“Gobu, gobu!”
Leveraging their diminutive size while the troll's attention was diverted, a horde of zombie goblins lunged toward its lower body.
Then, they began to bite and stab frantically with their weapons.
Infuriated, the troll violently shook its legs, trying to shake off and crush these disgusting zombie goblins.
However, the Swordsman Golems had already regrouped, thrusting their swords toward the troll's upper body.
Opening its bloody, mangled palm, the troll's flesh squirmed rapidly, healing completely in the blink of an eye as it lashed out to grab a lunging Swordsman Golem.
Then, clutching the Golem in its hand, it swung the Golem in one hand and the iron club in the other with ferocious power.
However, the water wrapping around the troll now flowed toward its hands, turning into two thick water tentacles connected to a midair magic circle, tightly binding its arms.
The troll exerted its massive strength.
With a series of cracks, the magic circle connected to the water tentacles began to shatter piece by piece, looking as though it wouldn't hold for much longer.
Number Zero took this opportunity to dash forward, raising its shield to bash against the troll's lower body.
“Roar!!”
The troll roared in anger, kicking toward Number Zero once again.
But Number Zero had been waiting for this exact moment. Bracing the shield with both hands, it deployed a protective barrier over the shield's surface, abruptly thrusting it upward to collide directly with the troll's sole.
The Goblin King also swung his bone club, smashing it toward the troll's chest.
A barrage of Swordsman Golems and goblins also rammed into the troll's waist.
Instantly, the troll's massive body faltered and crashed heavily to the ground with a resounding boom, sending a violent tremor through the earth.
The troll struggled to rise, only to see three gorgeous, overlapping magic circles deployed to their absolute limit.
At the center of those magic circles, a massive stone spear wrapped in a water tempest was fully charged and ready.
“Storm Torrential Spear!”
Without a single word of nonsense, the Storm Torrential Spear shattered the magic circles and tore forward, trailing a beautiful, tri-colored wake and a wind vortex as it crashed down upon the fallen troll.
The troll wanted to dodge, but splayed flat on its back, it could not move in time.
A burst of intense pain sprayed fresh blood.
The storm stone spear wrapped in water violently slammed into the tough chest it prided itself on.
A screeching friction echoed as its skin was instantly punctured.
Muscles as hard as alloy offered little resistance, being pierced layer by layer.
Skin, muscle, fascia, internal organs, and bone—all were pierced through.
As the smoke and tempest cleared, the troll was pinned firmly to the ground, its blood dyeing the earth crimson.
“Is it defeated?”
“Finish it!”
Without a moment's hesitation, Number Zero swung its sword toward the troll's neck while the Goblin King smashed his bone club toward its head.
The remaining goblins and Golems swarmed forward like ants devouring a giant elephant, covering the troll's entire body and dealing as much damage as possible to its physical form.
The troll struggled violently, flailing its iron club and arms to scatter the goblins and Golems clinging to its body.
The torn flesh of its chest continuously regenerated, tightening the gap around the stone spear and halting the flowing blood.
It was actually trying to force itself upright despite the massive gaping puncture wound in its chest.
“Tier 2 Magic: Rock Bind!”
How could Li Xiuman possibly let it have its way?
He hastily cast a Tier 2 Earth Magic spell that he had learned from some book and previously looked down upon.
As an earthy yellow magic circle expanded, the stone beneath the troll softened like pliable clay, sprouting rock tentacles that wrapped tightly around its body.
The stone spear still embedded in its chest also seemed to soften, morphing into binds that wrapped around its torso to pull it back flat against the ground.
“Roar!!!”
With bloodshot eyes, the troll tensed all the muscles across its body, causing wounds of all sizes to constrict.
At this moment, its entire body seemed to truly transform into a block of hardened steel.
Crack! Crack!
Under its immense strength, the binding rocks began to shatter.
The healing wounds surrounding the puncture in its chest ruptured once again under the sheer strain.
The sheer force transmitted was so immense that Li Xiuman's hand holding his wand began to tremble.
The earthy yellow magic circle at the tip of his wand began to splinter with audible cracks.
What kind of monstrous strength is this?!
Ultimately, the spell could no longer hold. The magic circle shattered instantly, causing Li Xiuman's body to shudder.
The rocks binding the troll disintegrated completely. Flinging off the remaining goblins and Golems, the troll freed itself.
It even crushed a few goblins to death in the process.
It slowly stood up, blood oozing from wounds all over its body, some of which still had swords and blades lodged in them.
It slowly panted, reaching toward the stone spear in its chest.
Then, with a blood-curdling screech, it ripped the stone spear straight out of its wound.
Instantly, blood gushed like a geyser from the massive opening in its chest.
Its body stumbled once again.
Yet, that terrifying self-healing ability was actually beginning to patch up and repair that fatal gaping hole bit by bit.
“Dragonification!”
Li Xiuman rapidly assumed his Half-Dragon Skeleton form and charged forward, holding his Rib Sword.
Having already taken a hit from his ultimate spell, the troll would not easily be struck by it again.
This was the perfect moment for him to become a melee mage.
As Li Xiuman ran, he threw a spinning Spiral Spike toward the troll's eye.
Panting heavily, the troll swatted the Spiral Spike aside with its hand and spat out several Fireballs toward Li Xiuman while backing away to buy time.
How could Li Xiuman let it do as it pleased?
A horde of goblins swarmed forward, tearing at the troll's wounds.
At this point, only a dozen or so goblins remained; nearly half had been smashed into mush by the troll during the battle.
This pained Li Xiuman so much he could almost shed tears.
After all, their magic stones had been crushed into dust right along with them.
In order to guarantee the combat power of this goblin batch to deal with this floor boss, Li Xiuman hadn't dug out their magic stones beforehand.
He casually deflected the incoming Fireballs with his Rib Sword.
Fireballs at the level of Fire Magic Lv. 1 were no different from firecrackers to the current Li Xiuman.
Dragging a near afterimage on the ground, Li Xiuman leaped into the air as he closed the distance to the troll. Spreading his Bone Wings, he stabbed toward its eyes.
“Roar!!”
The troll roared, swinging its iron club.
Magic items with a shattering property were highly effective counters against skeletons; Li Xiuman certainly didn't want to take a direct hit.
Dodging to the side, he simultaneously opened a fire magic circle to blast Fireballs toward the troll's head.
The exploding firelight obscured the troll's vision. Taking the chance, Number Zero slammed its shield against the troll's knee.
The goblins and Swordsman Golems employed the same trick again, trying to bring the troll down.
Having already suffered from this once, however, the troll was clearly on guard, quickly dropping into a squat to stabilize its footing.
And in the process, it sat a few goblins and Golems to death.
Seeing that the plan didn't work out, Li Xiuman could only slash the troll with his Rib Sword, backing away to wear it down with magic.
Li Xiuman targeted the gaping hole in the troll's chest, intending to strike it there.
But the troll quickly covered the wound with one arm, fighting back one-handed.
It seemed it would rather suffer damage anywhere else but there.
“Damn it! Tier 2 Magic: Sharp Rock Ground Spike!”
Numerous sharp ground spikes erupted from the ground, thrusting toward the troll's rear.
It was either lie down or stand up.
When it came to fighting dirty, Li Xiuman was a professional.
