High in the sky, thunder flashed and silver light flickered incessantly.
Olivia stepped into the clouds, letting the lightning strike her body, yet she remained unharmed.
As transcendents increase in class rank, their physical fitness often naturally strengthens along with it.
Unknowingly, a transcendent who has reached the Skywalker class rank can reach a terrifying level of physical strength, even without using any abilities.
...
While Olivia was training high in the sky, many people noticed her situation.
For example, Atticus, who had been keeping a close eye on her.
This Protagonist of the Era, who sat in the embassy always surrounded by a dozen women, was looking up at the rolling thunderclouds in the sky.
"Advanced to Skywalker? How interesting. This way, dealing with you won't be considered bullying, will it?"
Atticus spoke to himself.
Someone nearby asked him, "My Lord, do we need to issue a challenge to the Radiant Light Church? They won't be able to use their previous excuse to answer us now."
"Of course. Go and issue the challenge immediately. Now that everyone is a Skywalker, what reason could they have to refuse me this time?" Atticus nodded without hesitation.
He had long wanted to challenge Olivia, but the church had previously refused him on the grounds that their class ranks were different.
But now, their class ranks were the same.
"Actually, I'll go myself, lest you all get fooled again."
Just after giving his orders, Atticus stood up and stretched his limbs.
As soon as he stood up, the dozen women surrounding him came forward to massage his shoulders, rub his arms, and thump his back, serving him at every moment.
He smiled and said, "If I personally arrive at the Radiant Light Church, they'll have to show some respect. I'm not that easy to refuse."
As the Protagonist of the Era for the Earth Church and a Skywalker himself, he was also a high-level figure within the Earth Church.
He then led his people out of the embassy and headed toward the nearest Morning Light Cathedral.
He didn't choose to fly directly into the sky to find Olivia because her presence in the sky had also caught the attention of other transcendents in Kaliron.
Some had tried to fly toward Olivia, but they were quickly intercepted by people from the Radiant Light Church.
Clearly, the Radiant Light Church did not allow anyone to approach Olivia casually, so he could only go to the Radiant Light Church first to discuss the matter.
During this process, his heart was full of anticipation.
Olivia had defeated other Protagonists of the Era; as long as he defeated her, he would remain the most dazzling one among the many Protagonists of the Era.
He had always felt that there were too many Protagonists of the Era.
What was a Protagonist of the Era?
The most outstanding performer in an era was the Protagonist of the Era.
That was to say, there should only be one Protagonist of the Era.
But what was the current situation? Could existences like Protagonists of the Era appear one after another? Could they still be called Protagonists of the Era?
Although many said this era was different from previous ones, with geniuses emerging in an endless stream and creating a situation where many Protagonists of the Era existed simultaneously.
But Atticus did not agree with such a statement in his heart.
He felt that no matter what kind of era it was, there should only be one Protagonist of the Era. and the Protagonist of the Era of this era should undoubtedly be him!
With such confidence, Atticus arrived at the Morning Light Cathedral.
Because of Atticus's special status, Sybil came to meet him personally.
"What do you want?" Sybil asked very directly when she saw Atticus.
In fact, she could roughly guess the purpose of Atticus's visit to the Morning Light Cathedral.
Atticus smiled and pointed his finger at the sky, saying, "I've noticed, you know. That Olivia is already a Skywalker, the same class rank as me. Under these circumstances, there should be no problem with me challenging her, right? It wouldn't be a case of anyone bullying anyone else, would it?"
Sybil looked up at the sky upon hearing this.
Then, she said to Atticus, "Olivia only advanced to Skywalker a short while ago. Although she is now the same class rank as you, she has, after all, only just advanced. Do you really think such a fight counts as a fair one?"
Atticus said as a matter of course, "Naturally. I think it's quite fair. Because among the methods used by people of our level, our own abilities do not play a decisive role; our uniqueness is the key to victory."
He spoke with a smile again, hoping to challenge Olivia and wanting to fight in a public setting.
Obviously, he wanted to use Olivia as a stepping stone to build his own reputation.
As for Atticus's thoughts, how could Sybil not see through them?
"We'll talk about it later. Wait until Olivia has stayed in the Skywalker class for a bit longer and familiarized herself with the power of this class before we discuss this. It's too early right now."
"I think now is just right."
"What does it matter to us if you think it's right? I think it's inappropriate. Do you understand what I mean?"
"But I feel..."
"I don't care what you think; I only care what I think."
Sybil directly interrupted Atticus's words.
Atticus had come to challenge repeatedly, and his intention was to step on the Radiant Light Church. Sybil naturally had no need to be polite.
"Leave immediately. Vanish from my sight. I don't want to see you again." Sybil's tone already carried obvious dissatisfaction.
Facing Atticus, she didn't need to restrain her emotions.
After all, she herself was a genuine high-level figure of the Radiant Light Church, an Evolver. Why should she be polite to Atticus?
Seeing this, Atticus couldn't help but shrug.
"To think that such a massive Radiant Light Church would actually be afraid of my existence. It's really..."
"Hmph, since you like challenging our church's Protagonists of the Era so much, how about I take your challenge to our Pope? Our Pope is also a Protagonist of the Era." Sybil sneered.
Atticus was somewhat speechless upon hearing this.
"Is it necessary to speak like that? If I challenge the Pope, would that be fair?"
"As a veteran Skywalker, you challenge someone who has just advanced to Skywalker. Did you ever feel that was unfair? Then why do you feel it's unfair when you're asked to challenge the Pope?" Sybil didn't indulge Atticus at all. "Does this count as a double standard? Hah, the Earth Church is indeed the Earth Church; some people's skin is thicker than the earth itself."
"It's fine if you talk about me, but don't bring the Earth Church into it." Atticus was also a bit unhappy.
