Chapter 133 | Reincarnated as a Heretical Nun

Olivia was a bit speechless. If they booked the whole place, how would the people she arranged find her to cause trouble?

She thought that regardless of the Rose Legion's roots, they at least outwardly stood for the ideals of human dignity, freedom, and equality for all.

If that were the case, they shouldn't be booking the whole mountain, right?

Olivia immediately frowned and said, "Booking the whole place? That doesn't seem quite right. The scenery of Red Maple Hill only appears once a year. We shouldn't be the only ones able to appreciate such beauty; more people should have the right to enjoy the view."

Esme said dismissively, "For those who want to come to Red Maple Hill, I've arranged for people to give them a sum of money. They'll just take the money and leave happily. They won't care about this at all."

Giving money?

Wasn't the Rose Legion extremely short on cash?

Olivia was a bit speechless and couldn't help asking, "What if someone insists on seeing the scenery and doesn't want the money?"

"Then we'll just have to let them in. We don't force matters in that regard," Esme explained.

As for whether they would actually do that, the right of interpretation remained in her hands.

In her view, as long as they entered the mountain, Olivia wouldn't know what was happening outside. Even if people were actually driven away, Olivia wouldn't be any the wiser.

As for giving money?

Where would they get the money to give to others?

'Stella fits our organization's philosophy well, but she still hasn't learned how to apply it flexibly. But that's fine; everything is still under control.'

Esme felt that everything was proceeding exactly in the direction she wanted.

...

At Red Maple Hill, after Olivia and Esme arrived, they saw many people gathered at the foot of the mountain, driving away those who arrived.

Olivia took only a single glance before looking away, a small smile forming in her heart.

She had already spotted Madeline.

Since Madeline was here, the people from the Morning Light Cathedral had certainly arrived as well. However, because everyone was in plain clothes, she didn't know which ones they were.

'Their efficiency is indeed high. Next, I just need things to develop according to plan,' Olivia thought.

She and Esme walked straight into Red Maple Hill.

Just as they were entering, someone shouted, "On what grounds can they go in while we can't?"

The loud shout caused Olivia to pause.

Seeing this, Esme quickly said, "Don't pay those people any mind. There are always greedy people who won't leave even after taking money, wanting to get even more."

Olivia couldn't help but laugh inwardly upon hearing this.

Money?

She didn't know about the others, but how could the people from the Morning Light Cathedral possibly accept money? This woman was talking complete nonsense.

On the surface, however, Olivia smiled and said, "Let's see what these people are trying to say."

She turned around and headed straight for the foot of the mountain, and Esme had no choice but to follow.

At that moment, Olivia also saw the person who had just spoken.

It was a tall lady dressed casually, her expression cold and haughty, looking like someone who wouldn't bow to authority.

Seeing Olivia looking over, the lady raised her head and said, "I really can't stand people like you with a bit of money.

"Just because you have a little wealth, do you really think you're some kind of big shot?

"A place for an outing, and you actually choose to book the whole thing, barring others from entering.

"On what grounds?

"Today, even if you don't let me in, I'm going in anyway. I want to see how you plan to stop me!"

As soon as she finished speaking, the lady walked straight toward the mountain. This caused Esme's people—those guarding the foot of the mountain—to rush forward to block her.

But in the next moment...

The lady, who had been walking slowly and methodically, suddenly quickened her pace. With extremely agile movements, she charged forward and kicked the person at the very front, sending him flying.

The force of the kick was immense; a grown man was kicked away on the spot. Seeing this, the others who were about to step forward immediately stopped, not daring to approach.

Because anyone could see that this was not a force an ordinary person could kick with. Someone capable of such power was bound to be a transcendent!

The people Esme had brought were indeed not transcendents, so they were instantly intimidated, not daring to get closer to the violent lady.

Although Olivia frequently saw all kinds of transcendents due to her own profession, in reality, transcendents were not that easy to encounter. This group of people ultimately made up only a small minority.

"You dare to block the path without even a single transcendent? You should truly feel ashamed."

As the lady spoke, she continued walking into the mountain.

Seeing this, Esme's expression changed. She found this unexpected situation a bit of a headache.

While the others weren't transcendents, she certainly was.

But because of that, she realized that this stranger trying to force her way into Red Maple Hill was at least a sensate. Such a class rank was even higher than her own.

Because she was only a pilgrim.

The situation before her was not only a surprise but also extremely troublesome; it was no longer something she could handle.

'Damn it, where did this person come from? She's completely disrupted my plans.'

At this moment, Esme's mind raced, thinking about how to deal with this unexpected turn of events.

But before she could figure it out, Olivia took a step forward.

"Miss Stella?" Esme asked subconsciously.

Olivia gave a slight smile. "I think hitting people is wrong."

As she spoke, she walked toward the lady.

The lady spoke up at the right time. "You'd better be a transcendent stronger than me; otherwise, I'd like to see how you intend to stop me!"

At the same time, the lady pulled a simple small bow from her clothes. With a slight pull, an arrow automatically materialized on it, aiming at Olivia.

She was clearly a hunter!

Olivia was very satisfied with the other party's cooperation, and she subsequently raised her hand. "As you wish."

As soon as Olivia's words fell, a scorching aura immediately condensed in the area, giving everyone the illusion that they had instantly returned to a blistering summer.
