【[Shen Taihe]: Holy moly! A perfect record is expected! That's too high praise!】
【[Chen Yutong]: Of course! Our Liu Yi is the champion of the Longwu High School Entrance Tournament!】
【[Li Hao]: @Liu Yi See? Even the experts say you can win all your matches!】
【Liu Yi: [smiling.jpg] I'll do my best.】
【[Yan Xinliu]: Oh, right, Song Qingshu and Lu Yiming also have matches tomorrow, don't they? Who are your opponents?】
【[Song Qingshu]: I'm fighting Chenxi High School from the Zell Region. My opponent only has one Junior Vine Monkey, so it shouldn't be a problem.】
【[Lu Yiming]: I'm up against Dune High School from the Jinhuai Region. My opponent has a Junior Sand Scorpion, and my Electric Eel Baby counters it perfectly.】
【[Ding Mei]: Wow! So our class is going for three consecutive wins tomorrow?】
【[Lin Xiaomeng]: @Ding Mei Don't jinx it!】
【[Zhang Yu]: Speaking of which, Liu Yi, did you guys train at the Sky Colosseum today? What's it like there?】
【[Lin Xiaomeng]: Yeah, yeah, yeah! Please share! What do the floating islands look like? Do they really move?】
Liu Yi thought for a moment, then selected a few training photos she took at the Sky Colosseum during the day from her album and sent them to the group chat.
One was a bird's-eye view from her maglev skateboard, with eight floating islands slowly moving under the sunset, against a backdrop of endless clouds.
Another captured Ziyue leaping between two floating islands on a Frost Path, the ice-blue path extending through the air, making the scene as beautiful as a dream.
The third showed Chiying circling above a floating island, its golden patterns shimmering in the afterglow of the sunset, its crimson eyes sharply fixed on the moving target below.
【[Li Hao]: !!! This is too cool!!!】
【[Chen Yutong]: Oh my god! That picture of Ziyue! Frost Path in the air! I'm setting it as my screensaver!】
【[Lin Xiaomeng]: Chiying is so handsome! That gaze is amazing!】
【[Zhao Mingxuan]: Is this the Sky Colosseum? It's much more breathtaking than what I saw in the videos...】
【[Ding Mei]: @Liu Yi Is it hard to ride a maglev skateboard? Just looking at the pictures makes my legs go numb...】
【[Liu Yi]: It took some getting used to at first, but it gets easier after a bit of practice. However, Monte locals have been using them since childhood, so they're much more skilled than us.】
【[Shen Taihe]: So you'll also be commanding on skateboards during tomorrow's match?】
【[Yan Xinliu]: That's right. During official matches, Beast Tamers need to stand on maglev skateboards to observe and command above the floating islands. Each battle zone has an energy protection shield, so there's no risk of falling.】
【[Wang Ming]: That's too difficult! You have to command and maintain balance at the same time!】
【[Chen Liang]: Go, Liu Yi! You'll definitely be fine!】
【[Lin Xiaomeng]: I'm so excited for tomorrow! I feel like there will be many amazing matches!】
【[Ding Mei]: No matter what, Liu Yi's match will definitely be the most exciting!】
【[Li Hao]: Agreed!】
【[Chen Yutong]: Agreed +1!】
【[Zhao Mingxuan]: Agreed +2!】
【......】
Liu Yi couldn't help but chuckle at the flood of “Agreed” messages in the group chat.
Ziyue heard the sound, lifted her head from her mat, and looked at her curiously.
“It's nothing,” Liu Yi said, gently rubbing Ziyue's head. “My classmates are cheering for us.”
“Bingbing~”
Ziyue contentedly rubbed against her palm, then lay back down.
Liu Yi took one last look at the group messages. The chat was still buzzing with discussions about tomorrow's matches: analyzing opponents, guessing outcomes, and planning to watch the live broadcast together.
【[Yan Xinliu]: @Yi Fight well tomorrow, don't be nervous. We're all watching.】
【[Li Hao]: That's right! Go Liu Yi! Go Ziyue!】
【[Chen Yutong]: We'll be waiting for your triumphant return!】
Liu Yi smiled and sent one last reply to the group.
【[Liu Yi]: Thank you everyone, we will win.】
Putting down her phone, she turned off the bedside lamp.
In the darkness, Ziyue and Chiying's breathing was steady and regular.
Liu Yi closed her eyes, her consciousness gradually drifting into slumber.

October 6th, early morning, six o'clock.
The sky above the Monte Region had just begun to lighten with the pale glow of dawn, and a thin mist swirled like a veil among the floating islands.
The sun peeked over the eastern horizon, casting its first golden rays onto the structures suspended above the sea of clouds. The entire cluster of floating islands, like awakened giants, gradually revealed its magnificent silhouette in the morning light.
The Sky Colosseum, the most renowned building in the Monte Region, was now bathed in the glow of the rising sun.
The Central Main Arena's massive energy shield had not yet activated, its transparent material refracting a colorful halo.
The surrounding floating battle zones quietly hovered, their various-sized floating islands moving slowly according to their own rhythms, tracing invisible paths in the sky.
On the spectator platforms outside the colosseum, staff members were making their final preparations.
Energy shield inspections, maglev skateboard charging, battle record terminal debugging... everything was proceeding in an orderly fashion.
And in the media zone outside the colosseum, dozens of reporters and photographers from various media outlets were already in position.
Beast Tamer channels, sports media, and local news stations from across the Yan Country were all gathered on this temporarily erected media platform, calibrating their equipment.
Xia Qing, a reporter from Monte Region Television, stood at the best shooting location, with the magnificent panorama of the entire Sky Colosseum behind her.
Dressed in a sharp professional attire, she held a microphone and was making her final preparations for the camera.
“Lights OK, sound OK, clear picture.” The cameraman gave a hand signal.
Xia Qing took a deep breath, a professional smile gracing her face.
“Good morning, everyone! I'm Xia Qing, a reporter from Monte Region Television. I am currently at the heart of the Huaining Group Region's Monte Competition Zone—the Sky Colosseum!”
