Chapter 122 | Reincarnated as a Heretical Nun

As soon as most people stepped out of their houses, they spotted the dream giant looming not far away.

For the few who were further off, Olivia Melianne chose to assist them with teleportation, ensuring all clergy members could engage the dream giants immediately.

As for the one on Triumphant Street...

Olivia looked up, and the dream giant "looked" back at her.

Even though the dream giant had noticed her, it didn't choose to approach. Instead, it turned around and reached its hand toward a nearby house.

It was going to attack ordinary people.

"Do you love using civilians as hostages that much? You lot from Dreamland Paradise really do find new ways to sink lower,"

Olivia let out a sigh of lament.

She glanced at the King's Domain in her hand. Its teleportation effect only worked on those who didn't intentionally resist, meaning it was useless against enemies. She couldn't gather all the dream giants together to deal with them at once; she had to take them down one by one.

And currently, they were short-handed.

Besides the dream giant here on Triumphant Street, several others were wandering throughout the South District, and there weren't enough people left to deal with them.

"So, I have to be the one to step in?"

Olivia muttered to herself.

Using the teleportation effect, her figure flashed, and she appeared behind the dream giant. The Cross Grace in her hand had already enlarged and was coated in a crimson glow.

Wrathful Slash!

Olivia let out a low shout in Sylvan Runes, amplifying the power of the strike. She wielded the Cross Grace like a massive blade, hacking into the dream giant's back and tearing open a long, jagged gash.

This immediately halted the dream giant's movement toward the nearby house. It spun around and slammed its massive hand down toward Olivia.

Olivia had long anticipated this. With a flash, she vanished from the spot.

She was still utilizing the teleportation function of the King's Domain.

Under the guidance of the Magic Mirror, she could perfectly predict every move the dream giant made and act ahead of time. Naturally, it was impossible for the giant to land a hit on her.

This was despite the fact that any single dream giant was equivalent to at least a mid-level class rank transcendent!

Teleporting away and then flashing back, Olivia reappeared on the dream giant's other side and brought down another heavy Wrathful Slash.

Riiiip!

Another massive wound was torn across the dream giant's body.

The dream giant felt no pain and knew no anger. It simply turned again, swinging its giant hand at Olivia once more.

But in the next instant, Olivia vanished again.

At this moment, Olivia was like a ghost, rapidly shifting around the dream giant—sometimes behind it, sometimes to the left, sometimes to the right, sometimes slashing down from above, and sometimes sweeping at the target's legs from below.

Right now, she didn't look like a Sensate at all. No Sensate could possibly do what she was doing.

All of this, of course, was thanks to the King's Domain.

The King's Domain granted her the ability to teleport, allowing her to shift around her target endlessly. How was anyone supposed to counter that?

Of course, the Magic Mirror's predictions were also critical.

Olivia was currently running a double-cheat, which was the only reason the dream giant was utterly helpless against her.

In such a battle, she soon managed to literally hack the dream giant in front of her until it exploded.

At the same time, some of the other clergy members had defeated the dream giants they faced and were now free.

As soon as Olivia learned of this, she used the King's Domain's teleportation function to continue sending the freed clergy members to help the others.

The situation seemed to be under control.

Except...

"Is Dreamland Paradise's counterattack really this simple?" Olivia muttered.

She asked the Magic Mirror, but it could only tell her to stay on guard.

After all, it didn't know what was happening inside Paradise and couldn't precisely determine what would follow.

Olivia thought that maybe things really weren't that complicated. After all, the people from Dreamland Paradise didn't know she possessed something like the King's Domain. To them, deploying a large number of dream giants might have seemed like an overwhelmingly powerful and terrifying offensive.

Just as this thought crossed Olivia's mind, her expression suddenly changed.

She watched as several more dream giant silhouettes emerged in the distant sky.

'Mirror, mirror, report the situation.'

【The second wave of dream giants has appeared. They are located at...】

The Magic Mirror quickly provided an answer.

There was actually a second wave!

Olivia frowned, sensing that things were taking a turn for the worse. An increase in the number of dream giants was definitely not a good sign.

Gripping the King's Domain, she quickly made new arrangements for the clergy members.

While organizing them, she also charged toward the dream giants she could see, initiating a fierce battle.

...

The night in the South District was not peaceful.

Even though the clergy members tried not to cause a scene, their battles still disturbed many people.

Facing the dream giants, the clergy had no time to set up barriers; the battles had to erupt right where they were.

Fortunately, the residents of Kaliron were used to the occasional transcendent battle and had their own methods of self-preservation, so they weren't caught in the crossfire.

At this moment, in a square, the team led by Tilda Sterling had fallen into a crisis.

They weren't weak and had already dealt with one dream giant.

But as soon as that giant was defeated, several more dropped from the sky above them.

A total of five dream giants!

The arrival of so many giants shocked Tilda and her team, but they could only grit their teeth and meet them head-on.

However, it didn't take long for the situation to become grim.

Shortly after the clash began, the clergy members following Tilda were wounded and knocked to the ground one after another. Even Tilda herself was accidentally struck by a dream giant, coughing up a mouthful of blood.

"Olivia, can you hear me? We're no match for them, we need backup!"

Tilda shouted.

But there was no reply.

Olivia was also in the middle of a fight and couldn't attend to the situation in other areas.

Receiving no response, Tilda's heart sank. She could only steel herself and continue to dance around the five dream giants, barely managing to keep them distracted.
