Chapter 137 | Reincarnated as a Prince in a Twisted Fairy Tale World

When Faust humiliatingly admitted his true thoughts, Yusewood did not heap further criticism upon her brother for his "filthy ideas."

She quietly gazed at the man before her, who was constantly emitting an aura that made females feel safe and intoxicated.

The silver-gray-haired princess stood on her tiptoes, reaching out to stroke the top of Faust's head.

"Faust, are you... so starved for love? Is that why you seek solace so tirelessly?"

Starved for love? No, no, no, I didn't mean that; I was simply following my instincts.

Faust was about to refute Yusewood's fallacy, but when he looked up, he met an expression in his royal sister's eyes that he had almost never seen before.

Warm, soft, and even pitying—the eternal frost in those sage-blue eyes was melting away.

'They say an elder sister is like a mother; does anyone else understand this feeling?'

Faust almost called her mother. After all, his royal sister's figure was truly exceptional. Although it was a step below Lola's sheer provocation to masculinity, it was definitely enough to set off his fetish radar.

It was just that Yusewood had been too cold in the past, appearing as if she didn't belong to the mundane world. Being able to stand near her for two minutes without being scolded was already a blessing, let alone experiencing the warmth of an all-affirming doting teacher.

Could such a strict royal sister actually show such a maternal expression?

'How delicious!'

Faust immediately swallowed the explanation he was going to give and instead lowered his gaze.

"It's like this. Everything I do is essentially for peace of mind, to... receive love and find happiness. I must become stronger—strong enough to protect the ones I love and those who love me."

Faust had long ago summarized the formulaic patterns for adding buffs to himself in this fairy tale world; he could step into character in a second, as easy as breathing.

Except for that monster of a Faust-fanatic, Viviana, no one else could hope to see through him!

Hearing this, Yusewood simply allowed the prince to rest his head against her chest. The thin shirt did nothing to obstruct the sensation. The silver-gray-haired princess didn't seem to care that the man before her was a "lewd and shameless beast" at the moment, gently stroking Faust's cheek.

"So, your tireless efforts to seize land and spread your seeds everywhere... were all for this reason?"

Wait, how can you say it like that? Who is spreading... well, it's not like I can really deny it.

Faust lowered his head, fully enjoying this rare gentleness, and said:

"If it weren't to protect Lola Mama, I would have been able to walk away long ago. But as long as it is for the sake of my precious lover, I am willing to pay any price. It's just that along the way, I have received too much favor; power and titles are merely byproducts."

Seeing the prince speak so sincerely, Yusewood actually let the corners of her mouth turn up slightly.

"You've finally regained a bit of your former cuteness, Faust."

"Give the spell mark to me. I will set it up near the tower."

"Thank you, royal sister."

Having achieved his goal, Faust finally breathed a sigh of relief.

He didn't lift his head immediately. It was rare to be so intimate with the royal sister he had been estranged from for so long, and Faust wasn't about to spoil the moment by breaking the interaction.

Only when Yusewood proactively let go did he know when to stop, standing up and saying:

"Then, I shall take my leave first?"

Just as Faust was about to exit, Yusewood suddenly spoke up to stop him.

"By the way, if you truly need comfort."

"I mean, not that kind of lewd desire, but if you want someone to listen to your heart, or if you're looking for a quiet harbor to shelter in."

The silver-gray-haired princess knelt on the carpet, brushing a lock of hair behind her ear and patting her rounded thighs encased in black tights.

"Then, you can come to me..."

Who are you?! You're not my royal sister at all!

Yusewood would never suggest a lap pillow!

Faust's pupils shook with shock. After a few moments of daze, he nodded and said:

"I understand..."

Faust walked out of the princess's palace, lost in thought the entire way.

The change in the silver-gray-haired princess's attitude was truly too difficult to predict. One moment she was looking at Faust like an unevolved ape, and the next she had turned into a kind elder sister wanting to coax her brother to sleep.

Even if a woman's heart is like a needle at the bottom of the sea, it should still follow basic logic.

Wait, could my royal sister also be a 【witch】?

A sudden thought arose in the prince's mind.

Faust was becoming a bit paranoid, feeling that every peerless beauty around him was a suspected 【witch】. With Yusewood's beauty, she definitely qualified to be a 【witch】, and her mysterious behavior truly baffled the prince.

【Even if your constitution naturally attracts witches, it shouldn't be to this extent. Your sister is not a witch, she cannot be a witch. This is the only thing I can confirm】

Mephisto, hearing Faust's constant muttering, gave him a professional judgment.

"Though I also think it's unlikely, why are you so certain?"

【Do you know? That king, your father, actually had no right to receive my favor】

"I figured as much."

Faust wasn't surprised. Knowing how much of a veteran Mephisto was, he also believed his expensive foster father was not qualified to be chosen by Mephisto.

Yes, fairies indeed granted kings the authority to establish nations, but such tasks were usually handled by junior fairies. Of course, veterans did it too, but Mephisto... he likely hadn't performed the duties of a fairy in a very long time.

Faust had already faintly sensed how lazy and arrogant his contractor was.

Despite how Mephisto could joke about anything with him, this fairy's perspective was terrifyingly high. He didn't speak to other living beings at all; it seemed only Faust was worthy of talking to him.

Even if he did, it was with a god-like majesty and pressure. Mortals could only crawl and tremble the moment Mephisto revealed his presence.

【The reason I sought out that mediocre hero and left my mark was for his daughter... I originally intended to sign a contract with her. If she were a witch, I wouldn't have even entertained the thought】

【But then you appeared, so Yusewood didn't matter anymore】

Faust asked curiously, "Oh? What kind of talent does my royal sister have to be noticed by you?"

【It is precisely because even I cannot see through her that I find her interesting. I seek the unknown, the exceptions that can break common sense... However, no matter what specialty she possesses, it is insignificant compared to you】
