Chapter 71 | Mind-Controlled by the Villainess? I’ll Turn the Tables and Make Her Mine!

The atmosphere in the drawing room suddenly fell silent.

Under the light, Celia stared blankly at the young man's smile.

His face was already exceptionally handsome, and that gentle smile seemed to be imbued with a strange magic, making one feel at ease while quietly bewitching the heart... making it irresistibly tempting to draw closer and explore more.

"Ansu, you..."

Celia, who wanted to say something, found her tongue suddenly tied. She quickly lowered her head, breaking their gaze.

I am not alone, because I still have him...

She liked that sentence very much.

Her heart felt warm, and an indescribable emotion began to spread within her...

But on the surface, Celia furrowed her brows and returned to her usual cold, sullen expression.

Her personality was just that awkward; the more she felt happy or pleased by something, the less she dared to touch it easily...

The inferiority complex and sense of crisis etched into her heart made her instinctively resistant to anything that evoked beauty.

"Enough already!" Celia raised her head and glared fiercely at Ansu's smiling face. "Why are you smiling so beautifully? Do you think I don't know what you're thinking!"

"Hmm?" Ansu froze for a moment and immediately pulled back his smile.

What was wrong with this vile witch now... Wasn't he just trying to comfort her?

She really didn't appreciate his good intentions!

"I know you mean well, and I know you want me to stay wary of her." Celia snorted coldly as she sat on the sofa, habitually crossing her long, slender legs.

"I can feel that Teacher doesn't trust me, and I've known from the start that she's been using me. So, there's no need to comfort me. I'm not that fragile!"

"Oh... that's good then." Ansu breathed a sigh of relief inwardly. In that case, his risky probe just now wasn't a waste.

It seemed the vile witch had some idea of the situation; she just hadn't expected Samantha to be so heartless.

"And!" Celia stared gloomily at Ansu, her expression terrifying to the extreme. "Remember this! From now on, you are not allowed to smile at anyone else like that except for me!"

"Huh?" Ansu blinked in confusion.

Seeing that she was indeed serious, he felt speechless...

Wait, he wasn't even allowed to smile? She was being a bit too overbearing!

Celia grabbed Ansu's collar and pulled his face close, speaking in an almost threatening tone, "If you dare to smile so gently at anyone else, I will completely modify your face and mouth so that you can never smile again!"

Ansu's smile just now had made her feel pleasure and beauty, but if he smiled like that at others...

Then she wouldn't be happy at all.

After all, Ansu had said that he was usually gentle to everyone, so this beauty might not be exclusive to her alone...

"Uh, Lady Witch, I'll restrain myself..."

Ansu gave a dry laugh. He hadn't expected a single smile to cause such a big reaction. It seemed the vile witch's terrifying possessiveness was acting up again...

But he really didn't do it on purpose; this was entirely a passive skill...

【Charisma Boost Lv1】 was truly a curse!

"Also... modify it?" Ansu silently looked at the master of modification, Celia, and asked out of the blue, "How would you modify it?"

"Aren't there plenty of ways?" Celia shot him a glance.

"For example, moving your mouth to another part of your body, or sewing your mouth completely shut and giving you daily IV drips to keep you alive, or twisting your cognition system so that you can never smile from the heart again..."

"Alright, alright..." Ansu couldn't listen anymore.

"Lady Witch, you really do have a talent for modifying people..."

"But sometimes I really don't do it on purpose. You can't just stop me from smiling at everyone; that would be too rude..."

"That's not what I meant." Celia rolled her eyes. She leaned back lazily on the sofa and switched which leg was crossed over the other.

"Polite smiles are obviously different from just now. I can tell whether you're being sincere or not! In short, just stop smiling at people randomly. Stop trying to please other girls!"

Ansu looked at her helplessly, thinking, So you're saying the 'discretionary power' is entirely yours?

It's whatever she says it is...

"Why do you look so reluctant?" Celia glanced at him again and then lowered her eyes slightly toward her crossed right leg. "My legs are sore. Rub them for me!"

Ansu sat beside Celia and, with practiced ease, picked up the long leg encased in black thigh-high stockings and placed it on his lap.

"I'm not reluctant. Since you don't like it, Lady Witch, I'll do as you say." Ansu gently took off Celia's high heels, then supported her small foot. His hand followed the friction of the stockings, slowly moving upward.

Celia watched helplessly as Ansu began to openly take liberties. Every 'leg rub' was turned into a 'leg stroke' by him.

Yet, even though his hands were so dishonest, Celia didn't say anything. She just let him stroke and press while letting out a mocking sneer.

"Besides that, there is one more thing I am very angry about!"

"What is it?" Ansu's hand had already reached her fleshy thigh.

"After I left the school gates..." Celia said irritably, "Didn't I warn you? For safety's sake, don't follow me, and don't get involved in this matter!"

"I didn't follow you!" Ansu felt greatly wronged. He gave the root of the witch's thigh a firm squeeze, making her let out a soft moan.

"Gently! Why are you being so rough again?"

"Sorry, I couldn't help myself," Ansu said with a smile.

"You didn't follow me?" Celia looked at Ansu suspiciously. "Then how did you know the Squirrel Party was being surrounded? You even took action privately without notifying me, bringing that Holy Maiden along to rescue our people."

"Lady Witch, I am the deacon general of the Benalu District." Ansu naturally wouldn't tell her about what he saw in the simulation. He explained how he had secretly contacted his underlings and then, on a whim, reported the Squirrel Party.

"I knew it... I knew you were that enthusiastic good citizen." Celia burst into a laugh. "The other cult members thought it was just a random excuse the Church found... the elders even thought there was another mole in the house... but only I know you."

"This kind of move, playing outside the rules yet being so effective, could only be your doing."

Ansu put on a proud expression. "Isn't it great? I helped the cult get rid of those troublesome teammates, our executors weren't implicated, and the Church trusts me even more. It's a total win-win!"

"Only the Squirrel Party suffered," Celia noted quietly.

"They brought it on themselves," Ansu sneered.

He had already planned it out. This time, he would definitely not let Celia collude with the demon army and the Shadow King again. One major villain like Barcas was enough.

Celia had to develop according to the path he set. Ansu hoped to control her life.

"But..."

Celia knew Ansu was doing it for her sake, and she was indeed moved, but she was also terrified by Ansu's disobedient behavior.

She didn't object to Ansu helping her; what she hated was... Ansu doing everything without consulting her!

"Don't you know how dangerous it was this time? The Empire and the Church joined forces to set a dragnet for the demihuman resistance organizations... if anything had gone wrong..."

"Ansu!" The more Celia thought about it, the more frustrated she became. "You've been getting more and more disobedient lately! I really have to punish you properly today!"
