Chapter 196 | Reincarnated as a Heretical Nun

The magic mirror had already reached its own judgment regarding what kind of treatment Thales, Gerard, and Freya would eventually face.

Based on the answer, Olivia Melianne no longer needed to concern herself with those three.

No, that wasn't quite right, because that Gerard was not the real Gerard, but merely a spiritual clone.

Olivia, having teleported away from the ancient ruins, appeared in a small alley within the Main District.

This matter was not yet over; there was still one more thing she had to accomplish.

That was to eliminate Gerard's original body.

Yes, she still had to make a move against Gerard.

According to the magic mirror's judgment, while she would use the phantom demon in the ancient ruins to deal with Thales, she would also fall under Gerard's suspicion.

After all, Gerard knew exactly what his spiritual clone was experiencing. Under such circumstances, it would be difficult for him not to suspect Olivia.

This would lead to some unfavorable consequences for her future, so she had to go all the way and dispose of Gerard as well.

As long as all the relevant people were dead, the truth could be whatever she chose to paint it as. Only then would her position in the Rose Legion remain unaffected.

Thus, after teleporting from the ancient ruins, Olivia appeared directly near the house where Gerard's original body was located.

For a long time now, Gerard had not appeared in his original body; those who appeared in public were all spiritual clones, showing how exceptionally cautious he was.

Aside from Gerard himself, no one knew where his original body was hidden, not even Thales.

But Gerard would never have imagined that there was something called the magic mirror, which could know anything happening in Kaliron. Naturally, it could also know where his original body was staying. As long as he remained in Kaliron, he had nowhere to hide.

Olivia had now reached her destination.

Beside the alley was an ordinary-looking house. Only people with a relatively low standard of living would reside in such a place.

Who could have imagined that a noble born as a Baron would live in a place like this?

Olivia took out King's Domain and used its partitioning function to silently separate this house from the surrounding space, forming a cage.

After completing this, Olivia had no intention of stepping forward. She raised her hand, lightly touched Elemental Praise, and quickly channeled elemental power.

In the next moment, extremely violent elemental power gathered together, transforming into a massive fireball that fell from the sky with a roar, crashing into the house ahead.

"Boom!"

Accompanied by a loud explosion, the large house was instantly destroyed in the blazing fire, as billowing smoke and the scene of the blast spread outward.

"Stella, what exactly do you think you're doing?"

Within the area where fire and smoke intertwined, Gerard's voice rang out.

As a Domainist and a Shield Guard, it was naturally impossible for Gerard to die just like that.

Holding a shield that radiated a silver-white light, he stepped out from the burning flames one pace at a time.

His gaze was fixed intensely on Olivia, as if he were meeting her for the first time, his eyes filled with nothing but scrutiny.

There was a certain connection between Gerard's original body and his spiritual clones; everything a clone experienced was known to the original body.

Therefore, Gerard was perfectly aware of what had just happened in the ancient ruins.

He was just frowning over Olivia's disappearance and the fact that he had been trapped in an illusion when he was suddenly attacked by Olivia.

He didn't know why Olivia, who was just in the ancient ruins, could appear here in the blink of an eye, let alone how she had found his original body, but a very bad feeling had already surfaced in his heart.

Having his well-hidden original body discovered was clearly not something that could put him at ease.

Especially since the opponent had already launched an attack the moment she appeared.

He could no longer connect the Stella before him with the Stella in his memory; his heart was filled with a strong sense of absurdity.

After all, this was someone he had previously thought very highly of.

"I promoted you so much, why are you making a move against me?" Gerard questioned.

Although Olivia's displayed strength was only that of a Transcender, since she dared to take the initiative to deal with him, his status as a Domainist could hardly give him any sense of security.

"The Church was also very good to you, so why did you choose to betray the Church?" Olivia countered.

Someone from the Church?

Gerard's pupils constricted, a sense of being caught off guard washing over him. He had never expected that this Stella actually came from the Church.

He instinctively looked around, strongly suspecting that other members of the Church were hidden nearby.

After all, if the Church wanted to deal with him, they wouldn't just send Stella alone, would they?

Regardless, Gerard activated his domain immediately.

The domain rule he established was that no elemental power was allowed to appear within this area.

When the domain formed, the flames that were originally burning suddenly went out, and even the smoke quickly dissipated without a trace.

In the blink of an eye, the area became empty and clear.

Olivia wasn't surprised by this. She already knew exactly what methods Gerard would use to attack.

So, just as Gerard expanded his domain, Olivia also took out Cross Grace, and then her figure flashed as she vanished from the spot.

When she reappeared, she was already behind Gerard, and the Cross Grace in her hand swung down heavily.

"Bang!"

Accompanied by a crisp sound, a protective barrier surfaced on the exterior of Gerard's body, forcefully blocking Olivia's sudden attack. The barrier only shook slightly from the impact.

Then Gerard turned around unhurriedly. "Stella, is this the only way you can attack? How could someone like you possibly defeat me? If there are others hiding in the shadows, let them come out."
