Chapter 139 | Reincarnated as a Prince in a Twisted Fairy Tale World

The galactic warship was fully assembled, and naturally, it had to be launched with force to deliver heavy blows to the disobedient neighbors.

However, while it was called a heavy blow, unless it was a vassal who was dead set on defiance, Faust usually just drove 【Zilliax】 to the opponent's doorstep. With 【windfury】, 【rush】, and 【poisonous】, he would shatter the city walls with a single punch.

Then, the Great Titan would step onto the ruins, with the arcs of 【Great Thunder】 leaping across its metallic frame and piercing through the palace domes. Facing the trembling royal family of the vassal state, he would smile and say:

"While I was away, you stray dogs were acting quite arrogant."

Usually, after this sequence, the other party would be scared to tears, quickly kneeling and begging for mercy, welcoming the royal army with food and drink.

Even those who dared to resist to the end had their opposition crushed with the momentum of a thunderbolt.

Faust wasn't worried about being too crude; he even enjoyed the pleasure of lording over these kingdoms. For some reason, whenever he performed such actions, he felt a sense of total satisfaction.

It was as if... this was exactly what he was supposed to do.

Faust even felt the impulse to set fire to the palaces of the resistors and harness the kings to his chariot like beasts.

The little stories Yusewood wrote were truly harmful, causing the prince to unconsciously mimic them.

But he ultimately restrained himself; things couldn't be done in a way that was too villainous. After all, he still had to uphold the themes of love and beauty.

So Faust settled for the next best thing: he only imprisoned the resistors in cages and made their consorts serve him in person while wearing maid outfits.

It was an imitation of the story of the prisoner's lightning.

Don't misunderstand; Faust didn't do anything indecent. It was just normal tea-serving and water-pouring.

It was just that... when the consorts, who were originally filled with shame and indignation, saw that the one they were to serve was such a handsome prince, the changes that occurred were truly intriguing.

And observing the reactions of the powerless husbands in the cages was a sight that never got old.

【Dear Faust, do you know how many fairies have fallen to dragonfall because of people like you?】

"Don't talk nonsense. I say this is increasing my path of conquest experience. Does anyone understand?"

Faust would never admit to being such a terrible guy, defending himself by saying:

"As a conqueror, one must leave some sort of mark on the conquered. Usually, it's slaughter and violence, but I am kind-hearted and don't plan on a massacre. Instead, I'll just leave a mark of shame."

【Is that so? Then you are very kind-hearted indeed.】

Mephistopheles expressed its understanding.

As for why Faust could be so arrogant? Heh, in this fairy tale world filled with small countries, a king itself wasn't particularly rare or noble, especially in the case of tiny nations.

Calling them village chiefs might be an exaggeration, but calling them city lords was certainly no overstatement.

Funny enough, although the Qingxi Kingdom was very young, its national strength was not at the bottom tier; it could even be considered powerful.

Because the founding monarch was still alive! Compared to other nations that grew weaker with each generation, it truly could be called "deeply rooted."

Under such a vast disparity in power, the only reason it hadn't become a world of chaos was that the kingdoms followed principles.

You had to have a legitimate reason; you couldn't wage an unjust war.

In other words, you needed a claim, and you couldn't forge it; it had to be a genuine, serious claim.

And after achieving the objective of the claim, one was expected to ensure the life and safety of the loser as much as possible.

The vassal states breaking away from Midwinter's control was actually a welcome opportunity, because re-establishing vassalage terms was a matter of course.

By subduing subordinates with force, the new treaties would inevitably be more stringent. Thanks to the history of the past hundreds and thousands of years, Midwinter could unscrupulously deploy troops to the surrounding areas under the name of "re-establishing subordinate relations."

What do you call "since ancient times"?

Just like that, they swept through with irresistible force. After Midwinter's reconquest team took another city, they stationed their troops there.

At night, within the magnificent palace, Faust and the witches held a banquet.

At the candlelight dinner, Selena swirled her goblet. Snow White's peerlessly beautiful face was flushed with a rosy hue. She propped her cheek with one hand, her eyes hazy as she said:

"What's wrong? Is there no entertainment tonight?"

"The king here was very sensible. He surrendered as soon as we broke through the city."

Faust rested his head in Lola's embrace and replied, "I can't just capture and humiliate them when they haven't done anything wrong, can I? What, are you disappointed?"

The black-haired beauty arched an eyebrow. "Heh, what do I have to be disappointed about? This is clearly the kind of play you like. I think it's you who feels unsatisfied because you couldn't indulge your twisted tastes, isn't it?"

It actually was! Especially when he didn't have to worry about his companions' reactions and could release his true nature.

If Yusewood were here, she certainly wouldn't let Faust act so recklessly.

But the women traveling with Faust... Viviana and Lola went without saying; one was filled with fanatical admiration and worship, and the other with endless pampering and dependence. It was impossible for them to stop Faust from acting out.

Mystoria didn't care about such things, and even Selena, who loved bickering with Faust the most... didn't care either. She even found it quite interesting.

Of course, this was also because Faust really was just watching and hadn't actually engaged in any cuckoldry, otherwise Selena would definitely be unhappy.

"Besides..."

Selena licked her cherry lips, a smile of anticipation appearing on her truly magnificent face.

"It doesn't matter if there's an opening act at the banquet. The main event comes afterward."

The subtext was self-evident.

The so-called honeymoon phase meant wishing to be merged into the other's body twenty-four hours a day.

Especially when a suppressed 【witch】 collided with the 【Great Thunder】 of Faust, a powerful chemical reaction was produced.

The strongest against the strongest, greed against greed; they were well-matched rivals, like a brilliant general meeting a talented lieutenant.

Selena had to say, regarding the electric rod, it was comfortable.

Faust also had to say, regarding the sisters combo, it was comfortable.

"Selena..."

Lola spoke then. While stroking Faust's hair and cheek, she said to the Princess of Midwinter:

"You haven't participated in these past few battles. Have you mastered the spells I taught you? Have you made any progress on the path of the warlock? The reason I agreed to let you come along was in the hope that you would grow through actual combat."

As soon as the queen finished speaking, Selena's smile froze.

Clearly, she had completely forgotten. Every time she said she would work hard, she ended up rolling in the sheets with Faust every night. In such a mental state, how could she settle down to study?

"I have been misled by wine and lust. I cannot continue like this."

Selena's face turned serious as she slammed her wine glass onto the ground.

"From this day forward, I quit drinking!"

Lola didn't buy it and said indifferently:

"Until you master those spells, you shall remain celibate."

"Lola!"

Selena pounded the table, her almond eyes wide with anger.

"To say you want to keep him all to yourself in such a high-sounding way! Have you forgotten who helped share the burden when you were crying and begging for mercy?! You traitor!"
