lin Ling firmly in her embrace.
Lin Ling's mind completely turned to mush.
Meanwhile, in the brief gaps between the kisses, Ivelia's gaze quietly drifted toward Leticia, who was currently listening to Danasuo's apology not far away.
That gaze was calm.
Yet it was as if she were asserting her sovereignty.
Through this kiss, she was letting Leticia know...
...that Lin Ling's first kiss belonged to her, Ivelia.
