Chapter 73 | Overtime Necromancy: My Legion Never Sleeps

The moment the rewards from the dungeon conquest were in his hands, Chen Xu immediately fused the space fragment into the Undead Kingdom.

【Undead Kingdom has fused with a Dungeon Space Fragment. Space expanded. Acquired region: Fallen Plain.】

【Fallen Plain: A vast plain filled with a corrupt aura, this is the habitat of the bone nightmare family. Bone nightmares are generated periodically. Providing the carcasses of equine fantasy creatures can accelerate the generation speed.】

【(Bone nightmares are different from bone horses. Bone nightmares possess powerful strength and are proficient in shadow magic. Legend has it that if a necrotic knight can replace their mount with a bone nightmare, they may advance to a scourge knight.)】

Equine creatures could even accelerate the generation. Fortunately, Chen Xu had already instructed the skeleton priests not to use the unicorn corpses to summon creatures, so they could all be placed into the Fallen Plain.

Although creatures like unicorns were not as rare as dragons, they were still considered legendary creatures. In a single dungeon, there were only about ten thousand of them.

He threw them all into the Fallen Plain and then waited quietly for the first bone nightmare to generate.

"Xuan Chu, continue conquering the other dungeons. In the future, if you encounter equine creatures, do not convert them directly."

"As you command, my Lord!"

The skeleton army set off for the next dungeon while Chen Xu returned to the Undead Kingdom to stay in the Fallen Plain, waiting for the first bone nightmare.

"They say those who ride white horses are either princes or holy monks. If I ride a bone nightmare, I should at least count as an undead prince with some noble flair."

Since ancient times, what captivated heroes besides power and beauty were nothing more than good wine, good weapons, or a good mount.

Although Chen Xu already had Sindragosa as an undead bone dragon mount, Sindragosa was too large and inconvenient for many places, especially crowded ones where she might easily scare children.

A bone nightmare was different; it was the right size and looked cool.

Before long, a mound of earth bulged in the Fallen Plain.

Then, the mound broke open, and a bone nightmare leaped out from within.

The bone nightmare shook its head, tossing off the dirt, and let out a neigh toward the sky.

Its four hooves were entwined with shadow magic, allowing it to land silently and even hover briefly in the air.

Chen Xu whistled at it, and the bone nightmare ran toward him, circling him a few times before affectionately rubbing its head against his hand.

"I'll call you Invincible."

"Neigh~"

【Dungeon conquest progress: 60%】

【Dungeon conquest reached Phase 1. Unlocked dungeon name: Green Dragon Lair.】

【Dungeon conquest reached Phase 2. Unlocked primary biological information: green dragon.】

【Dungeon conquest reached Phase 3. Unlocked primary transcendent school information: bloodline evolution. Creatures here revere bloodlines. The bloodline hierarchy is strict, with high-tier bloodline creatures exerting absolute dominion over low-tier ones.】

【Dungeon conquest reached Phase 4. Unlocked strongest transcendent biological information: green dragon. Every dragon is a powerful creature. Even though green dragons are considered middle-to-lower tier among dragonkind, please do not underestimate them.】

The Green Dragon Lair was Dungeon No. 7, the final dungeon.

After the exploration team found traces of dragons in the dungeon, they withdrew and marked it with the highest priority number.

Originally, they wanted to wait for reinforcements before conquering it with Chen Xu.

But the conquest speed of the skeleton army was truly beyond common sense. For a rogue race like this, where the more enemies there were, the more allies they gained, war attrition practically did not exist.

In the first six dungeons, aside from the Forest Sanctuary with its unicorns, the others contained either goblins, kobolds, or bullmen.

Only the green dragons in Dungeon No. 7 piqued Chen Xu's interest.

After all, Daxia's inventory of dragon carcasses had been emptied by Chen Xu, and he was currently in dire need of a stable source of dragon remains.

Chen Xu rode Invincible and stood before the green dragons.

There were two green dragons in this dungeon, a mated pair.

In the dragon nest behind them, five green dragon eggs were also discovered.

"Evil mage, you dare to desecrate the holy dragons! The Dragon Court will never let you go!"

Even with its wings severed and several large holes poked in its chest, with more breath going out than coming in, the green dragon's mouth remained stubborn.

"Dragon Court? What kind of place is that?"

Chen Xu was in no hurry to kill them. It was a simple task, so there was no rush.

"Heh, mage, the Dragon Court is a dragon kingdom established by the great Dragon God, Dragon God, Dragon God. It is filled with swarms of dragons and countless ancient dragons. A mage like you who desecrates dragons is their target for the hunt!"

"Swarms of dragons and countless ancient dragons?"

Chen Xu's eyes lit up. Wasn't this a top-tier recruitment ground for bone dragons?

Although there was some Dragon God named Dragon God, Dragon God, Chen Xu was not that far from the mythic-tier himself.

Furthermore, even if he couldn't win, he could always call for backup.

He waved his hand, signaling Bone Guard Two to finish off the two green dragons.

Chen Xu then took out the Soul-Inducing Token and sent a message to both Tang Hezhou and Xia Qiming.

He asked them to help keep an eye out for dungeons that matched the description of the Dragon Court.

Firstly, it was a warning to Tang Hezhou. Based on the green dragon's description, the Dragon Court was definitely a high-tier dungeon. If the exploration team entered recklessly, they might find it difficult to escape.

Secondly, it was to communicate with Xia Qiming in advance. If there really was a Dragon Court dungeon, he would need Xia Qiming's help to organize a team to conquer it with him, just like this dragonslaying plan.

【Dungeon conquest progress: 100%】

【An arrogant green dragon actually threatened an evil mage who possesses dozens of bone dragons. However, the Dragon Court does exist. Every person who enslaves or hunts dragons is their enemy, until death. Green Dragon Lair dungeon concluded.】

【Congratulations to professional Chen Xu for completing the dungeon conquest. You have received the following rewards:】

【Reward 1: Dragon Egg Blind Box (Will it be a gold dragon, black dragon, blue dragon, or mercury dragon? Or perhaps a strange and incredibly powerful variant dragon from legend? It all depends on your luck.)】

【Reward 2: Special Skill Scroll: Dragon Language Magic - Green Dragon Series】

【Reward 3: Dungeon Space Fragment (dragon nest)】

【Reward 4: Dragonblood Grass】

【Reward 5: Destiny Points】

【Reward 6: Dungeon Core】

To his surprise, the rewards included a dragon egg blind box.

Unfortunately, the professional panel did not have a public pet module. Only professions like Beast Tamer had panels related to pet cultivation.

Others who wanted to raise pets had to spend their own resources to do so.

Given the long growth cycle of dragons, without the power of the panel to accelerate growth, who knew how long it would take to see a return on investment.

"I'll put it on the trading website and see if any other Beast Tamers have good items to exchange."

After entering the description of the Dragon Egg Blind Box into the trading forum and posting the trade, Chen Xu hurried back toward Mohai City.

Wait, it should be called Xinwang City now.

Xinwang, a new hope.

Although this was not the first territory Daxia had reclaimed from a dungeon invasion, it was the first dungeon invasion clearance with zero casualties, if Chen Xu's skeleton soldiers were not counted.
