The sixty-three original document tablets were laid out before me, alongside the forty-five replica tablets.
The tablets held by the Holy See belonged to the Pope, the Saintess, the knights, and the bishops.
Except for the Pope's document tablet, which was never distributed, the knight and bishop tablets were sent out to allow various regions to recruit their own knights independently.
The Saintess's document tablet was only issued to the corresponding Saintess to signify the inheritance of her title.
These forty-five replica document tablets included twenty-one for seventh-rank knights, twenty-one for seventh-rank bishops, and three for Saintesses.
These were items possessed by the other seven nations of the Holy Church, excluding the Holy See itself.
However, those sixty-three original tablets were something they did not have!
"Hmph~ Hehehehe~"
Finally, I could see a glimmer of hope.
My excitement was hard to contain, and I rolled around on the bed hugging my pillow, feeling a sudden urge to rush outside and scream at the top of my lungs.
However, considering the noble status a Saintess must maintain, I dismissed that idea.
Even though I was mentally exhausted and filled with drowsiness, that feeling of exhilaration was still impossible to suppress.
Tomorrow, tomorrow I can take these tablets and trade with those Saintesses!
"Hehehe~"
No, I can't laugh!
I must be elegant!
But... I just can't help it.
My face was starting to feel stiff from smiling.
I rolled over and sat up, rubbing my slightly aching cheeks.
From tomorrow on, I will be a happy person!
I'll feed the horses, chop wood, and travel the world!
From tomorrow on, I'll care about grain and vegetables.
I'll have a house, facing the sea, where spring blossoms!
"Hehe... Hehehehe..."
...
Early the next morning.
"Someone, attend to my bath."
I stepped over the tablets scattered on the floor; to be honest, I didn't really care about them anymore.
Since I could pray for so many document tablets and succeed every single time without exception, I could simply pray for more!
In my eyes now, these things really weren't that valuable.
Speaking of which, my title as a Saintess was granted by the Pope. It seemed necessary to prepare a new tablet for myself.
What if the Pope had a sudden lapse in judgment one day and destroyed my tablet?
A file of young nuns quickly entered from outside, holding a long white robe to cover my body before leading me to the Saintess's baptismal chamber.
After taking a bath and soaking for a while, I discovered that this body truly had some unique properties.
I wasn't sure if it was an effect of the Saintess title or if this body was naturally extraordinary.
No dirt ever remained on my skin; even sweat would not congeal into grime. Every bath was merely a way to refresh myself.
After I finished bathing, I could clearly feel that the water in the pool contained a faint trace of divine power.
Subsequently, the young nuns would carefully scoop out all the water from the pool and bottle it into metal flasks.
This holy water could be used for alchemy or to fuel magic.
It was said that a Saintess's holy water had other special uses, though I hadn't looked into the details.
Apparently, it could slightly increase vitality and make one feel energized.
I wasn't entirely sure of the specifics, as I couldn't feel the effects of the holy water myself.
This was because my entire body was already overflowing with divine power.
This also allowed my spirit and energy to remain in a very healthy state regardless of the time or place.
"Dress me."
Standing before the mirror, the young nuns quickly wiped the moisture from my body, though I handled certain areas myself.
Soon, they dressed me in the familiar waist cincher and then draped the Saintess's robe over me.
The final button on the robe always required me to fasten it personally; otherwise, the robe would not close properly.
Finally, I put on my crown.
A pure white and elegant Saintess appeared in the mirror.
However, the Saintess in the reflection had her feet hovering off the ground.
By now, I had become proficient in using the floating skill.
Although this skill seemed useless, it actually provided me with noticeable benefits.
The greatest advantage was that it reduced the amount of divine power that leaked away.
Arriving at the Temple, I had Lola bring the sixty-three document tablets into the communication room.
I conveniently covered the tablets with a white cloth.
For the time being, I didn't want the Pope to see them.
The replica document tablets were piled on the other side.
The difference between the two was that the originals were like warm jade, clear and transparent, while the replicas were clearly made of ordinary stone.
Soon, it was eight o'clock in the morning.
When thirteen glowing 3D images abruptly appeared before me, I knew that this Eight-Nation Meeting had begun.
Among the thirteen images, the Pope stood apart from the rest, while the other twelve were the royalty and Saintesses from each region.
"Everyone... is everyone here? Please state your names."
Pope Diocletian scanned the crowd with a lingering smile on his face, looking like a gentle young man.
But everyone present knew just how vast this Pope's ambition truly was.
However, in such a formal setting, no one would point this out to his face, as that would easily lead to a total fallout.
Therefore, the first to announce their titles were naturally from the Kingdom of the Sun.
"Momoka Saint Raphael, Saintess of the Sun."
"Ryuichi Yamazaki... Emperor of the Kingdom of the Sun."
The first to speak were the Saintess of the Sun and a expressionless middle-aged man dressed in a kimono.
"Saintess of Flame, Anna Saint Uriel."
"Dominic Burns, Emperor of the Kingdom of Flame."
Next was the Kingdom of Flame, adjacent to the Kingdom of the Sun, located in the lower-right corner of the Eight Nations of the Holy Church, toward the southeast-by-south.
The Emperor of the Kingdom of Flame looked very young, perhaps only in his teens, looking like a small child and speaking with a hint of a childish tone.
Then came the Kingdom of the Sea, located in the southwest of the continent, its territory divided into countless islands.
"Ophelia Saint Gabriel, Saintess of Water."
"Anastasia Toland, Queen of the Kingdom of the Sea. It is a pleasure to meet you all."
The ruler of the Kingdom of the Sea was actually a woman?
This was something I hadn't expected, but since the Kingdom of the Sea was known as the Maritime Commercial Capital, their thinking was likely not bound by old-fashioned notions. A queen wasn't too surprising.
Next was the Kingdom of the Highlands, located to the west of the Eight Nations of the Holy Church.
"Lina Saint Michael, Saintess of War."
"Sovereign of the Kingdom of the Highlands—Scott Polite."
This sovereign was an old man who looked very energetic. Despite his white hair, his eyes were sharp, and his mere presence gave off an aura of being matchless.
Following him was the nation located in the northwest desert region of the Eight Nations of the Holy Church.
"Saintess of Sand, Aisha Saint Metatron."
"Hugh Golgustin—Emperor of the Kingdom of Sand."
Then there was the nation located in the far north of the Eight Nations of the Holy Church, one of the coldest countries on the continent.
"Saintess of Ice, Elizabeth Saint Raguel."
"Broderick Swifteve, Emperor of Snow Country."
Finally, everyone's gaze turned toward me.
Responding to their eyes, I stood up and gave a slight nod.
"The Saintess and Sovereign of the Kingdom of the Moon, the Saintess of Brilliance—Luo Li Saint Sariel."
Everyone's gaze lingered on me for a long time, especially the sovereigns, whose expressions held a certain weight.
Their eyes were filled with playfulness, admiration, interest, and various other emotions.
However, I ignored them and sat back down in my seat.
Next, the Pope looked at everyone.
"Diocletian, Pope."
With his introduction, the entire communication room fell into complete silence.
"Very well, since everyone is here, let the meeting begin."
"Your Holiness, this Eight-Nation Meeting is to discuss the demon race. Since the Saintess of the Moon has just faced and defeated them, she surely has the most right to speak. Perhaps she should say a few words first?"
The first to speak was Ryuichi Yamazaki, the Emperor of the Kingdom of the Sun.
This middle-aged man had a calm expression and spoke very formally, but his point made sense.
After all, the demon race had just made a move, and I was the first to engage them, so I naturally had the most authority here.
"It seems everyone is already aware that I repelled the demon army. In that case, let us begin the discussion there."
After a moment of reflection, I disclosed some details of the previous battle with the demon race. Each monarch listened in silence, occasionally frowning or asking questions.
The explanation lasted for nearly half an hour. I covered almost every detail, and these monarchs all asked very pointed questions.
They inquired in detail about every turning point.
Except for the things that couldn't be said, almost everything else was squeezed out by them.
"Very well, since everyone is now clear on the matter, let's put it all out in the open,"
Diocletian said with a smile, then looked at me again.
"This time, the performance of the Saintess of the Moon has been truly impressive. As the Pope of the Holy See, it would be unacceptable not to grant some rewards after she repelled such a massive number of demon elites. In that case... I shall be the first to contribute."
Next, Diocletian produced a list detailing various resources, mostly grain and iron, along with some sacred mithril and other materials.
Subsequently, the other nations also stepped forward with offers, as resisting the demon race was not the responsibility of a single family.
The Eight Nations of the Holy Church shared this burden, so when the demon race invaded, the other seven nations would offer their assistance.
Even though the battle had ended, the post-war recovery still required many resources.
Naturally, this burden would fall on the other seven nations of the Holy Church.
Rather than waiting for me to make an exorbitant demand, they preferred to offer it directly.
I did not refuse, nor did I wish to haggle, as these were just the minor details. The real show was yet to come.
The entire compensation process lasted for over another half an hour.
Because the top leaders of the eight nations were meeting, the entire process felt extremely serious.
There wasn't a hint of levity.
"That is roughly everything. Next, we shall discuss the current situation between the Kingdom of the Moon and the demon race. I ask the Saintess of the Moon to explain this in detail."
Diocletian tossed the topic back to me.
I couldn't refuse, so I began to explain the cause and effect of the situation.
"It seems the Kingdom of the Moon is in significant trouble. In that case, Saintess of the Moon, I am willing to personally lead troops to assist you!"
After hearing me describe the current predicament at the border, the first to speak up was actually the ruler of the most distant Kingdom of the Highlands.
"My sword has long been starving for action!"
The Saintess of War—Lina Saint Michael.
