“Come at me together. I'm in a hurry.”
Tyr beckoned to the three of them with a curl of his finger. There was only half an hour left before the swordsmanship class began, and he didn't want to be late on his first day, so he might as well have them come at him all at once.
Seeing how little Tyr regarded them, the faces of Silas and the other two instantly darkened.
Before Tyr's arrival, the three of them had been the kings of the hill among this batch of kids.
“I'd like to see if you can still act so arrogant once we pin you to the ground.”
Silas's face twisted in anger as he lunged forward, throwing a punch at Tyr.
Letitia and Barry moved at the exact same time. The three of them flanked Tyr from three different directions, striking at him from three different angles.
To them, with three different attacks landing simultaneously, Tyr could at most block two of them. This time, they would definitely beat him to a pulp, teaching him exactly who called the shots in this Sword Prison.
Faced with their coordinated attack, Tyr didn't panic in the slightest. He sank into a slight squat, keeping his eyes and ears open to everything around him.
He snapped his left leg up, blocking Letitia's whipping kick, while simultaneously thrusting his hand forward to grab Silas's wrist.
As the familiar scene unfolded, a terrible premonition instantly welled up in Silas's heart.
But before he could figure out what was happening, his bad feeling became reality.
Tyr retreated a step. Using the force of Letitia's whipping kick, he let his body fall toward Barry on his right.
In the process, however, Tyr gave Silas's wrist a violent yank, dragging Silas along with him.
A fist infused with magic power flew straight toward the oncoming Barry, catching him completely off guard just as he was about to strike Tyr's back.
Channeling magic power into his right foot, Tyr drove his heel down and spun his body on the ball of his foot. Releasing his right hand, he slammed his left palm into Silas's back, adding an extra burst of momentum to his forward stumble.
Barry had never expected such a move, and he couldn't pull back his momentum in time.
Silas was in the same boat, his own inertia combined with Tyr's push sending him hurtling directly into Barry.
Just as Tyr stabilized his stance, the sound of rushing air whipped toward him from his right.
He snapped his right arm upward, blocking another whipping kick Letitia threw from behind him.
“Bang!”
With a surge of magic power, a faint trace of energy overflowed from Tyr's right arm, forcing Letitia back several steps.
Pushing off the ground lightly, Tyr leaped high into the air and flipped backward, escaping their encirclement.
Tyr raised his hand and clenched his fist, feeling the increased strength within his body.
Compared to when he had just walked out of Training Field No. 1, trading blows with the three of them now allowed him to clearly perceive the changes in his strength.
Although hitting Letitia and the others still felt like striking thick leather with his bare hands, he could definitely feel the improvement.
Yesterday, when he fought Letitia and Silas, he had been able to push them back multiple times, but he couldn't actually hurt them at all.
As the foundation of the Callis family, the 《Sword Qi Body Tempering Technique》's physical reinforcement was undeniably powerful.
With such an abnormal cultivation method, if it didn't yield immense strength, it would be a disservice to the suffering endured and the vast fortunes spent on the medicinal baths.
He had been able to firmly suppress the two of them relying on his combat experience from his previous life and his slightly stronger magic power, but he had no way of causing any actual damage.
To put it realistically, though he looked fierce suppressing them, he had essentially just been dealing superficial scratches.
But now, although he still couldn't overwhelm them completely, he could at least inflict actual damage.
“Want to keep going?” Tyr asked flatly, looking at Silas and Barry as they scrambled up from the ground in disarray.
“Attack together! Watch out for his bizarre fighting style!”
It was precisely Tyr's indifferent attitude that infuriated the three of them. A mere newcomer dared to look down on them like this.
Having learned their lesson, the three of them didn't dare to be so impatient in the fight, terrified that Tyr would grab and pull them again, making them lose control of their bodies.
As a result, during the clash, they held back thirty percent of their strength with every exchange, staying cautious.
“They know how to adapt, but they're still too green.”
Tyr swept a glance over the three of them, then suddenly lunged forward, appearing in front of Silas in the blink of an eye.
【Baji • Heart-Striking Elbow】
Silas felt as if a massive object had slammed into his chest, and he flew backward like a cannonball.
“Silas!”
Letitia and Barry clearly hadn't expected Tyr, who had been on the defensive, to suddenly launch a powerful offensive. And with a single thunderous strike, he had sent Silas flying.
“I'm fine.”
The force of that elbow was by no means light. Silas tumbled several times on the ground before stopping, picking himself up covered in dirt.
Seeing that Silas was fine, Letitia turned her gaze back to Tyr. Magic power continuously surged from her body as her long hair whipped in the wind. Taking a step forward, she blurred into an afterimage and lunged at him.
Right now, she wanted nothing more than to pin Tyr to the ground and thrash him.
But Tyr refused to meet her head-on. Stepping through the Bagua Swimming Dragon steps, he shifted his position to easily dodge Letitia's attacks, finding an opening to land a punch on her.
Tyr's fighting style focused entirely on agility, as if the person who had just unleashed that sudden explosive strike wasn't him at all.
Yet, despite Letitia's fierce appearance, she failed to touch even the hem of Tyr's clothes from start to finish.
Seeing Letitia being “played” like this by Tyr, Silas also surged with magic power and rushed in.
With both of them engaged, Barry naturally joined the fray immediately.
However, still wary of Tyr's opening move, he kept holding back thirty percent of his strength with every strike, careful not to collide head-on with Silas or Letitia again.
After an unknown number of exchanges among the four, Tyr tapped his foot against the ground and retreated several paces.
“Aren't you going to stop? We're about to be late.”
Letitia and the other two stopped simultaneously, clearly realizing this as well.
“We'll let you off the hook today. Next time, I'm going to beat you to a pulp!”
All three of them glared fiercely at Tyr, then turned and ran toward the drill grounds.
“Wait, that's not right. You guys were clearly the ones looking for trouble, so why does it feel like I'm the one in the wrong?”
Seeing how they didn't forget to glare at him before leaving, Tyr felt utterly speechless.
Sure enough, you could never reason with children.
“But you guys only have these few days left. If you can't beat me to a pulp now, your only fate will be to get pinned to the ground and thrashed by me in the future.”
