After Cheng Shuili finished her breakfast, the two people who hadn't spoken finally woke up.
【New Snow Clearing】: Just checked my trap, nothing in there. Does this weather mean there won't be any prey?
Cheng Shuili was just about to confirm her suspicion when she saw Liang Shanbo post three exclamation marks in great excitement.
【Liang Shanbo vs. Pig】: !!!
Did this lucky person... score again?
【Liang Shanbo vs. Pig】: Caught two rabbits! White, fluffy! So cute! (Image) (Image)...
This person posted over a dozen photos without stopping. They showed off the beauty of those two rabbits from every angle, without any blind spots!
Cheng Shuili could tell from the photos that one was male and one was female.
The few people in the group chat were no longer calm.
【Wan Yi】: @Angry Crow Takes Flight, when you said she was a lucky person yesterday, I thought you were exaggerating, but this is way too accurate, right?
【New Snow Clearing】: ...
【New Snow Clearing】: As expected of the lucky person certified by the boss. @Liang Shanbo vs. Pig, let me rub off on your luck!
Wan Yi couldn't help it either and followed suit, as if making a wish.
【Wan Yi】: @Liang Shanbo vs. Pig, let me rub off on it too. I hope I can open up some green onions, ginger, and garlic today!
Cheng Shuili remained silent for a moment before following along to post about rubbing off on their good luck.
【Liang Shanbo vs. Pig】: How do I handle these rabbits?
【Liang Shanbo vs. Pig】: @Wan Yi, can you process them, sister? I'll treat everyone to spicy rabbit heads!
【New Snow Clearing】: Bunnies are so cute~! How can you eat bunnies?
【New Snow Clearing】: @Wan Yi, sister, you must say you can process them!
【Wan Yi】: Young people change their faces so fast.
Cheng Shuili's eyes curved into smiles as she read their messages. Thinking about how the two rabbits were male and female, and that the simple hunting trap was a snare device that hadn't injured them much, if only they could be raised...
Cheng Shuili had heard legends of these infinitely breeding mythical creatures; it was said that someone met a rabbit seller on the road, bought a pair on a whim, and after a while, they were following along to set up stalls and sell rabbits themselves.
If that were really the case, wouldn't they have a steady, inexhaustible supply of emergency food?
Cheng Shuili always kept her compressed biscuits and bottled water as her final red line; if she ever reached the point of losing everything, at least she wouldn't starve to death by the side of the road.
If she could add a dish of spicy rabbit heads to that red line.
Tsk.
Who could resist that kind of temptation?
【Angry Crow Takes Flight】: Are rabbits easy to raise?
【New Snow Clearing】: I only know that rabbits shouldn't drink water.
【Wan Yi】: Raise them? I'm afraid that might be a bit difficult.
【Liang Shanbo vs. Pig】: Ah? They can't drink water? Then what do they do when they're thirsty?
Wan Yi replied quickly. She sent a voice message, which sounded a bit helpless.
【Wan Yi】: It's not that they can't drink at all, it's that young rabbits easily get diarrhea, so you have to be careful when feeding them water. Rabbits can just eat fresh grass or vegetables, but we're on the highway right now; where are we going to find that much grass?
That point was indeed valid.
Cheng Shuili hadn't seen anything like fodder in the supply crates either.
As for fresh vegetables...
She could buy them at the Trading Post.
It's just that there isn't enough for people to eat yet, so where would she find the extra money to provide for these two rabbits?
【New Snow Clearing】: Can't raise them, what a pity.
【Angry Crow Takes Flight】: @Wan Yi, I'm really looking forward to your spicy rabbit heads.
【Wan Yi】: We're just going with spicy rabbit heads? I could also make cold-dressed rabbit, braised rabbit meat, or Cantonese-style claypot rabbit. I'm actually a bit torn.
【New Snow Clearing】: I haven't even heard of those last few! Sister, you absolutely must make them for me to try!
【Liang Shanbo vs. Pig】: Sister, you absolutely must make them for me to try!
Cheng Shuili complained about these two jokers, but her hands were very honest as she clicked copy.
【Angry Crow Takes Flight】: Sister, you absolutely must make them for me to try!
【Wan Yi】: ...
【Wan Yi】: Boss Crow, be normal for once.
Cheng Shuili smiled and closed the chat channel.
These two rabbits did prove that the trap could indeed catch prey.
It was just a question of what the probability was.
Speaking of probability events, Cheng Shuili remembered the advanced supply packs she had neglected for a long time.
When she first rolled the full set of seasonings, she had given one to Wan Yi, and after that, she hadn't checked what the remaining two supply packs had rolled.
On a sudden whim, she dug those two advanced supply packs out from under the pile of supplies.
Perhaps the 'rubbing off on luck' message she posted on a whim really worked.
The items refreshed today were a random vehicle card and a random meal.
Cheng Shuili's eyes widened slightly, and she made a prompt decision to choose the vehicle card.
"You used Advanced Supply Pack x2, obtaining Vehicle Repair Card x1, Design Style Decoration Card x1!"
The supply packs disappeared in front of Cheng Shuili, replaced by one unfamiliar card and one familiar one.
Cheng Shuili put away the vehicle repair card and checked the detailed description of the other card.
【Design Style Decoration Card】
【Description: Want to give your vehicle a thorough, top-to-bottom makeover? Want to change the look of your vehicle without doing the work yourself? Design Style Decoration Card! Use it once, and it stays with you for life! Whether it's upgrading, damaged, or totaled, it will always be with you! (Until you use a decoration card again or choose to cancel the decoration)】
It's actually quite user-friendly.
Cheng Shuili looked at the interior of the cart. The decoration style of her shopping cart could be described in two words: "minimalist."
To be honest, that meant it had no decoration at all.
Cheng Shuili didn't hesitate; this thing wouldn't be of much use if she just kept it, so she squeezed the card and chose to use it.
【Please specify the decoration style!】
Cheng Shuili thought it would be a multiple-choice question, but it turned out to be a fill-in-the-blank one.
She stared at the prompt box for the 【Design Style Decoration Card】 in silence for a moment, her eyes narrowed slightly, and her fingers tapped unconsciously on the sheet metal of the shopping cart.
Countless possibilities flashed through her mind.
Nordic minimalist? Too cold!
American retro? Not practical.
Japanese tatami? Not enough space...
What she needed wasn't something flashy and impractical, but something that could genuinely help her survive in this apocalypse!
Cheng Shuili's eyes suddenly brightened. She took a deep breath and began to speak at length.
"I want a multi-functional survivalist style! The left side of the carriage should be made into a foldable kitchen counter; the surface must be fireproof, with a portable stove embedded underneath."
There must be a place to cook. If something happens to Wan Yi, she could leave herself a backup plan.
"Install a 1.8-meter large bed on the right side, equipped with the best imported mattress. I don't need to change the four-piece bedding set I have now. Add solar panels to the roof and lay out the entire vehicle's electrical circuit powered by the solar panels! Don't change the current circuit; I require a dual-energy system! Bury the wires well, but don't bury them too well; they need to be easy to repair when they get damaged."
The sun isn't always out, so keeping a backup is always a good thing!
"All my current furniture must be kept in suitable positions. Give me a tool net pocket on the inside of the rear carriage door! Finally, the overall color tone should be black, white, and gray, and all corners must be covered with anti-collision edging!"
Safety is the top priority!
