Jinyao didn't listen and continued to run.

It obediently walked back and looked up at her.
Liu Yi crouched down and reached out to rub its head.
"It's late," she said. "It's time to sleep."
Jinyao's ears twitched.
"Yanyan?"
I'm not sleepy.
The moment it finished speaking, it let out a huge yawn.
Its golden eyes narrowed into slits, and its mouth opened wide.
After the yawn, it shook its head, forcing its eyes open.
"Yanyan..."
I'm really not sleepy.
Liu Yi didn't expose it. She simply stood up and walked to the bed, sitting down.
Jinyao immediately followed, its little paws clinging to the edge of the bed, looking up at her.
"Yanyan!"

Liu Yi reached out, scooped it up, and placed it on the bed.

Liu Yi turned and walked to the bedside table, picking up her phone.
It was a message from Wei Xiuyu.

Liu Yi looked at the message, a slight smile curving her lips.
She glanced at the little golden lion still sound asleep on the bed, then tapped a few times on the screen.
【Liu Yi: No, thank you, Teacher Wei.】
【Liu Yi: I've already contracted Jinyao. I can put it into my Beast Taming Space today.】
The message was sent.
There was no immediate reply.
Liu Yi waited a few seconds, but nothing happened.
She placed her phone on the table and turned to wash up in the bathroom.
