Chapter 164 | I, Liu Xian, Am Not a Divine Dragon

Su Qing heard the monkeys' exclamations.

For a moment, the corner of her mouth twitched slightly...

The title 'Senior King' was somewhat subtle.

If she carefully calculated the years, she wasn't even as old as the Earth God! So how could she be considered 'senior'?

As for the even stranger title 'Willow Immortal'...

She also didn't really want to bring it up.

She didn't know why, but she always ended up with some unpleasant titles.

Although 'Azure Spirit Sovereign' was her own doing, the others were all randomly made up by others.

Su Qing sighed softly to herself, thinking, "I need to tell them to change their address..."

The titles 'Willow Immortal' and 'Senior King' were simply too unpleasant.

She would rather be called Azure Spirit Sovereign than these two titles.

As for how to change them, that would be a matter for later.

As she pondered, one of the leading Through-Arm Apes from before came before Su Qing.

It immediately bowed down and said, "Senior King, you've finally returned! We've been waiting for you so anxiously!"

Su Qing heard this, smiled helplessly, and said, "Yes, I'm back. I already know what happened on Flower-Fruit Mountain. You've all had a tough time."

"Senior King, you know about the Great King being captured?" the Through-Arm Ape couldn't help but ask upon hearing this.

Su Qing nodded and said, "Of course I know, otherwise why would I have returned?"

"Senior King, did you return alone because even you couldn't rescue the Great King?" the Through-Arm Ape asked.

"I couldn't rescue him, but he won't die, so you can rest assured. Wukong has a strong fate," Su Qing shook her head and replied casually.

The Through-Arm Ape quickly nodded and said, "It's good that the Great King isn't dead, it's good!"

Su Qing shook her head and said indifferently, "Alright, this matter is settled for now. Call over all the monkeys you brought! I have some things to arrange."

The Through-Arm Ape heard this, nodded like pounding garlic, and said, "I'll go now, I'll go now."

The apes worked quickly, and in a short while, all the monkeys were brought before Su Qing, while the leading ones came to her front.

The several Through-Arm Apes seemed to have been Wukong's generals earlier, having learned human etiquette quite well.

Upon seeing Su Qing, they all performed the ritual of bowing to a monarch.

These monkeys' thoughts were simple: now that the Handsome Monkey King was absent from Flower-Fruit Mountain and the Senior King was here, then the Senior King was the leader of Flower-Fruit Mountain...

So, naturally, this etiquette should be performed.

Su Qing was slightly surprised to see this proper etiquette; these monkeys had unconsciously learned a few things.

However, now was certainly not the time to discuss this with the monkeys.

She lightly coughed twice, then first painted a rosy picture for these monkeys, thoroughly coaxing them.

Once she felt she had coaxed them enough, Su Qing also took the opportunity to arrange some matters.

"Now that I'm back, you don't need to hide anymore; you can return to your original dwellings."

"Additionally, please inform the other monkey troops of my return as soon as possible. If they are willing to return to their former lives, welcome them; if not, do not force them."

Su Qing entrusted these matters to the monkeys, not only because she wanted to be lazy, but also because this was one of the best choices.

After all, there were many monkey troops on Flower-Fruit Mountain, and she couldn't possibly go and coax every single one...

Even if the monkeys weren't annoyed, she herself would be.

So it was better to leave it to these monkeys.

They were, after all, of the same kind.

Among their own kind, it would naturally be easier to build trust.

Furthermore, with helpers, she could have more time to prepare for future matters.

Since she had decided to do it, she certainly had to try her best to do it well.

The monkeys naturally had no objections to the matters Su Qing arranged.

For them, it even felt like an honor.

Upon receiving the task, the monkey troops immediately sprang into action.

Some delved deep into the jungle to search for other monkey troops, while others coaxed the later arriving monkey troops.

Although it was very noisy, it was somewhat orderly.

After entrusting the tasks, Su Qing temporarily let the monkey troops do their thing.

As for her, she took Leng Xiang and the others back to her courtyard on Flower-Fruit Mountain.

This courtyard hadn't been returned to for a long time, but after decades of weathering storms, it hadn't become very dilapidated.

It merely had some dust and a lot of weeds.

It seemed that during her absence, someone occasionally came to help tidy it up.

Leng Xiang looked at the courtyard, thought for a moment, and asked:

"Master, should we tidy it up? Master, you'll probably be staying here for a while, won't you?"

Leng Xiang understood Su Qing quite well; she could even guess what Su Qing's plans were next.

Hearing this, Su Qing nodded slightly and said:

"Let's clean it up a bit. Although I'll only be staying here for a month or two at most, I can't live in a courtyard full of weeds."

A month or two was neither long nor short.

But it was enough for Su Qing to complete some tasks.

For example, thoroughly organizing the monkey troops' affairs.

Leng Xiang smiled gently upon hearing this and said, "I understand... So, restoring it to how it was before should be enough, right?"

"Ah? Mm." Su Qing was stunned for a moment, then nodded.

After all, with Leng Xiang's ability, tidying the courtyard to be similar to how it was when they left was indeed not a difficult task.

"Then I'll trouble you."

"A small matter," Leng Xiang said, then turned to Gongsun Zhixue, "You come help too, so you don't just sit around idly."

Gongsun Zhixue: "????"

Although she was a bit bewildered by being suddenly asked to help, she didn't refuse.

This courtyard, after all, was a place she had lived in for so long.

Gongsun Zhixue and Leng Xiang went to clean the courtyard.

As for Su Qing, she walked into the peach blossom forest.

She was still thinking about some things for later...

Mainly, matters concerning her departure from Flower-Fruit Mountain.

Su Qing unconsciously walked to the lakeside, watching the carefree small fish in the water.

She couldn't help but think, "Why not build a temple on Flower-Fruit Mountain?"

"Since immortals who receive incense power can project their gaze remotely through worshipped statues, if worship by demons can also satisfy this rule... then I can turn my statue on Flower-Fruit Mountain into a remote surveillance system."

"This way, even when I'm not on Flower-Fruit Mountain, I can generally understand the situation there."

"Ensuring no major problems arise."

"However, the only question is whether the offerings from birds, beasts, and demons can be counted as incense power. If they can, this method will work; if not, it will just be wishful thinking."

Although Su Qing had learned many rules about incense power deities through the document integrated into her body, it hadn't explained this specific aspect to her in detail.
