Chapter 32 | They Called Me the Dumbest Dragon, So I Paused Time and Built an Empire

As soon as Dalu raised his head, he saw a small hand pointing at him, and he immediately lowered his head in terror.

Jonavili, of course, knew the aesthetics of a red dragon; minotaurs were undoubtedly the strongest among these three races.

"As you wish."

Then, Furiel looked down at the minotaur from her height and said coldly.

"From this day forth, you are a subordinate of the great Furiel. Even if I order you to die, you must obey."

"I... I understand."

"Go and call all the minotaurs here."

"Yes."

There was no need to deliberately gather them, because Jonavili and the others had been so flashy when they appeared that Xiao Shunzi and Erpiezi had already led the monsters to the plaza.

"Then I shall take these serpentfolk."

Jonavili looked at the monsters with human upper bodies and snake lower bodies.

Although they were considered mid-tier monsters, they had a high probability of awakening the Petrifying Evil Eye. Once awakened, they would be true high-tier species.

Besides, these guys were good-looking. Look at those delicate features; look at those sparkling, large eyes.

Good grief, just looking at them made her feel much better.

Finally, Gris scratched his head.

"Big sis, what are you guys doing?"

Looking at Gris, who had walked up to her side, Jonavili gave him a kick on the butt.

"These forest trolls are yours. From now on, they are your subordinates; their lives and deaths are in your hands."

"Ah? Oh, okay."

Seeing that most of them had gathered, the three dragons converted all these monsters into draconic kin.

Of course, quite a few died—about a hundred in total.

"Xiao Shunzi, you will be in charge of managing these frost serpentfolk from now on."

"Yes! Master!"

Jonavili walked up to the leader of the serpentfolk, reached out her small hand to lift her chin, and forced her to meet her gaze.

The serpentfolk leader was too terrified to move. She already had a bone-deep fear of dragons, and now, having been converted into draconic kin, her strength had risen to the Silver 8th Circle, yet she dared not harbor any thoughts of resistance.

Jonavili scanned her seductive face and marveled.

"My, my, this face was already beautiful, and now with the dragon blood conversion, tsk tsk tsk..."

The serpentfolk leader originally had purple hair, and her lower snake tail was a mix of purple and black rings, with emerald green pupils.

Now, she had been changed by the dragon blood to have snowy white, crystalline scales, hair like white silk, and pale blue pupils.

Though she didn't possess Jonavili's ethereal elegance and overbearing nobility, she was still a stunning beauty.

"From now on, you shall be my personal head maid. Your duty is to take care of my daily life and clean my scales while I sleep. Do you understand?"

"Yes... Yes, Master."

"In that case, your name shall be Medusa from now on."

"Thank you for the name, Master!"

Medusa was now very happy. This meant her status was equal to Xiao Shunzi's. More importantly, she now had a secure position and shouldn't die so easily.

"You may look for other monsters who are meticulous and patient to form a maid corps to serve me, but I have one requirement: they must be highly attractive."

"Yes, Master."

Seeing that the conversion was mostly complete, Jonavili spoke in a loud voice.

"From this day forth, all converted dragon-kin shall form the army of White Crystal City. I name you the White Crystal knights! Your mission is to conquer more tribes for me! Collect more gold coins!!!"

"We shall go through fire and water without hesitation!" they shouted in unison.

Looking at Jonavili's back, Furiel was lost in thought.

Even though she hated that fellow so much, even though that fellow was an unbelievable scoundrel, she was always inexplicably attracted to her...

It was like... it was like... what humans called... love?

Furiel was startled by her own wild thoughts.

It was rare for such a sentiment as "love" to sprout between chromatic dragons. After all, their nature dictated that when two chromatic dragons met, it was considered a friendly encounter if they didn't fight to the death, let alone develop something like love.

Even when they were truly lonely and restless, they would just find a member of their own race or another species to vent their desires.

Besides...

Furiel looked at that exquisite face and couldn't help but daze off.

Besides, she was a little female dragon. Between two female dragons... how could it be possible...

Perhaps noticing the gaze was too intense, Jonavili turned her head and found Furiel standing still.

She walked a few steps to stand in front of Furiel, but even with such a large movement, Furiel still didn't react.

A fair, jade-like hand waved a few times in front of the fiery red vertical pupils.

"Hello? Are you mesmerized by my beauty?"

Hearing Jonavili's words, Furiel snapped back to her senses.

"I admit I am very charming, but surely not to this extent."

Furiel gave Jonavili a sharp glare.

"Heh, stop being so narcissistic. I would never be mesmerized by a scoundrel like you. Dream on."

Jonavili shrugged casually and summoned the frost kobold.

"Xiao Shunzi."

"Present."

"From now on, the training of these White Crystal knights is entirely in your hands. As for the training methods..."

Jonavili plucked off a dragon scale and bestowed it upon Xiao Shunzi.

"Merge with it. It contains methods on how to train soldiers and grants formidable power."

As for why she had methods for training knights? That would be a question for those bored metallic dragons hiding in human society.

Jonavili needed a strong and reliable subordinate; otherwise, it would be too troublesome if she had to do everything herself. As a dragon, and having been a procrastinator in her past life, she was far too lazy now.

If it wasn't absolutely necessary, Jonavili still wanted to live a wonderful life of waking up to look at beauties, eating, and then going back to sleep.

Although she was a genuine little female dragon, after merging with the original host's soul, Jonavili felt her sexual orientation should, probably, maybe, still be toward females.

Xiao Shunzi naturally knew what this scale represented. After all, ten days ago, his colleague Erpiezi had obtained a scale from Jonavili. Not only did his strength increase significantly, but he also showed off the dragon scale mark on his forehead everywhere he went—he really did manage to flex.

But now... hehehe!

"Yes! Master! I will certainly not fail my mission!"

Saying this, Xiao Shunzi respectfully took the dragon scale bestowed by Jonavili, holding it above his head like a holy relic.

"At the same time, select the hundred strongest and most loyal from among these White Crystal knights to guard the safety of us three dragons, especially when we are sleeping."
