Yusewood looked down, stunned, at Faust resting on her lap, who seemed truly exhausted.
The morning light traced the sharp lines of the prince's face. His deep, steady breathing made it seem as if he were truly seeking a moment of peace beside a sister he trusted.
The sensation of being clung to left the silver-gray haired princess momentarily dazed, unable to distinguish whether she was in reality or still within a script.
Yusewood reached out, her hand landing softly atop Faust's head.
As her fingers brushed through his smooth black hair, feeling the warmth radiating against her skin, the princess's movements were awkward and stiff, yet carried a cautious tenderness she herself had not noticed.
She said nothing, simply maintaining her posture, while deep within her sage-blue eyes, a storm of turbulent emotions surged.
Could it be that I overwrote this script into reality? That should not be possible.
Or perhaps... the page of notes Faust took away allowed him to enter my script world through it?
If the power of a script overwriting reality were to leak, it would indeed be possible to pull others into a dream.
With Yusewood's intellect, she quickly deduced the most plausible truth.
But the problem remained... does Faust know what happened inside the dream?
Although, judging by Faust's words, he did not seem to remember much, Yusewood knew this royal brother of hers too well; he likely spoke few honest words, and even if he did remember, he could very well be fishing for a confession.
If she were careless and let a flaw show, Faust would absolutely pounce and tear into her like a wild dog that had caught the scent of blood.
Facing a Faust who was neither cute nor devoid of aggression, she could not afford to reveal a single weakness.
Therefore, the silver-gray haired princess spoke with great caution: "If you wish to pour out your troubles to me, then please do so. I will embrace all of your dark fantasies."
A classic case of the villain making the first accusation.
Faust was currently enjoying the feel of Yusewood's smooth thighs and nearly laughed at her remark. The prince wanted to see his royal sister's expression... but he could not see it.
In the dream world, he had rested his head on Yusewood's lap many times, but back then, in his small boy's body, he would be blinded whenever he opened his eyes.
In fact, it was the same now; his field of vision was obscured by the grand treasure chest, and he had to tilt his head slightly just to catch a glimpse of Yusewood's beauty.
Faust weighed his words carefully and said:
"Royal Sister, after waking from the dream, I found myself wondering: when did we become like strangers?"
"Like strangers... that is not quite so exaggerated."
Yusewood said softly, "I simply... do not appreciate your methods. Your thoughts are too many, too cluttered, and too vulgar. Faust, do you not have any higher pursuits?"
Not really. Although he had indeed abandoned 'high-minded' interests in favor of beauty, power, and glory, that was hardly something for her to lecture him about.
Was the 'highest pursuit' Yusewood spoke of simply being raised according to her whims? That was indeed quite high.
Faust did not hold back, suppressing his laughter as he said:
"Ah, of course I have fantasized about it. About not having to think at all, acting spoiled in my sister's embrace, listening to her words, and becoming a hero respected by all."
"!!!"
Yusewood's sage-blue pupils dilated sharply. She no longer held onto any delusions; Faust's words meant he remembered everything that happened in the script!
Suddenly, the silver-gray haired princess felt so ashamed and annoyed she wanted to crawl into a hole. Her ultimate fantasies had been witnessed by the very person involved, and he had even experienced them personally. What could she possibly say now to salvage her dignified image in Faust's mind?
Seeing this, Faust chuckled and sighed:
"But I would not run away like that. After all, no one would harbor such fantasies about their most beloved kin, would they? That would be truly disgusting."
Refreshing! Simply refreshing!
After being executed so many times by his royal sister's gaze—which treated him like a bug or filth—and being insulted by her sharp tongue for so long, he had finally found an opportunity to treat Faust with his own medicine!
Although there was a vast difference between the two—one was merely amusing himself in his head, while the other had actually done it—that did not stop Faust from dragging her down with him, fiercely attacking the royal sister who held herself to a higher moral standard.
"Guh..."
Just kill me now!
Yusewood clenched her fists, her delicate body trembling. A flushed red crept up her fair, slender neck and cheeks; she was blushing to the absolute limit.
She desperately wanted to stand up and chase Faust away, but she could not bear to part with the lap pillow.
This is it! This expression of extreme shame and helplessness—this is exactly what I wanted to see!
The cold, fairy-like maiden broke her composure in an instant. If only she would add a little 'ho-ho-ho' on top, it would be perfect.
Slurp—it is simply delicious!
The twisted sense of satisfaction in Faust's heart reached its peak as he watched his royal sister's expression with great interest.
But the prince also understood the value of moderation, so he quickly eased the atmosphere, proactively offering her a way out:
"Actually, even if such a thing were true, it would not be strange, because I did it too."
"Hm?"
Yusewood seemed to grasp at a life-saving straw, meeting the prince's reddish-brown eyes.
Faust shrugged and said:
"I cannot help it. After all, I am so obsessed with beauty, and your appearance is like the bright moon in the night, the star of the morning, making one unable to stop themselves from yearning for you. I truly cannot control the darkness within my heart."
"In the past, I could not face such filth, but after last night's dream, I realized it is not necessarily a bad thing. Perhaps I should change the way I think."
Holding his royal sister's weakness in his hand, Faust directly hinted:
"If we could continue to dream like that in the future, it would be wonderful. That way, our relationship could go back to being as close as it once was, right?"
"........."
A threat, an absolute threat!
But, it was also a temptation.
The sharp-witted silver-gray haired princess naturally heard the man's subtext. She sighed and said:
"Faust... in the future, I will write some other things. When the time comes, I shall have you read them, just as you did when you were young."
Good, good, good! My royal sister was indeed hiding something good!
Hand over the secret manuals now!
Having obtained a satisfying promise, Faust closed his eyes, resting on the maiden's plump and resilient lap.
And the silver-gray haired princess, as if venting, fiercely ruffled the prince's hair, before slowly combing it back into place, strand by strand.
...
In the following weeks, before Faust could wait for the dungeon Yusewood was constructing, he received an invitation from abroad.
The 【Sacred Alliance】 invited Faust to join them, officially becoming a member of the coalition.
"Ha, it finally arrived."
After receiving the invitation, Faust stretched happily:
"It was worth the effort of expanding my influence; I have finally earned a seat at the table."
This so-called Sacred Alliance was the anti-imperial encirclement network organized across the continent for the purpose of slaying dragons.
Being accepted into this organization was, for Faust, the mark of being truly recognized.
