Chapter 49 | After Physical Therapy, All the Monsters Turned into Goddesses

"A women's army?"

Elizabeth looked at the fanatical expression on Victor's face—one that screamed "mad scientist"—and a strange glint flickered in her crimson eyes.

"Director, if I may speak plainly."

"While transforming those foul men into women sounds entertaining, are you sure... this falls under the category of 'medical treatment'?"

"Of course it does!"

Victor replied righteously, without a hint of guilt.

"You see, those knights have severely twisted psyches due to long-term combat and misguided beliefs; they are full of violence and prejudice. This is a serious 'mental illness'!"

"And according to the latest 'Psychiatric Research Report,' estrogen helps calm emotions and reduce aggression."

He pushed up his non-existent glasses, talking sheer nonsense with a straight face:

"Therefore, transforming them physiologically into females is entirely out of humanitarian concern. It's to better provide 'psychological counseling' and 'behavioral correction.'"

"Simply put, I am using love to reform them."

Elizabeth: "..."

She decided never to discuss "medical ethics" with this man ever again.

It was simply impossible to get through to him.

"Alright, enough small talk."

Victor didn't give her much of a chance to complain and directly opened the template editor in the 【Biological Modification】 interface.

"Time is tight. We need to finalize the ultimate plan for the first batch of 'battle sisters' as soon as possible."

The light screen expanded, and a detailed 3D human model floated in mid-air.

Victor began adjusting various parameters of the model as if he were playing a character creation game.

"First, the basic form."

Victor rubbed his chin, falling into deep thought.

"Since they are 'sisters,' the image must be holy and dignified, yet not lose the aesthetic of combat."

"Height... let's set it at around 175cm. Standard model height; uniforms look best that way."

"Measurements... we'll set those according to the golden ratio. They must be ergonomic and aerodynamic to reduce wind resistance during combat."

As Victor spoke, he skillfully dragged the data bars.

Soon, a perfect female model with the face of an angel and the body of a devil appeared before them.

Elizabeth looked at the model, then down at herself. An imperceptible flicker of... jealousy flashed in her red eyes.

"Ahem."

Victor cleared his throat, hiding the drool at the corner of his mouth.

"Appearance is secondary; the key is what's inside."

He clicked on the Gene Bank.

Inside, various biological gene fragments he had collected during this time were densely arranged.

【Twin-Headed Demon Wolf's Strength Gene】

【Blood Queen's Blood Control Gene】

【Bone Sovereign's Soul Resilience Gene】

...

"These are too high-grade. It's a waste to use them on mass-production units."

Victor shook his head and flipped directly to the bottom of the Gene Bank.

There were genes from low-level monsters he had dissected in passing.

"Found it."

His gaze locked onto an inconspicuous gene fragment.

【Harpy's Flight Gene】

【Effect: Allows the modified body to grow a pair of lightweight wings, granting basic gliding and short-distance flight capabilities.】

"Mobility is key."

Victor dragged this gene into the template without hesitation.

On the light screen, a pair of pure white, angel-like wings "poof"-ed out from the back of the sister model.

"Not bad, not bad. The sense of holiness went up instantly."

Victor nodded in satisfaction.

"Next, the weapon system."

He didn't choose cold weapons like swords; instead, he pulled up the blueprints for those knight repeating crossbows they had captured.

"Hack-and-slash with cold weapons is too inefficient."

"Since they are long-range support units, fire coverage is the way to go."

He gestured for the skeleton security captain standing nearby to bring over several crates of black gunpowder they had "borrowed" from the goblins earlier.

With Zoe's help, Victor performed a magic modification on the traditional repeating crossbow.

He replaced the crossbow arms with more elastic enchanted materials and the string with tough spider silk.

Most importantly, he added a small alchemical power device to the body, achieving "automatic cocking" and "rapid-fire" functions.

An "automatic crossbow gun" was born.

"Rate of fire: three hundred rounds per minute. Effective range: five hundred meters. Equipped with two types of ammunition: armor-piercing bolts and explosive bolts."

Victor stroked this weapon of violence aesthetics, his eyes obsessed.

"Zoe, you really are a genius."

"Hehe, it's all thanks to the Director's guidance."

Beside him, the alchemist girl wearing thick, bottle-bottom glasses scratched her head bashfully.

"Alright, template setting complete."

Victor saved the final design plan.

【Modification Template: Battle Sister (Angel Descent Edition)】

Form: Height 175cm, white hair, red eyes, wings on the back.

Equipment: Black tight-fitting sister's habit (with basic defensive arrays), MK-1 Automatic Crossbow.

Abilities: Short-distance flight, fire suppression, basic combat skills.

Core Directive: Absolute loyalty, no fear of death, and... praise the Director.

"Next comes the exciting 'production' phase."

Victor rubbed his hands and turned his gaze toward the basement.

"Elizabeth, go to the 'Inpatient Department,' and pick out a few 'volunteers' who are most heavily injured but still have relatively resilient willpower."

"Remember to tell them clearly: this is 'free' 'rehabilitation therapy.'"

"Understood, Director."

Elizabeth took the order and left, the corner of her mouth curling into a cruel arc.

She couldn't wait to see the expressions on those high-and-mighty knight lords when they found out they were about to become "women."

Soon.

Five Black Iron knights with broken limbs and on the verge of death were dragged out of the dungeon by the skeleton security brigade like dead dogs. They were thrown into five giant glass culture tanks.

"No... don't..."

"You... you devil... what do you want to do to us?"

The knights roared in despair as they looked at the mechanical arms flickering with electric arcs and the bubbling green nutrient solution around them.

Victor ignored their cursing.

He simply walked to the console, put on his goggles, and a fanatical expression appeared on his face—the kind a surgeon has before starting a high-difficulty operation.

"Don't be afraid."

He pressed the start button.

"I am... purifying your souls."

Boom—

As the button was pressed, the hatches of the five culture tanks closed simultaneously.

Pale green nutrient solution, brimming with life energy, quickly filled the tanks.

Over a dozen flexible mechanical arms extended from all directions, pinning down the struggling knights.

Sharp scalpels precisely sliced open their skin.

Cold syringes injected tubes of various colored gene serums into their veins.

"Aaaargh—!!!"

Shrill screams echoed from the culture tanks, but they were soon blocked by the thick glass and nutrient solution, turning into muffled gurgles.

It was an "evolution" full of blood and desecration.

Stripping, restructuring, shaping...

Under the cold and efficient production line operation of the system, male characteristics were ruthlessly erased. In their place, more perfect and more lethal feminine curves emerged.

Tough wings burst from beneath their shoulder blades and unfurled.

Faces that were once distorted by fear gradually became holy and beautiful under the influence of the gene serums.

And their brains, once full of "honor" and "loyalty" (to their families), were repeatedly washed and formatted by a powerful surge of mental energy. Finally...

A brand new, and unique, conviction was etched into them—

【Give everything for the Director!】

The entire process lasted a full hour.

When the nutrient solution in the culture tanks was drained and the hatches opened again...

The ones who stepped out were no longer those five iron-willed men.

Instead, they were five tall, exquisitely featured battle angels with snow-white hair, blood-red eyes, and pure white wings unfurled behind them.

They wore black tight-fitting sister's habits and held menacing-looking automatic crossbows. Their gazes were cold and devout.

They walked up to Victor and knelt on one knee in unison, right hand over their hearts, performing a standard knight's salute.

"Praise you, great Director."

Their voices were crisp and pleasant, yet possessed a metallic quality, devoid of any personal emotion.

"Your will is the meaning of our existence."

Victor looked at the freshly baked "women's army" before him and nodded in satisfaction.

Looks, figure, combat power...

Perfect.

"Very good."

Victor walked a few steps in front of them with his hands behind his back, like a general reviewing his troops.

"From this day forward, you are no longer filthy knights."

"You are newborns bathed in the light of medicine, apostles spreading the 'Gospel of Healing.'"

"Your unit designation shall be—"

Victor rubbed his chin, pondered for a moment, and then snapped his fingers.

"Field Medical Corps (Physical)."

He looked at these five battle sisters who were perfectly synchronized and ready to die for him at any moment, then at the dozens of "raw materials" still shivering in the dungeon.
