Chapter 105 | Reincarnated as a Heretical Nun

Olivia didn't want to overthink the issue of the underground black market. After all, the church was already aware of the situation here and maintained an attitude of silent approval toward all its affairs, so she naturally wouldn't interfere.

She turned around; it was time to find her prey.

Luca Fischer.

Calculating the time, the prey should be entering the underground black market at this very moment.

As long as she could create a bit of friction with the other party and then provoke him into a cage battle, she would achieve her goal.

How to create friction and how to provoke him wasn't a problem for Olivia at all.

This feeling of having everything under her control made her feel as if she were walking on air.

This was vastly different from before.

In the past, most of the time, the places she occupied were not within the magic mirror's range of control. Naturally, the magic mirror couldn't provide real-time answers, which meant she lacked true precognitive effects; after all, she never knew what she might encounter.

Therefore, many times she only became aware of a problem once she was already facing it, forcing her to use the magic mirror to find solutions from other angles.

But now, things were different.

Within the magic mirror's range, she essentially wouldn't encounter any sudden issues. Any problem would be known in advance, allowing her to prepare a response.

After silently asking a few more questions in her heart, Olivia slowly approached a stall.

This was a stall selling spiritual materials. Various rare spiritual materials were on display, causing everyone who passed by to inevitably pause for a moment.

Spiritual materials were not easy to obtain, especially those belonging to magic creatures.

Due to the hunting of transcendents, the number of magic creatures nowadays was extremely small. Aside from those raised by the empire and major organizations, wild ones were almost never seen.

Yet, at the stall before her, among the numerous spiritual materials, there were materials belonging to magic creatures.

The Purgatory Blood Lion's eyeball—this blood-red eye, which resembled jelly, was placed in a transparent vessel. Everyone who looked at the eyeball always felt as if its pupil were still alive and watching them, making them feel a bit uneasy.

This was exactly what Luca needed.

Luca's transcendent path was that of a Druid!

The Druid path originally belonged to the Nature Sect of the Varian Empire.

Unlike the Holy Kelidos Empire, which was completely controlled by the Radiant Light Church, the other two of the three great empires—the Moriah Empire and the Varian Empire—were both multi-faith empires.

The Nature Sect was one of the many official churches of the Varian Empire.

As for Luca, he had once been a citizen of the Varian Empire and a member of the Nature Sect.

But he had betrayed the Nature Sect, becoming a traitor reviled by everyone in the Varian Empire. He had been forced to flee his homeland, come to the Holy Kelidos Empire, and join the Rose Legion.

Olivia didn't want to delve too deeply into Luca's past.

She only knew that the third advancement ritual for a Druid required a Purgatory Blood Lion's eyeball, and before becoming a traitor to the Nature Sect, Luca had learned the ritual content and corresponding materials required for the third advancement in advance.

Therefore, this Purgatory Blood Lion's eyeball was of vital importance to Luca.

Olivia's gaze swept through the crowd, quickly capturing the approaching target.

It was a figure like most others, draped in a cloak and wearing a mask. If anyone else had seen such a person, they would have been completely unable to determine their identity; only Olivia, relying on her 'cheat' methods, could know for sure.

She withdrew her gaze and asked the stall owner, "The Purgatory Blood Lion's eyeball—how many Belu?"

"Two hundred thousand."

"I'll take it."

Olivia spoke decisively.

"Wait!" As expected, a voice calling for a stop came from nearby.

Luca walked over quickly, his eyes fixed on the Purgatory Blood Lion's eyeball on the stall. He never expected that one of the spiritual materials he dreamed of could be seen in such a place.

In the third advancement ritual for a Druid, the Purgatory Blood Lion's eyeball was undoubtedly the most important piece because it was the hardest to obtain.

As for the other spiritual materials, he had already acquired them long ago!

As long as he could get this Purgatory Blood Lion's eyeball, he could elevate himself to the rank of Transcender!

This was a temptation impossible to resist.

"Sell it to me, I'll pay two hundred and fifty thousand," Luca said straightforwardly to the stall owner.

"Three hundred thousand."

Olivia didn't wait for the stall owner to say anything before immediately raising the price.

This made the stall owner overjoyed. He never expected that an unexpectedly acquired Purgatory Blood Lion's eyeball could be worth so much. One must know that the price he had originally set was already quite inflated.

And now, the price had reached a jaw-dropping level.

Luca didn't expect the lady beside him would still raise the price.

He looked over and said, "Madam, could you perhaps let me have the Purgatory Blood Lion's eyeball?"

"Who the hell do you think you are? You think I'll just give it to you because you asked?" Olivia sneered without hesitation. "I haven't even mentioned that you suddenly jumped in to raise the price, forcing me to spend an extra hundred thousand Belu for nothing. You actually have the nerve to ask me to give it to you? Is it that people nowadays have no sense of boundaries, or are you just naturally shameless?"

Luca's face darkened at her words.

But thinking about the importance of this spiritual material to him, he could only suppress his irritation at the mockery.

"I can give you an additional ten thousand Belu."

"Get lost."

"You..."

"What about 'you'? If you don't have money, what are you doing acting big here? Someone like you looks like a piece of trash at a glance."

Regarding how to provoke people, Olivia had become exceptionally skilled due to her recent practice.

With just a few words, she caused the anger in Luca's heart to spread uncontrollably.

Then, right in front of Luca, she purchased the Purgatory Blood Lion's eyeball.

Looking at the transparent vessel in her hand, Olivia smiled. "I don't really have a use for it right now, so I'll just buy it to use as a decoration... even as a decoration, I won't give it to certain people."

She put the vessel into her pocket and walked away on her own.

Luca simply couldn't bear to miss out on the Purgatory Blood Lion's eyeball like this. With his current status as a fugitive, he might not see another Purgatory Blood Lion's eyeball for several years. His sense of urgency was higher than ever before.

Taking a deep breath, Luca walked up and said in a low voice, "A Purgatory Blood Lion's eyeball isn't worth three hundred thousand Belu. Don't you think it's a huge loss to buy it?"

'But your head is worth three hundred thousand Belu,' Olivia thought. On the surface, she said, "Does that have anything to do with you?"

"I can give you money."

"Heh, if you had more money, you could have just kept raising the price earlier. But you didn't, which means you're out of cash. So, if your money isn't enough, why should I give it to you?"
