Chapter 103 | I Accidentally Became the Training Target

(T/N: This chapter may contain explicit scenes; reader discretion advised)

It wasn't until the first light of dawn that Ning Xian finally... couldn't hold out any longer... and drifted off to sleep.

In her dream, her junior brother’s face was pale, and there were dark circles under his eyes.

He lay weakly on the couch, his breath as thin as a thread.

Meanwhile, she sat by the bedside, holding his hand with a face full of satisfaction and guilt.

"Junior Brother.... I'm sorry, Senior Sister again......"

Fang Xuan, lying on the couch, shook his head weakly and forced a smile. "It's okay, Senior Sister. I... I can still hold on......"

Then the scene shifted, and she was holding a bowl of dark, bubbling medicine, coaxing him gently, "Junior Brother, come, drink this bowl of ten-essence restorative soup......"

In the dream, Fang Xuan looked at the bowl of medicine, his face filled with sheer terror.

...

Ning Xian woke up in a daze and sat up in bed.

The dark circles under her eyes were becoming more prominent, and her head felt a bit dizzy. Yesterday... it really had been too late.

Looking out the window, it was already midday.

She recalled her dream again, especially the sight of her junior brother looking so depleted and weak.

It must be because she had been... too lacking in restraint lately.

A surge of self-reproach flooded her heart.

Life had indeed been going too well.

Since she started dual cultivation with her junior brother, her cultivation had improved significantly.

However...

All of this was built on the foundation of... straining her junior brother.

Her junior brother had a special constitution with pure and thick spiritual energy, which was a great supplement for her.

But no matter how good his constitution was, it couldn't withstand her daily and nightly... excessive demands.

The more Ning Xian thought about it, the more she felt it was true. Guilt overwhelmed her like a rising tide.

She really was a bad senior sister!

She only cared about her own cultivation and craved the pleasure, yet she had pushed her junior brother’s body to the limit...

She felt deeply annoyed with herself.

She had to compensate her junior brother properly; things couldn't go on like this!

.......

Fang Xuan was in the courtyard, feeling refreshed and comfortable all over.

His realm was even more solid and stable than when he had first broken through yesterday, and he could already feel himself touching the threshold of the middle-stage Nascent Soul Realm.

"Refreshing."

He had never felt that life could be so wonderful.

This feeling of being able to rapidly increase his cultivation just by lying in bed... er, was truly amazing.

......

Ning Xian walked out of the house.

"Morning, Senior Sister," Fang Xuan greeted her.

Ning Xian looked up at him...

Her junior brother looked... normal, not at all weak like in her dream.

But... this must be because he was forcing himself to stay strong.

She absorbed so much yang qi every day, and her own realm was rising steadily. How could her junior brother possibly be fine?

At the thought of this, her heart felt even more guilty.

.......

She tried to meet Fang Xuan’s gaze, forcing a gentle smile that couldn't quite hide her fatigue.

"Mhm, morning."

Her junior brother was so kind...

Ning Xian looked at Fang Xuan’s smiling face, her heart softening.

It seemed she hadn't cooked for him in a long time. She really was an inadequate senior sister.

Her junior brother loved braised ribs and soup, and he didn't like anything too fatty...

Recalling his preferences, she prepared to check the kitchen.

If there weren't any ingredients, she would go to the street to buy some.

She turned toward the small kitchen.

As she took her first step, a sudden soreness at the base of her thighs made her body sway, and she almost lost her footing.

Fang Xuan was quick to react, stepping forward to catch her.

"Senior Sister, are your legs uncomfortable?"

Ning Xian’s face instantly flushed red.

Wasn't it all because of... last night...

"No... it's nothing, they're just a bit numb," Ning Xian lowered her head, her voice as quiet as a mosquito.

Fang Xuan looked at her red-tipped ears and her slightly trembling legs, and that... little hobby of his cropped up again.

"Ahem..." He cleared his throat.

"Senior Sister, how about I massage your legs for you? It’ll help the blood circulation, and you’ll feel better."

He had been interested in—no, concerned about—his senior sister’s legs for a long time.

Ning Xian looked up at him and saw that his gaze was clear and full of concern.

Her junior brother was so thoughtful.

"Mhm... okay," she nodded gently, her voice even softer.

.......

They returned to the room.

Ning Xian sat on the edge of the bed.

Today, she was wearing a simple and elegant moon-white long skirt.

Fang Xuan reached out, his movements gentle as he slightly lifted the hem of her skirt, revealing a section of fair, smooth calf.

When his fingers touched her skin, Ning Xian’s body trembled slightly.

Fang Xuan took a deep breath, telling himself to stay calm and professional.

He gripped Ning Xian’s calf with both hands and began to... knead—well, he actually began to play with them.

The texture... was perfect.

Her skin was as delicate as porcelain and as warm as jade.

Everywhere his fingertips touched was a heart-shivering sensation.

He tried to maintain the posture of a massage.

He started from the calf, applying moderate pressure while kneading.

In truth, he didn't know the first thing about professional massage techniques. He was entirely relying on his intuition and... his inner desires to guide his hands.

But Ning Xian’s body was far too sensitive.

Especially after their recent... encounters, she had become exceptionally easy to stir.

Fang Xuan’s palms were warm. At first, it was indeed comfortable, but the kneading soon began to change in nature.

"Mhm..."

Ning Xian couldn't help but let out a very soft sound, quickly biting her lower lip.

Fang Xuan’s hand moved slowly up from her calf.

Passing the back of her knee, he reached her thigh.

This area was softer, and the touch of her skin was even more intoxicating.

He couldn't help but apply a bit more pressure, squeezing the supple flesh.

"Ah~"

Ning Xian let out a soft gasp, her body trembling. Her leg instinctively tried to pull back, but Fang Xuan held it firmly.

"Ju... Junior Brother......"

Her voice took on a trace of a sob, and the corners of her eyes turned a damp red.

Fang Xuan acted as if he hadn't heard, though he was being mischievous on purpose.

His fingers began to linger on that patch of skin.

Especially the area near her inner thigh...

"Don't... don't press there......" Ning Xian’s voice was now pleading. Her whole body was shaking slightly, and her hands tightly gripped the bedsheets beneath her until her knuckles turned white.

That place... was too sensitive.

Just being near it made her heart race and her waist go weak.

Fang Xuan’s fingers deliberately loitered around the edge of that sensitive area, occasionally "accidentally" brushing against the very inner part of her leg...

"Mhm~"

Ning Xian could no longer hold it in, leaning back limply. She had to rely on her arms for support just to keep from falling over.

Tears were already welling in her eyes.

"Don't... don't massage anymore, okay......"

"Senior Sister, are you pleading with me?"

He loved seeing his senior sister like this—completely helpless under his ministrations, both ashamed and annoyed, yet with her body giving honest reactions.
