【Expanding the Territory: Mighty mage, heroic knight, go forth and pioneer territory for the King. Spread the King's fame and use the conquered lands to write the beginning of your own legend.】
After receiving the advancement mission, according to Daxia's arrangements, the next step was to find the highest-ranking officer stationed in City No. 1 to see which territory was suitable for Chen Xu to pioneer.
A Fuxi sub-unit was also deployed here, so the navigation function could be used within the town.
It was the same old operation: navigate, locate, and teleport.
Aiming in the right direction, he entered and exited the Necrotic Space, arriving in front of the council hall of City No. 1.
Before Chen Xu could even enter, a panel message popped up directly.
【Detected that the Necrotic Space has reached the size of a small world, and since the Land of the Undead has been without a new king for a long time after the death of the previous master, the professional meets the conditions and has automatically completed the Expanding the Territory mission.】
【Advancement mission completed, a special path of ascension has been obtained, and subsequent advancement missions have been anchored.】
【Level limit removed.】
【Class advanced from Necrotic Lord to Lord of the Undead.】

【Ascension Rewards:

2. Obtained exclusive skill 【Black Knight】.
】
Just because he returned to the Necrotic Space once after taking the mission, he had unexpectedly completed the mission automatically.
His class had even advanced to Lord of the Undead, which sounded incredibly powerful.

【Black Knight (Level 1): They are elegant stewards and powerful knights. They can assist the Lord of the Undead in managing the kingdom and are skilled in crusading against the ignorant who are disrespectful to the Lord of the Undead.】
After reviewing the panel, Chen Xu was completely shocked.
His class had advanced directly from the Transcendent-tier Necrotic Lord to the Lord of the Undead, and it was even a growth-type class.
The rank information recorded after the Undead Kingdom showed that even Daxia only had records up to the mythic-tier, yet the Lord of the Undead had advancement capabilities for even higher ranks.
It seemed this accidental advancement was quite good.
However, the descriptions of the Land of the Undead, the Lord of the Undead, and the throne seemed to imply that Chen Xu would face many other competitors in the future.
But with his 【996】 talent, Chen Xu was confident that no one understood summoning undead creatures better than him.
Since his level had already broken through to Level 10, Chen Xu was in no hurry to enter the council hall to find the Daxia representative.
Instead, he first changed into the Necromancer set and then learned the skills 【Summon Skeleton Mage】, 【Summon Skeleton Archer】, 【Summon Skeleton Priest】, 【Bone Prison】, and 【Corpse Explosion】.
Then he entered the Undead Kingdom and immediately raised his hand to summon 1,000 Skeleton Priests, ordering them to summon Skeleton Mages and Skeleton Archers on the Ancient Battlefield.
Watching the Skeleton Priests continuously casting spells, Chen Xu showed a gratified smile.
"I've finally freed my hands and entered a new era!"
Skeleton Priests could only cast the summoning skills and defensive Bone skills that the professional themselves mastered, such as Bone Prison and Bone Armor, so Chen Xu only summoned 1,000.
At his current summoning speed, that was more than enough.
Next, Chen Xu used the Summon Black Knight skill.
Black Knights were quite special; summoning them did not require a corpse but was instead evolved directly from a sliver of the Lord of the Undead's soul power.
In about ten seconds, it slowly grew from a sliver of soul into a skeletal body, then was gradually covered in black armor, and finally, the soul fire was ignited.
A Black Knight was born.
The Black Knight was only 2 meters tall, fully covered in black armor, with only a sliver of soul fire visible through the slits in the helmet.
Strangely, the Black Knight had no weapon or shield; its hands were empty.
The Black Knight knelt on one knee, left hand over its chest and right hand behind its back, a muffled voice coming from within the armor.
"Respected Lord of the Undead, your most loyal servant is at your service!"
"Well, stand up."
Chen Xu was somewhat surprised that this Black Knight possessed sentience just like the skeleton heroes, unlike ordinary summoned creatures that could only follow orders.
He suspected that the reason this Black Knight had no weapon was because it belonged to a special class like the skeleton heroes, so he intended to summon another one to see.
When Chen Xu tried to summon a new Black Knight, he found that the casting failed.
Then, a piece of information emerged from the depths of his soul.
There was a limit to the number of Black Knights, which was equal to the original skill level.
Even though Chen Xu was now equipped with the Necromancer set and had gained a 4-point bonus to his summoning skill levels, he could still only summon based on the original skill level of 1, which meant only one Black Knight.
This restriction existed because of the unique nature of the Black Knights.
Since Black Knights originated from the soul essence of the Lord of the Undead, too much soul essence could not be split.
At the same time, because they originated from the soul essence, when the Lord of the Undead ascended the divine throne and became a god, the Black Knights would all advance to become subordinate gods.
A large group of subordinate gods who would never betray and were only loyal to the Lord of the Undead.
Furthermore, this advancement required no external force.
For instance, skeleton hero units required additional resources to advance into subordinate gods.
After understanding the unique nature of the Black Knight, Chen Xu was overjoyed.
This was simply the dream employee in the eyes of any boss.
Such a good employee had to be treated well.
He then looked at the Black Knight and said, "Should I give you a name? How about Xuan Chu? Black is Xuan, and Chu marks you as the first Black Knight."
"The Black Knight is the manifestation of the Lord of the Undead's will, the arm of the Lord of the Undead, and the servant of the Lord of the Undead."
"Our existence is only to proclaim the greatness of the Lord of the Undead to the world and to crusade against those who are disrespectful."
"The title of a Black Knight is always the Lord of the Undead's Black Knight."
Xuan Chu knelt again and spoke solemnly.
"However, since it is your will, my Lord, I thank you for the name."
Chen Xu thought Bone Guard One's attitude was enough of a blow from feudal etiquette and humility, but this Black Knight almost made him crash.
"Stand up. Our company—ahem, my kingdom—doesn't care about these things. I only look at results."
"My Lord, your mercy shall surely shine across the Land of the Undead."
...
After testing his new skills in the Undead Kingdom, Chen Xu returned to Daxia City No. 1.
He entered the council hall, found the person in charge, and told him about his advancement.
But after hearing Chen Xu's account, the person in charge looked half-puzzled and half-shocked.
"What do you mean you accidentally completed the advancement mission for the Pioneering Order just by entering your Necrotic Space?"
