“Wow.”
Li Xiuman looked at the ordinary-looking gold coin in his hand with a mix of excitement and wariness.
More likely to amass wealth?
Improved luck, and the ability to consume fortune to avert disaster.
He would take the gamble; he bet his life was tough enough. Besides, it said there was only a small probability, and he had always been extremely lucky!
There was no way something with a low probability would happen to him.
Tucking the gold coin carefully into his clothes, Li Xiuman keenly felt a strange energy envelop his body.
“Looks like the effect has already activated.”
Li Xiuman felt it was highly necessary to test it out.
“Number Zero, come here. Let's roll some dice.”
Using Earth Magic to create a gambling table and dice, Li Xiuman began his test.
“Big!”
“Six.”
“Small!”
“One.”
“...”
Was this the blessing of good luck? To think it could be so terrifying.
Having completely decimated Number Zero in a consecutive winning streak, Li Xiuman lost interest in continuing the test.
He stood up and looked toward the depths of the Floor Boss room.
Should he continue exploring?
The primary goal of this expedition had already been met, so next, why not...
Li Xiuman looked at the Dungeon Core.
He pulled up the projection of the White Bone Dungeon.
“Oh? They're conquering it quite fast.”
Because the number of floors in the White Bone Dungeon was tied to Li Xiuman's Level.
Thus, as Li Xiuman leveled up, the White Bone Dungeon had expanded to Floor 27.
Right now, Floor 27—which had only recently formed—had already been discovered, and exploration had begun.
The one leading the charge at the very front, with the highest exploration progress, was a highly coordinated adventurer party.
“I haven't been there in a while. I should go show my face and test the waters with these adventurers.”
Instead of continuing to explore the White Bear City dungeon, Li Xiuman decided to take a stroll over to his White Bone Dungeon to fulfill his duties as the Demon King.
As for the duties of a Demon King?
Naturally, it was to expel every single adventurer who coveted his dungeon's treasures, leaving none behind.
And then strip them of their gear and gold coins.
It was only polite to return the favor.
“Teleport!”
A pitch-black magic circle expanded beneath his feet, rising to envelop his entire body.
His surroundings became warped and abstract. Feeling the ground give way beneath his feet, Li Xiuman was instantly teleported to the Floor Boss room of Floor 27 in the White Bone Dungeon.
There was no rush to deal with the Demon King's affairs just yet.
First, he wanted to see how his Unique Variant skeleton golem was doing.
Specifically, he had come this time to find a companion for the skeleton golem.
Through the projection of the Dungeon Core, Li Xiuman quickly located the skeleton golem.
This fellow's level had also risen along with the dungeon, reaching LV27.
As a Unique Variant of the dungeon, the skeleton golem's Level was tied to the dungeon's floor count.
However, because the skeleton golem belonged to the second major stratum and only operated within Floors 21 to 30, its level cap was LV30.
Right now, the skeleton golem was having the time of its life slaughtering adventurers.
“It's the Steel-Armored Skeleton! Why would we encounter such a monster on Floor 23?!”
“Run! The Steel-Armored Skeleton is absolutely not something we can defeat! I'll draw its attention first!”
“Leader!”
“Don't stop...”
The party leader was pierced straight through by the skeleton golem, dying instantly.
But his death bought enough time for his teammates, allowing them to escape the monster's clutches.
“Looks like the skeleton golem has made quite a name for itself.”
“Still, 'Steel-Armored Skeleton' is such a weird name...”
Not that the White Grim Reaper had any right to judge...
Li Xiuman's sudden teleportation right next to the skeleton golem gave it quite a fright.
As a fusion of a Unique Variant and a Golem, the skeleton golem possessed a rudimentary intelligence.
It respectfully bowed to its Demon King, Li Xiuman, the golem armor covering its body letting out a series of creaks.
“It looks like you've sustained some damage.”
“Let me patch you up.”
Li Xiuman placed his hand on the skeleton golem's shoulder. A pitch-black teleportation circle expanded from the Dungeon Core, enveloping them both.
They were then teleported together back to the Floor Boss room of Floor 27.
Upon arriving, Li Xiuman first repaired the skeleton golem before taking out the Dungeon Core.
Up next was the creation of the White Bone Dungeon's second Unique Variant.
“Troll Creation!”
The Dungeon Core radiated a blinding light, expanding a magnificent magic circle in front of Li Xiuman.
Soon, a massive skeletal frame was rapidly traced within the magic circle, followed by muscle, flesh, and skin.
Before long, a purple-skinned troll standing over three meters tall emerged from the magic circle.
It stood up, looking at Li Xiuman and the skeleton golem.
With its instinct as a troll, it instantly detected a terrifying aura of a Demon King from Li Xiuman. It quickly dropped to its knees, offering its absolute submission.
He decided to run an Appraisal on it.

[Description] ...
It was quite a bit weaker than the troll from Iron River City.
But there was no helping it; Li Xiuman's foundation was still weak, and the White Bone Dungeon had only just begun to develop.
“Guard the dungeon well. Obstruct all intruders.”
Li Xiuman gave the troll the same command he had given to the skeleton golem.
Next, he summoned a batch of Flame Goblins and equipped the troll with the [Goblin King's Crown].
He also threw the Green Quality bone club over to the troll.
He was going to give the intruders a massive surprise.
The skeleton golem was called the Steel-Armored Skeleton; this troll, at the very least, deserved a title like the Tyrant Monarch.
“...Damn it, I'm acting like a chuunibyou without even realizing it.”
“This must be the influence of those vampires.”
Li Xiuman constructed a throne out of bones, then adjusted his armor and posture.
Afterward, he sat down and waited for the adventurers who came to challenge him.
He had to put on a proper show.
...
“This damn dungeon labyrinth is making my head spin.”
“Hang in there. I have a feeling we're not far from the end.”
The party with the highest exploration progress on Floor 27 had already lost track of how many circles they had run in.
Yet, they still hadn't found the path to the next floor or the Floor Boss room.
“Wait, Captain! Look over there!”
Deep within the skeletal forest, a thick mist began to roll in.
Looming through the fog was a massive stone door.
“We found it!”
