Stunning!
The battle's progress and results left the clergy on the scene deeply shaken.
While some of their class ranks were not lower than Olivia's, the abilities she demonstrated were certainly not something they could compare to.
"Phew!"
After dealing with the dream giant before her, Olivia let out a long sigh of relief.
She then looked toward Tilda and the others, saying, "Go back to the cathedral first. Recover as quickly as possible and prepare to continue fighting. There are more dream giants than we imagined."
"Yes."
Tilda responded.
As a transcender and a chanting nun, she didn't find it strange at all to be ordered by Olivia; everything felt perfectly natural.
Olivia then used the King's Domain to send the people before her back to the cathedral.
Just as she finished teleporting them to the cathedral entrance, it was as if she thought of something. She quickly used the King's Domain again, employing its voice transmission function to contact someone else.
...
Inside the Daylight Cathedral.
As the administrative priest, Bryce Duncan was sitting in the Administrative Office, waiting for information.
He was in charge of administrative affairs, so he didn't need to go out and fight; he was responsible for logistical matters.
However, because Olivia was coordinating everything, he suddenly found himself with nothing to do, making him feel somewhat relaxed at the moment.
Suddenly, a voice reached Bryce's side: "Priest Bryce, it's me, Olivia. You can hear my voice, right?"
Bryce was startled and quickly said, "I can hear you. Do you have any instructions?"
Even this administrative priest's tone became exceptionally polite when facing Olivia.
He certainly couldn't treat Olivia like an ordinary deaconess.
What kind of deaconess would carry a rule-grade forbidden artifact at all times?
A forbidden artifact of this level invisibly elevated Olivia's status to a sufficiently high position.
Olivia actually couldn't hear what Bryce was saying; the King's Domain could only transmit her voice but couldn't let her hear the other side.
However, through the magic mirror, she could understand what Bryce said.
Olivia continued, "Priest Bryce, Dreamland Paradise has deployed many dream giants in reality. It's too difficult to handle them with only our personnel on the scene. If this continues, civilians might be in danger."
Many of the church's personnel had been taken into the Paradise to face the truly powerful members of Dreamland Paradise, which led to a shortage of manpower in the real world.
Upon hearing this, Bryce said, "I understand. I'll have everyone with combat capabilities take action, and I'll go out myself."
Olivia didn't hear what Bryce said at all and simply continued, "Previously, because the church introduced some new policies, many transcendent organizations were established, right? I believe it's necessary for the transcendents in these organizations to play their part. At a time like this when the Imperial Capital is under threat, they have no reason to stand by."
Once Olivia said this, Bryce understood.
In the past, these idle, wild transcendents were not within the church's consideration. Whenever a conflict occurred in Kaliron, it was enough if these transcendents didn't cause trouble; who would expect them to help solve problems?
But things were different now.
The transcendent organizations founded by these wild transcendents had already received official recognition. Correspondingly, they should be working for the church.
Bryce suddenly realized this. He had forgotten about it due to old habits, but now he understood completely.
"I'll send out the message immediately and have these people help deal with the trouble."
...
Olivia felt relieved after learning of Bryce's response through the magic mirror.
Many transcendent organizations had emerged recently. As long as these people helped deal with the dream giants, the threat posed by the giants would be manageable.
Next, she moved between various locations, dealing with the dream giants that the other clergy found difficult to handle, while occasionally asking the magic mirror to understand the current situation.
It turned out that having the other transcendent organizations help was a very correct move.
Throughout the South District, transcendents began to take action one after another, clashing with the dream giants.
Although the class ranks of most transcendents were relatively low and they couldn't deal with the dream giants alone, they could still play a small part when working together.
Of course, casualties were likely unavoidable.
But in a clash between transcendents, casualties were always inevitable.
All Olivia could do was teleport to various places as much as possible to save those who had a chance of being rescued.
The situation began to turn orderly. No matter how many dream giants there were, they were sufficiently suppressed.
'Magic mirror, magic mirror, can the problems in reality be resolved?'
Olivia murmured in her heart.
【Based on the assessment, it's hard to say.】
Olivia was speechless; it was as if the mirror had said nothing at all.
Fortunately, nothing heart-stopping happened after that.
As the numerous dream giants were dealt with, the South District returned to a state of stability.
Finally, the sky brightened.
As the first ray of morning light broke through the clouds and fell upon the South District, the exhausted clergy looked up, relieved smiles appearing on their faces.
Although dawn didn't necessarily mean everything was fully resolved, the bright sunlight always brought physical and mental relaxation, no matter the circumstances.
As it turned out, the matter had indeed been resolved.
Shortly after dawn, Olivia learned through the magic mirror that many of the clergy who had entered the Paradise had returned to the cathedral.
Upon hearing the news, Olivia immediately teleported back to the cathedral gates and went inside.
In the cathedral's front courtyard, Olivia saw a bustling crowd. Yet even among so many people, Julia's figure remained impossible to ignore.
This nun of outstanding strength and high status stood leisurely to the side. She wasn't talking to anyone, and no one went to bother her. She was like a flower growing on a cliff—beautiful and outstanding, yet unapproachable.
Olivia walked over. "Sister Julia... how... how did things go?"
Julia heard the voice and looked up, giving a slight smile. "Why do you look so nervous? Don't worry. Think on the bright side. Of course, we were victorious."
