Chapter 27 | Reincarnated as a Duke's Son, I Walk the Sword God's Path

“Is that so?”

Sevira looked blank. Although her talent was excellent, her speed of tempering her body with sword qi was not much faster.

Every time she left the training field, it was already close to noon. After returning to the dormitory, washing up, and having lunch, she would go to bed to rest.

Every day, she wished she could spend more time in the dormitory.

So she couldn't quite understand what it felt like for Tyr to feel bored staying in the dormitory.

“Let's go, back to the dormitory.”

“Oh, oh, alright.”

The two walked toward the dormitory together. On the way, they also encountered Letitia and her two companions, whose eyes still harbored malice as they looked at Tyr.

It seems they haven't given up yet, Tyr murmured to himself. However, he didn't pay it much mind. As long as his speed of becoming stronger was fast enough, their hostility was completely irrelevant.

“Goodbye, Brother Tyr.”

Back at the dormitory building, Sevira waved goodbye to Tyr and walked into her room.

“Yeah, goodbye.”

Tyr nodded and turned to head upstairs. Tyr lived on the top floor, while Sevira lived on the first floor.

Pushing the door open and entering his room, Tyr found that besides Avia, there was another person inside.

“Chief Instructor Ryder, is there something the matter?”

That's right. The other person in Tyr's room at this moment was indeed the chief instructor of the Sword Prison, Ryder Callis.

After the cultivation session on the training field ended, Ed had hurriedly reported Tyr's anomaly to Ryder.

This was also the first Ryder had heard of the changes in Tyr, so he decided to come and take a look.

However, when he arrived at Tyr's room, he was informed by Tyr's maid that Tyr had gone out.

Thinking that Tyr should be returning for his afternoon rest around this time, Ryder did not go out to look for him, but decided to wait here for his return.

“I came to check on you.”

Ryder stepped up to Tyr and reached out to place a hand on his shoulder.

Just like Ed had done on the training field, Ryder injected magic power into Tyr's body.

Compared to Ed's magic power back then, Tyr could clearly sense that Ryder's magic power was much more robust.

A moment later, Ryder withdrew his hand, a thoughtful look appearing on his face.

“Chief Instructor Ryder, is there something wrong with my body?”

Seeing Ryder like this, Tyr asked in a worried tone.

Even Avia, who stood to the side, became worried, looking at Tyr with an anxious gaze.

“No, there isn't. Your body is very healthy,” Ryder shook his head and continued. “As for why your cultivation speed with the 《Sword Qi Body Tempering Technique》 is getting faster and faster, there is a high probability that you are highly compatible with this technique.”

Having failed to find any issues either, Ryder could only attribute it in the end to Tyr's extremely high compatibility with the 《Sword Qi Body Tempering Technique》, which allowed him to cultivate much faster than others.

Since he found no issues, Ryder did not plan to stay any longer.

“It's getting late. Have your lunch and rest quickly. This afternoon's swordsmanship training won't be easy for you all.”

“Alright, thank you.”

After Ryder left, Tyr had Avia prepare lunch.

After enjoying his lunch, Tyr returned to his bed.

Chief Instructor Ryder likely knew what their training entailed. Since even he said that the afternoon training wouldn't be easy, it probably wouldn't be like before, where they just simply practiced swordsmanship.

To have enough physical energy to handle the training in the afternoon, Tyr also needed to get a good sleep.

...

In the afternoon, as soon as Tyr arrived at the drill grounds, he saw many cages placed beside Tina.

Inside each cage was a magical wolf with crimson fur.

A magical beast: Bloodthirsty Magic Wolf.

It was a pack-dwelling magical beast with a ferocious and violent nature. At the peak of adulthood, a Bloodthirsty Magic Wolf's realm could reach the Third Circle.

Working together, a pack of wolves could hunt down a Fourth Circle magical beast.

But the Bloodthirsty Magic Wolves locked in the cages on the drill grounds right now were clearly all cubs, with their strength only at the First Circle.

“Now that all of your strengths have reached the First Circle, it is time for your first real lesson in the Sword Prison: hunting.”

That's right. In the current Sword Prison, even the few reserves who had been dragging their feet had already reached the First Circle in magic power level.

With the blood of the Callis family flowing in their veins, they were naturally close to magic power.

Even for the slowest among them, condensing their Magic Circle had not taken more than a month.

If placed among commoners, this was a speed they wouldn't even dare to dream of. Even among the nobility, this speed was by no means slow.

But in the Sword Prison, they were the ones dragging everyone down, the trash in the mouths of the other reserves.

“Everyone, go get a sword.”

Tina raised her hand and pointed to a weapon rack not far away. This time, what lay on the weapon rack were no longer wooden swords, but genuine iron swords.

Once all the reserves had chosen their weapons and returned to the center of the drill grounds, Tina patted the cage beside her, her gaze sweeping across the crowd of reserves on the drill grounds.

As Tina questioned everyone, the Bloodthirsty Magic Wolf cubs locked in the cages seemed to sense something as well.

They stood up inside their cages, their eyes faintly glowing with a red light as they stared fiercely at Tyr and the others. Some cubs even began to violently slam against the cages holding them.

Bang! Bang!

Clatter! Clatter!

Growl... Growl...

Sharp claws swiped at the iron cages, and low growls rumbled from the throats of the Bloodthirsty Magic Wolf cubs, as if they were ready to rush out at any moment and tear the humans before them to pieces.

Seeing the ferocity of the Bloodthirsty Magic Wolves in the iron cages, many of the reserves on the drill grounds shrunk their necks.

These Bloodthirsty Magic Wolf cubs were not like the magical beasts in the novels Tyr had read in his past life, which were already crippled before being sent to students for practice.

The Bloodthirsty Magic Wolf cubs inside the iron cages were all in peak condition. Although their realm was only at the First Circle, the reserves here were also only at the First Circle.

Furthermore, the Bloodthirsty Magic Wolf was a highly brutal and bloodthirsty species among magical beasts.

Of course, the most important point was that they all knew that even if they were pinned to the ground and mauled by the Bloodthirsty Magic Wolves, Tina would not make a move as long as their lives were not in danger.

Sometimes they themselves didn't know whether it was a good or bad thing that the Callis family possessed so many precious magic potions.

With so many precious magic potions, they had absolutely no need to worry about injuries. As long as they didn't die, they could be pulled back from the brink no matter how severe their wounds were.

Yet, it was precisely because of the powerful efficacy of these precious magic potions that they would be pushed to all kinds of extremes in their training, making them feel as if they were better off dead.
