Chapter 100 | I've Become The Demon King, For Real?

The endless void.

Lilith hovered in mid-air, surrounded by eternal darkness and silence.

“Damn it, I have to find a way out of here.”

She grit her teeth, dark crimson magic swirling around her body as she attempted to find a single flaw in this nothingness.

“Once I’m out, I can use time reversal and start everything over.”

This was her greatest trump card. By using time reversal, she could return to the moment before she jumped into the Eternal Abyss, allowing her to reformulate her plan and avoid this crushing defeat.

But the prerequisite was that she had to leave this hellhole first.

Lilith closed her eyes, expanding her perception to its limit.

Her magic extended outward like tentacles, exploring every corner of the void.

There were no boundaries, no exits—even the concept of space was blurred and indistinct.

This place was like a forgotten cage, trapping her within.

“Am I going to be stuck here forever?”

She frowned, a surge of irritation rising in her heart.

But at that moment, an anomaly suddenly occurred.

“Vrrr!!!”

An invisible force abruptly descended, grabbing her body like a giant hand.

Lilith didn’t even have time to react before she was forcibly dragged by that power, vanishing from her spot in an instant.

...

Lilith felt herself spinning, falling, and passing through some kind of barrier.

When she opened her eyes again, she found she was no longer in the same void.

This was a different space.

A shattered space.

The sky was a dark crimson, like congealed blood.

“What’s going on?”

Lilith was stunned.

She had clearly been in the void; how did she suddenly end up here?

Moreover, the aura here... was very familiar.

She looked up, gazing ahead.

Then, she saw someone.

A god.

He hovered in mid-air.

But right now, his expression was hideous and distorted.

He was attacking himself.

He smashed his fists into his own chest, tore at his arms with divine power, and scorched his own body with divine fire.

Every attack brought forth a spray of blood and a scream of agony.

“This...”

Lilith’s pupils contracted as a chill ran down her spine.

She had seen this god before.

No, to be precise, she had seen his corpse.

At the deepest part of the Eternal Abyss, that golden skeleton—the corpse of the Primordial God.

“He... is that fallen Primordial God?”

Lilith was beyond shocked.

She watched the Primordial God as he frantically attacked, destroyed, and tore himself apart.

His body was collapsing, his divine blood was flowing, and his divine power was dissipating.

Yet he didn't stop; instead, he grew increasingly frenzied.

“Why...”

Lilith muttered to herself, unable to comprehend it.

The Primordial God, the oldest and most powerful existence in the God Realm—why would he destroy himself?

At that moment, she witnessed an even more shocking sight.

Inside the Primordial God’s body, something was squirming.

It looked like insects, like tentacles, like some kind of indescribable entity.

Those things crawled out of his wounds, wrapping around his body and eroding his godhood.

The Primordial God let out a shrill scream, and then he performed an action that Lilith would never forget for the rest of her life.

He raised his hands, grabbed his own chest, and tore with all his might.

“Rippp!!!”

The sound of tearing flesh rang out.

The Primordial God had torn himself in half.

Crimson divine blood gushed out, pouring toward the earth like a waterfall.

That divine blood did not dissipate; instead, it condensed together, transforming into droplets of blood that floated in the air.

And in the center of the Primordial God’s torn body, a black stone slowly emerged.

It was the Void Godstone.

The moment the divine blood came into contact with the Void Godstone, a blinding light erupted.

Within the radiance, the prototype of a sword began to condense.

The blade was slender and pitch-black, with complex patterns carved onto the hilt.

It was the World-Devouring Sword.

Meanwhile, the Primordial God’s torn body transformed into countless hideous, distorted monsters.

Those monsters had no physical form; they were merely clusters of blurred shadows, squirming, roaring, and struggling under the dark crimson sky.

Lilith recognized them.

These monsters were the shadows that appeared later.

The Primordial God’s divine blood and the Void Godstone gave birth to the World-Devouring Sword, the fragments became the later shadows, and the skeleton remained in the depths of the Eternal Abyss.

The Primordial God had been eroded by something and driven to a dead end, forcing him to choose such an extreme method.

But what on earth was that thing?

Just then, another anomaly occurred.

Those newly born blurred shadows suddenly turned their heads in unison, looking in Lilith’s direction.

Their eyes locked onto her all at once.

Then, one of the shadows let out a sharp roar and lunged toward Lilith.

It was incredibly fast, reaching Lilith in an instant.

Before Lilith could even react, the shadow grabbed her arm.

Cold.

A bone-chilling cold.

She tried to break free, but the shadow’s strength was too immense—so great that she couldn't resist at all.

“Let go!”

Lilith let out a low growl, and her dark crimson magic exploded in an attempt to blast the shadow away.

But it was useless.

The shadow still held her firmly, not budging an inch.

Furthermore, that cold was spreading from her arm to her shoulder, and then to her chest.

“Dammit...”

She grit her teeth, struggling desperately.

But the shadow’s other hand had already risen, reaching for her heart.

Just as that hand was about to pierce her chest and crush her heart...

Lilith felt her vision blur, and then everything vanished.

The darkness, the shattered space, the Primordial God, and the shadows all disappeared.

She was back in the void.

That eternal, silent, and empty void.

It was as if everything that had just happened was merely an illusion.

“Huff... huff...”

Lilith panted heavily, her forehead drenched in cold sweat.

She looked down at her arm.

There was no wound, no cold—nothing.

The sensation of the shadow grabbing her still lingered on her skin, but there was no mark on her arm.

“Was it an illusion...”

She whispered to herself, yet a sense of unease welled up in her heart.

If it was an illusion, it had been far too real.

Real enough to make her feel terror.

She shook her head, trying to cast that unease out of her mind.

But at that moment, she felt a surge of power.

A strange yet familiar power.

That power was coming from her hand.

Lilith instinctively looked at her hand.

Then, she froze.

In her hand, she held a sword.

A golden, ethereal sword that emitted a holy light.

The blade was slender and sharp, and the hilt was carved with complex patterns. Those patterns glowed faintly in the darkness like stars, runes, or some ancient language.
