Chapter 32 | I, Liu Xian, Am Not a Divine Dragon

The rain stopped.

The senior brothers and sisters were all waiting outside the gate.

They were all very curious about how Su Qing's transformation had gone.

But the gate remained closed, which made them a little anxious and worried.

"I wonder if Junior Sister's transformation was perfect."

"Rest assured. With Junior Sister's talent, how could her transformation not go well?"

"I agree with that. But she's been in there for so long, it's hard not to worry!"

"Don't you worry. Even if something went wrong with the Transformation Tribulation, there's the Transformation Pill to fall back on. No need to worry too much."

"That's true... I wonder what kind of beauty Junior Sister will be after her transformation?"

As the group waited outside, they couldn't help but chat.

Fortunately, their worries were unnecessary.

Not long after the rain stopped.

The courtyard gate was pushed open.

Two women walked out from within.

One was dressed in Daoist robes with her hair in a Daoist style, possessing a refined and serene temperament.

Everyone recognized who she was.

It was Luo Yingjun.

The other woman, however, had a very unfamiliar face.

She was a woman none of them had ever seen before.

And she was wearing secular clothes.

Everyone's gaze couldn't help but fall upon that woman.

The woman looked to be about twenty years old.

Her ink-black hair cascaded like a waterfall, her face was like a peach blossom, her bosom was full of ambition, and her waist was as slender as a willow.

The woman's features were exquisite. Though not bewitching, she was still a sight one could hardly look away from.

She had the gentle aura of a woman from the southern water towns.

And the red huadian on her brow added a touch of charm.

"Su Yingqing has made everyone worry."

Su Qing felt a little embarrassed being stared at by everyone and couldn't help but take two steps back.

She moved behind Luo Yingjun.

When she was a snake, she was never afraid of being stared at.

Now, after transforming, she felt rather shy.

Luo Yingjun smiled and said:

"Junior Brother Liu, your umbrella. And stop staring, you're making her embarrassed."

Liu Yingtong took the umbrella and said:

"I never expected Junior Sister to be so beautiful after her transformation. I was inadvertently captivated just now. Please don't take offense, Junior Sister."

Su Qing shook her head, indicating that it was nothing.

Although she was embarrassed, she would have to face people with this appearance from now on.

She would have to get used to others' gazes sooner or later.

At this moment, the crowd, having come back to their senses, came forward one by one to congratulate Su Qing on her successful transformation.

They were not stingy with their words of praise.

After listening to a heap of compliments, Su Qing's head began to feel a little swollen.

It seemed everyone was very happy to have a beautiful junior sister.

However, they didn't linger and disturb Su Qing for too long.

Knowing that the tribulation consumed a lot of energy, they all left after offering their congratulations.

But they still left some gifts behind.

Su Qing initially didn't want to accept them. After all, everyone lived in this Daoist monastery; if they gave something to her, they wouldn't be able to buy it again.

But Su Qing couldn't resist their enthusiasm and ended up symbolically accepting them.

She planned to find an opportunity to return them to everyone in the future.

After the senior brothers and sisters left.

Su Qing's ears finally found some peace...

She turned and went back into the courtyard.

Looking at the messy yard...

And the ginkgo tree, which had a few branches snapped off from the impact.

Su Qing felt a slight headache.

Cleaning this up would probably take some time.

"Forget it, I'll rest for a day and clean tomorrow!"

Su Qing returned to the house. With the sparrows' help, she simply tidied up a place to live.

When she was still a snake, she had always slept in the living room.

So although the living room was empty, the bedroom still had quite a few things in it.

It was just covered in a thick layer of dust...

It would take a lot of time to clean it thoroughly.

However, she was really too tired after today's tribulation.

Su Qing couldn't be bothered to clean any more...

Making do for one day wouldn't be impossible.

Seeing Su Qing lie down, the little sparrows landed on her body to sleep as usual.

But because Su Qing found them too heavy, she rolled over and threw them off.

The sparrows were completely unaware, sleeping soundly.

The next day.

Su Qing's fatigue had subsided a lot.

Only upon waking did she remember that she had forgotten to go and report the good news to her master yesterday.

She immediately said to the few little sparrows, "Wait at home, I'm going to see Master."

The sparrows groggily agreed, but soon fell back into a sweet sleep.

Su Qing couldn't be bothered with them.

A bunch of little lazybones, little fat chirpers; she couldn't expect them to clean up on their own.

Leaving the courtyard, Su Qing soon arrived before the Bodhi Gate.

Knocking on the door, Su Qing said, "Master, your disciple, Su Yingqing, requests an audience."

"What is it? Come in."

Patriarch Bodhi was as serene as ever, just like usual.

Only this time, he didn't open the door for Su Qing, but let Su Qing enter on her own.

Su Qing knew that her master must have known about her transformation, but she still had to go and thank him.

"It seems you have successfully transformed."

Seeing Su Qing enter, Patriarch Bodhi sized her up, nodded slightly, and spoke.

Su Qing said, "It is all thanks to Master's blessings."

Patriarch Bodhi shook his head slightly and said, "It is your own ability, it has nothing to do with me."

"But Master nurtured me. If not for Master's nurturing, how could I be where I am today?"

"I am only responsible for teaching. How you learn is your own business." Patriarch Bodhi shook his head again, but then said, "Yingqing, if you only came to say these things, you may go back."

Su Qing heard this.

"Actually, there is one more thing. I did not use this Transformation Pill, so I have come to return it to Master."

"Since I gave it to you, it is yours. You may not need it in the future, but you can give it to someone else," Patriarch Bodhi said.

Su Qing didn't press the issue and nodded slightly.

"Is there anything else?"

"Master, when can I learn Magic Arts?"

"After you pass the remaining two Core Formation tribulations, I will teach you."

Su Qing understood in her heart, nodded, and said, "I understand, Master... Then Yingqing will take her leave."

"Mm, go back! Cultivate well, do not waste these few days."

"Yes, Master."

After leaving the Patriarch's place, Su Qing went to find Senior Sister Luo Yingjun.

To thank her for her help yesterday.

Luo Yingjun, however, felt it was nothing and even slipped Su Qing a few sets of new clothes.

These were her clothes from the secular world, which she no longer wore now that she had entered the Dao.

It was a pity to throw them away, so she planned to give them all to Su Qing.

However, Su Qing's bust was larger than her own. She had only managed to alter two or three sets yesterday, so she could only give Su Qing those for now.

Su Qing was too embarrassed to accept at first, but aside from the clothes on her back, she had nothing else.

So she had to obediently accept them.

"I'm actually really looking forward to seeing how Junior Sister looks in these clothes! Even though I'm not the one wearing them, it would be a beautiful thing to admire."
