Chapter 235 | Reincarnated as a Prince in a Twisted Fairy Tale World

Facing the unavoidable teasing from his contract fairy, Faust immediately retorted:

“What are you talking about? What are you talking about? I am pure love through and through!”

“Can't you tell? I don't even care much about power anymore; I'm wholeheartedly focused on enjoying happiness and peace. In short, my brain has been completely upgraded!”

【Is packaging debauchery and unrestrained indulgence as progress really an upgrade? But if I must say, your current state is actually quite good.】

Faust truly didn't care about his gains or losses in terms of power and wealth anymore, though he remained obsessed with the title of Overlord.

But vanity... wasn't a entirely negative personality trait.

Feeling a bit unaccustomed to the rare absence of his lovers by his side, Faust set up a small altar on the ship and sacrificed a mark of heroic valor and a mark of strategic foresight he had obtained from the trial to Mephisto.

After feeling the power and pressure of a true dragon at close range, the prince regent was quite looking forward to the contract fairy's dragon transformation.

Just then, Alkin found him and invited Faust for a night drink.

It turned out she had discovered a fully equipped small bar inside the floating ship. The dark, solid wood bar counter was polished smooth and warm, with various wine bottles arranged neatly on the surface.

Vintage brass chandeliers hung from the ceiling, emitting a warm and soft glow.

Behind the bar, Alkin wore a loose white shirt that was filled out by her shapely figure without a single wrinkle. Her sleeves were rolled up to her elbows, revealing slender, fair forearms.

The hem of the shirt was casually tucked into dark trousers, with a belt loosely fastened around her waist, making her slender waist look even more delicate.

Her long silver hair was tied up high, cascading behind her shoulders with a few strands falling over her forehead. Her wolf ears shimmered softly under the warm yellow light, twitching occasionally, while her fluffy tail wagged happily behind her.

Faust sat at the counter. Even without observing closely, he could tell the white wolf girl was in a very good mood.

As Alkin mixed drinks, she chatted casually:

“That Imperial Princess really managed to provoke everyone. The thought of Faust being snatched away and bullied by a wicked woman makes them unable to eat or sleep in peace.”

Faust nodded. Selena and Viviana were indeed almost driven to tears, looking like helpless wives in front of Artedinis.

“But you don't seem very worried.”

Alkin raised her face, her handsome features full of confidence and pride. She smiled and said:

“I have the confidence to protect you. If one cannot even protect their own lover, then how can they talk about embracing a brilliant and magnificent life?”

“Let the storm rage even more fiercely! Just the thought of defending my love from such an arrogant enemy makes me tremble with excitement!”

That was truly a speech in Alkin's style.

Among the three witches Faust had bonded with, although all were undoubtedly beloved at first sight, their ways of interacting were completely different.

As the childhood friend who knew him best, Viviana's expression of love was the heaviest.

She wanted to be by his side every moment, her eyes fixed on the prince regent. When she couldn't suppress it anymore, she would squeeze him relentlessly.

If Faust was wishing to cram Great Thunder in, then Viviana was wishing to cram the witch's authority of One Night's Dream in!

Selena, the Midwinter princess, was more normal. She would act coy, get jealous, and tease him. However, what the beautiful girl with long black hair loved most was being sincerely praised and adored by her lover, listening to endless sweet words while in Faust's arms.

Alkin was even more different from the other two. Interacting with the wolf girl made Faust feel like he was the one being pursued.

The hunter lady always placed herself in a more active position, tirelessly pursuing Faust in a poetic manner.

Artedinis's declaration had instead ignited Alkin's fighting spirit.

Even though they all craved romance, their individual inclinations were different.

“But then again, on the other hand, it might be because I don't quite understand yet.”

The wolf girl suddenly cooled down from her excited state, shaking the cocktail shaker as she spoke:

“After all, unlike them, I haven't truly engaged in breeding and training with you yet. Without knowing what beauty is, it's hard to feel the same way.”

As Alkin spoke, she poured the liquid into the glass in front of Faust.

The amber liquid shimmered warmly under the light, with a layer of fine foam on the surface, emitting a complex aroma of honey, citrus, and a certain woody plant.

What are you implying? You want it?

Faust silently picked up the glass and took a sip, feeling the spicy-sweet flavor.

Alkin leaned her hands on the edge of the counter, turning slightly to look at Faust.

The warm yellow light outlined a soft contour on her profile. The wolf girl's lips curled up as she elegantly extended her hand:

“I don't know why, but I can see that you are happy and excited because of me right now. That's enough. This joy is already mutual. I suppose I've successfully pursued you, haven't I?”

Due to Alkin's personal principles, she was obsessed with accumulating Faust's favorability. Only when the favorability was full would she reward herself once.

In a sense, she possessed a player's mindset for navigating the world even more than the prince regent.

“Before this, I endured for a long, long time for this moment of connection. So, my prince, can I dance with you tonight?”

As expected, the wolf girl wanted to eat.

While Viviana and Selena were practicing abstinence, Alkin had no such restriction. On the contrary, she had never indulged at all and had been accumulating her desires all this time.

Even if the degree of repression for Little Red Riding Hood wasn't as high as the other two witches, it certainly wasn't weak after accumulating day by day.

It was hard to imagine what kind of wild repression would result from the rebound after being forcibly squeezed.

But would Faust be afraid? What a joke! Holding Great Thunder in his hand, he was meant to strengthen the whole world! How could he shrink back from a beautiful girl's invitation?

Faust drained the honey wine in his glass and stated his attitude with a single, short word:

“To battle!”

.................

The speed of the floating ship was much faster than the train; it took only a day and a night to return to the Qingxi Kingdom from the southern border of the Empire.

Upon returning to the royal capital, Selena didn't even have the heart to linger and left for the Midwinter Kingdom with decisive speed.

Viviana also immediately began preparing for the Chivalric Crusade, investigating which places were worth challenging and subjugating.

Even Alkin, after eating her fill, gave a heartfelt sigh:

“Ah, I finally understand why those two are so obsessed with breeding and training with you. It turns out they were climbing a soul-shaking paradise!”

“Hehe, I'm full of motivation now and already looking forward to the next reward.”

Then she ran off to who-knows-where.

Left with free time, the prince of Qingxi paid a visit to his royal sister's bedchamber.

Yusewood crossed her arms and said coldly, “So, because you were bored, you came to find me for amusement?”

Faust: “Royal sister, that's not very nice of you to say. Can't I come to seek comfort from you? Didn't we agree I'm always welcome for a lap pillow?”
