Chapter 262 | Reincarnated as a Heretical Nun

After the blonde lady extended her invitation to Olivia, she also introduced herself and her companions.

“We are an adventure group from the Kingdom of Dawn. We’re actually quite a top-tier group back home; perhaps you’ve heard of us? We are the Dawn Adventurer Group. And I am Rosalind Balfour, the Captain of the Dawn Adventurer Group.”

Rosalind spoke with a face full of pride as she mentioned her group.

The Kingdom of Dawn, a top-tier adventure group...

Olivia, of course... had never heard of them.

This was her first time hearing of the Dawn Adventurer Group, though she did know of the Kingdom of Dawn; it was a kingdom vassal to the Moriah Empire.

Three great empires stood tall upon the continent.

Beyond them, many kingdoms and duchies existed, all of which were affiliated with the three empires, together forming the realms of humanity.

Though she hadn't heard of them, Olivia tentatively asked the Magic Mirror and received an answer.

【The Dawn Adventurer Group is the number one adventure group in the Kingdom of Dawn. Its captain is indeed Rosalind Balfour, who is said to have one foot in the threshold of an Evolver and possesses quite remarkable strength.】

【The reason they became the top group in the Kingdom of Dawn is that they frequently explore God's Ruins and possess considerable luck, having obtained a fair number of gains within the ruins, which allowed them to grow sufficiently.】

After learning about the Dawn Adventurer Group, Olivia became thoughtful.

From the looks of it, Rosalind and her team had a sufficient understanding of the conditions within God's Ruins?

Seeing Rosalind looking at her expectantly, Olivia replied, “I have a specific purpose for entering God's Ruins, so I cannot simply wander around with you.”

Rosalind smiled and said, “That doesn’t matter. We don’t have a specific objective ourselves; we were originally just going to move around and look for whatever we could find. It wouldn't be a problem for us to just follow you.”

“In that case, we can move together,” Olivia nodded.

Once Olivia’s joining was confirmed, Rosalind’s smile grew even wider. She then turned to the people around her and asked a question.

“We’ve waited this long and only one person has arrived. Why don’t we start moving now? I feel like if we keep waiting, we won’t find anyone else.”

The people there didn't all belong to the Dawn Adventurer Group. Some, like Olivia, had entered God's Ruins and chosen to cooperate after speaking with the Dawn Adventurer Group, so they had stayed behind.

Hearing Rosalind say this, they all nodded one after another, feeling that it was indeed time to set off.

These people now stepped forward, greeting Olivia and introducing themselves.

As a nun of the Radiant Light Church, Olivia’s social status was naturally not low. No matter where she went, it was difficult for her to be ignored.

“My name is Aaron, from the Varian Empire. It’s a pleasure to meet you.”

“I’m from the Southern Storm Sea. You can just call me Orb. Glad to know you.”

“You must have heard of Holy Sword Garden, right? That’s right, I come from that city. I’m Giselle.”

“...”

Listening to everyone’s introductions, Olivia couldn't help but feel a bit sentimental. An alternate space like this was truly miraculous; people from all over the world could actually meet in such a place.

When Olivia mentioned she was from Kaliron, even Rosalind leaned in curiously.

“Kaliron? It must be very lively in Kaliron lately, right? Many people suspect the Church has mastered a means of immortality and have gone there to find out more.”

“There is no such thing as a means of immortality. It’s all a misunderstanding, a frame-up by some enemies against our Church to put us at the center of the storm,” Olivia said, shaking her head.

Rosalind couldn't help but laugh upon hearing this. “I also don't think such a thing as immortality exists. That is a divine authority belonging to the deities; how could we simply covet it?"

“So, after hearing about the matters in Kaliron, many people were shouting and clamoring to go there for a piece of the pie. I didn’t plan on going at all. If I have that time, I’d rather explore God's Ruins more.”

The surrounding crowd nodded in agreement.

They all expressed their own views on the matters in Kaliron, and similarly, they did not believe that any such thing as immortality existed.

This was normal; if some people believed in something, there would always be others who did not.

And those who could appear in God's Ruins at this time were, in all probability, people who did not believe in such things.

As they spoke, Rosalind shifted the topic back to Olivia herself.

“Oh, right, I haven’t asked yet. How should we address you?”

“You can just call me Stella.”

Olivia did not reveal her real name. After all, her real name was quite famous now.

It was normal for these people not to recognize her by sight since they had never met her.

But if she said the name Olivia, it would be hard to guarantee that these people wouldn't know who she was.

“Sister Stella, since you dared to come to explore God's Ruins alone, you probably don’t follow the Priest path, right? Are you on the Arbiter path?” Rosalind asked again.

“That’s right, I am an Arbiter,” Olivia nodded without hesitation.

“Just as I expected. By the way, Sister Stella, what is it you’re looking for in God's Ruins? Is it convenient to talk about it now?”

Compared to the others, Rosalind was clearly more curious about Olivia, mostly walking by her side and talking with her.

This wasn't strange, as those from the Radiant Light Church were inherently somewhat aloof and rarely cooperated with others. To outsiders, they always carried a hint of mystery.

Olivia replied with a smile, “Actually, I’m just here to investigate some matters. I only need to go to a designated location and take a look.”

Both Sweet Dream and Nightmare had provided her with accurate routes, letting her know which direction to take after entering God's Ruins to find the area where Rose first appeared.

At this moment, even if she walked at the very front to lead the way, the others were merely following by her side.

The group chatted as they walked, moving quickly through God's Ruins.

Before long, the mist ahead became dense.

Seeing this, Rosalind’s footsteps came to a halt immediately. “Wait, there’s a bit too much mist here. It gives me a bad feeling. What do you all think?”
