Chapter 118 | Reincarnated as a Heretical Nun

Under Julia's gaze, Olivia silently focused on her left eye, sensing a surging power within it.

She chose to activate that power.

In the next moment, a profound aura emanated from her left eye, causing the amber pupil to rapidly turn a deep, vivid scarlet.

This sight made Bryce's eyelids twitch, and he instinctively took two steps back. An inexplicable sense of dread welled up in his heart.

It was the same kind of palpitation one felt when facing a powerhouse. He had felt such an aura before in the presence of those far stronger than himself.

Yet at this moment, he was actually feeling that same sensation from someone whose class rank was lower than his own!

This was simply unbelievable!

Julia, on the other hand, showed a look of great interest as she stared intently at Olivia's left eye.

As someone who dealt with forbidden artifacts year-round, she was certain she felt the aura of a forbidden artifact.

That person named Rose whom Olivia had mentioned was indeed a fusion of human and forbidden artifact. Only such a being could leave behind an eye capable of emitting an aura like this.

Julia was intrigued. She felt as if a marvelous research subject was appearing right before her eyes.

However, now was not the time for such studies.

She returned the King's Domain to Olivia and said with a smile, "Olivia, since you obtained this forbidden artifact yourself, it naturally belongs to you. Take it back."

She had confirmed that the King's Domain would not become uncontrollable in Olivia's hands.

Seeing this, Bryce couldn't help but show a look of envy.

This was a rule-grade forbidden artifact. He hadn't expected a mere Sensate to obtain such a treasure.

Even if the artifact were given to him, he wouldn't dare take it. Olivia could suppress it because of the unique nature of her eye, but he had no such ability.

Once Olivia had retrieved the King's Domain, Julia spoke again. "Regarding what you mentioned, I've already sent people to investigate, and I just received a response. All the clergy members who previously entered the Paradise have become lost within it."

Julia paused slightly here.

She naturally knew that Olivia was also someone who had entered the Paradise. So why hadn't Olivia become lost like the others?

Olivia hadn't explained this, but since she didn't offer the information, Julia didn't plan to ask. As long as she was certain Olivia's heart was with the church and that she was one of their own, that was enough.

Moreover, she personally quite liked Olivia.

Julia continued, "Our next operation will be divided into two main parts.

"The first is the dream world, and the second is the reality.

"Based on our prior understanding of the Paradise, we will search for corresponding anchors to enter the Paradise and stop them from achieving their goals.

"Simultaneously, we will maintain a strong defense in reality to prevent the Paradise from attempting anything else they shouldn't.

"As for the dream world, you don't need to worry about it, Olivia. However, I am putting you in charge of the reality.

"I will assign some people to you. You will coordinate them, deciding how they should act to ensure that while we are operating in the dream world, nothing goes wrong in the real world."

"Wait..." Olivia couldn't help but interrupt Julia, pointing at herself in surprise. "I'm the one coordinating?"

Julia replied with a smile, "Correct. You are the coordinator."

"But I'm only a Sensate, just a deaconess. I..."

"It's enough. Because you have the King's Domain, it's enough."

"..."

Olivia was left speechless.

But thinking about it carefully, with the King's Domain, she really could make various sophisticated arrangements. After all, the entire South District was within her grasp.

The King's Domain could even be paired with the magic mirror to produce effects far beyond imagination.

Problems discovered by the magic mirror could also be attributed to the King's Domain, allowing her to utilize her own abilities more freely.

"I understand. I will handle the arrangements well," Olivia nodded with a serious expression.

...

Soon after, Julia quickly gathered many clergy members in the clearing outside the Administrative Office. She announced to everyone that Olivia would have full authority over the upcoming operation.

This appointment caused expressions of surprise to appear on many faces. However, since the order came from Julia, the legendary nun, no one dared to voice any objection.

Mirabelle was also in the crowd, looking at Olivia with a face full of disbelief.

What was going on?

Was this Olivia the same one she knew?

Why had her status risen at such an absurd speed since coming to the Daylight Cathedral?

In the blink of an eye, she had become the one overseeing so many clergy members?

Mirabelle could see that there were even several mid-level class rank transcendents in the crowd. Were these people... also going to take orders from Olivia?

Under various differing gazes, Olivia spoke seriously, "Everyone, follow me."

She turned and headed out of the Daylight Cathedral. Seeing this, the others followed suit.

Next, she had to arrange for everyone to take their positions, which naturally had to be done outside the cathedral. The cathedral itself possessed unique properties that could prevent the King's Domain from functioning effectively.

It was late at night, and on Triumphant Street outside the church, the crimson moon's hue blanketed the ground. It felt as if they were walking on a sheet of red gauze.

Olivia took out the King's Domain and began using its power to designate specific areas, revealing the ten highest-ranked individuals within those zones.

【Effect 7: Allows the user to designate an area on the map and display the class ranks of the ten strongest transcendents within that area.】

Olivia was checking the status of each area. However... for the streets that were not under the magic mirror's control, she needed this method to understand the situation. For the areas already within the magic mirror's reach, gathering information was much simpler.

While using the King's Domain to assess the situation in different zones, Olivia simultaneously queried the magic mirror in her mind.

She was searching for the location of the Dreamland Paradise members.

Even if those people had entered the dream world, their physical bodies remained in reality. No matter how well those bodies were hidden, they were now completely exposed to her.
