Chapter 6 | They Called Me the Dumbest Dragon, So I Paused Time and Built an Empire

"Roar!!"

Furiel let out a roar, flipping Jonavili over onto the ground with a face full of fury.

"Damn white dragon! You actually dared to make the great Furiel retreat? Truly unforgivable!"

Immediately, Furiel pinned Jonavili down and began raining down a flurry of wild swings on her chubby white dragon head.

The left claw dealt high damage, the right claw dealt high damage; each draconic swipe at Jonavili's head forced a miserable cry from her.

"Awoo!"

"Awoooo~"

"Wuuu aaah awoooo~~"

A few minutes later, the red wyrmling sitting on Jonavili seemed to have vented her anger, patting her claws against her a few more times.

"That felt good~"

On the other hand, Jonavili, pinned beneath her, was not feeling good at all; her cheeks were swollen from the beating, yet she still looked up at Furiel with a pathetic gaze, her already beautiful crystal blue eyes misting over with tears.

"Awoo~"

A grievance-filled cry rang out, and Furiel looked at her with satisfaction, announcing arrogantly.

"Hmph, hmph, hmph~ Do you finally understand the might of the great Lady Furiel? As the loser, you should be expelled by the victor. Now, get out of my territory."

Jonavili gritted her teeth inwardly, but truth be told, she simply couldn't defeat this red dragon, and she began to hesitate about whether she should actually leave.

However, she soon made up her mind; the opponent was, after all, just a red wyrmling—even with her draconic inheritance, her temperament was still that of a child.

And she herself had nineteen years of life experience; was she really going to be afraid of such a little wyrmling?

At that thought, Jonavili couldn't help but sneer inwardly; once she successfully fooled this red dragon, she would be able to rest easy.

On the surface, Jonavili looked at Furiel with a look of feigned confusion, causing Furiel's expression to stiffen under that gaze.

'Is it really okay for me to bully a fool like this?'

Furiel felt as if a chromatic dragon's non-existent conscience was stirring within her, but she quickly shook her dragon head; the law of the jungle was the rule among the chromatic dragon race, regardless of whether one was a fool or not.

"Ahem, stupid white dragon, I think you should understand what I mean."

Furiel stepped off the pinned Jonavili and spoke from a height.

"Now, you have been officially expelled by me. Leave, and do not return."

Jonavili rolled over and prostrated herself on the ground according to the information provided by her inherited memories, striking a submissive pose.

Seeing Jonavili's actions, a flash of doubt crossed Furiel's eyes, followed by realization and an uncontrollable smirk.

"It seems you've been conquered by my incomparable charm and formidable strength. Although you are a bit stupid..."

Furiel recalled that her daily life usually consisted of nothing but eating and sleeping, which was a bit boring; moreover, food was abundant here, so one more mouth wouldn't be a problem.

"From this day forth, you are a subordinate of the great red dragon Lady Furiel. Submit to your heart's content! Cower beneath my majestic form! Hehehahahaha~~"

Furiel raised her dragon head and laughed loudly, completely failing to notice Jonavili's speechless expression.

'Tsk—this girl is so damn narcissistic. Just you wait; let's see who pins whom down in the future, and who will be whose boss.'

Jonavili chuckled inwardly, but on the surface, she maintained a silly grin.

She couldn't help it; whenever a white dragon was happy, their body would unconsciously take on that expression.

Seeing Jonavili look like this because she had accepted her submission, Furiel felt even happier.

Her red dragon tail swept out, patting Jonavili's shoulder a few times as she adopted the air of a big sister.

"Don't worry, follow me and no one will be able to bully you. Even though you're very stupid, your eye for talent is excellent."

Jonavili nodded quickly, letting out a series of "awoo" cries.

"Alright, aren't you very hungry? As my first subordinate, I allow you to eat the food I haven't finished yet."

With that, Furiel moved aside. Jonavili looked at her, then at the bull that was more than half-eaten, let out an "awoo," and hopped over to the bull to begin feasting.

Furiel watched the white figure eating, raising her dragon head high as she began to inspect her closely.

A pair of relatively thick white dragon horns grew backward, and her entire body was covered in white scales; upon closer inspection, the snowy scales shimmered with a metallic luster.

Her tail was thick, but leaned more toward being plump, like a cone.

Overall, she looked quite chubby, though one could faintly see a body that was barely streamlined.

"A stupidly cute half-blood white dragon who likely inherited only a white dragon's intelligence."

This was Furiel's first impression of Jonavili.

Soon, Jonavili finished the food and felt about ninety percent full.

She sat obediently on the ground, looking up at Furiel, who was still sizing her up.

"If you're done eating, then follow me."

With those words, Furiel spread her dragon wings and took to the sky, and Jonavili followed suit.

When they passed the river, Furiel dove in, with Jonavili right behind her; afterward, Furiel leapt out of the water and flew upstream.

Jonavili also used the river water to wash away the bloodstains on her body, keeping pace with the red wyrmling.

It took about ten minutes for the two wyrmlings—one red and one white—to land on the platform of a cave.

Jonavili looked around with curiosity; truth be told, since her soul had transmigrated to this other world of swords and magic, she hadn't had the chance to see it for herself.

Furiel glanced sideways at Jonavili and slowly paced into her lair.

"You are not allowed to come within five meters of me."

Jonavili watched her back and lifted a claw to follow.

There was no helping it; once a Dragon was full, they wanted to sleep, and Jonavili was no exception.

Furthermore, she had been flying for five continuous hours, and combined with hunting the frenzied bull and the conflict with Furiel, she had exhausted too much of her stamina; she now needed a good sleep to recover her energy.

Stepping into the cave, the red wyrmling had already lain down and closed her eyes to sleep.

Jonavili found a spot at the limit of the distance Furiel had set, buried her dragon head, and fell into a deep sleep.

However, Jonavili did not simply sleep this time; instead, she sank her consciousness into her mental sea, and with a thought, she arrived in the space of her inherited memories.

This was a boundless, vast sea of knowledge, where a torrent of information composed of memories and facts constantly rose and fell, forming this immense ocean of wisdom.
