Chapter 115 | My Avatar Is Becoming a God

As Bai Feifei swung the ruler behind her, Ye Yu's voice reached her ears from behind.

"Watch out!"

She was holding a long spear, and she had likely called out to warn Bai Feifei for fear of actually hurting her.

Evidently, her concern was unnecessary.

Smack!

With a crisp snapping sound, Ye Yu's wrist was struck until it went numb. She staggered back a few steps, and the long spear clattered to the ground.

Just as she was about to say something, Bai Feifei turned around, her brow slightly furrowed.

"Who did you say I was luring?"

As those words slipped out, Bai Feifei froze for a moment.

She had meant to ask Xu Mo that in her mind, but in a moment of distraction, she had spoken it out loud.

Standing before her, Ye Yu was stunned for a second before her face instantly flushed a deep red.

"No... No one! What luring?"

Her tongue felt tied, and she didn't know where to look.

Seeing her reaction, the corner of Bai Feifei's mouth twitched.

She was about to feel embarrassed herself for accidentally speaking her internal conversation with an Evil God aloud, so why was the other person getting embarrassed first?

What are you blushing for?!

"Oh no, it looks like you made a mistake and the opponent accidentally burned their ultimate move," Xu Mo teased.

"Why not just add her to your harem? Actually, she—"

"A slip of the tongue... I wasn't talking to you. Since you're attempting a sneak attack, don't make a sound."

Ye Yu felt as if she had been granted a divine pardon and nodded quickly, though the blush on her face didn't fade for a long time.

Bai Feifei held the ruler stiffly and could only pretend nothing had happened as she continued walking toward the training hall.

"Stop messing around... What exactly are you trying to do?"

"Luring out the people behind those potions," Xu Mo's voice replied.

"As the old saying goes, when you don't know what to do, just wait for your opponent to make a mistake."

"By devaluing the potions so explicitly, those involved will definitely lose their cool if there's truly something wrong."

Bai Feifei asked doubtfully,

"But if that's the case, shouldn't I avoid staying at Qingping Academy all the time?"

"Nothing can really happen inside a school, right?"

"That's not necessarily true."

Before Xu Mo could finish, Bai Feifei's ears twitched—the effect of the Heart of the World allowed her to capture an extremely faint heartbeat.

It was the very moment she opened the door and was about to enter the training hall.

She suddenly jerked her body to the side. A silver needle as thin as a cow's hair whistled past her neck and slammed into a large tree behind her.

The tip of the needle shimmered with a faint, eerie green light. In an instant, the leaves of that tree turned yellow and withered away.

Before Ye Yu and another girl following behind could react, the windows on both sides of the training hall shattered simultaneously, and three students from the Elite Class pounced from different directions.

The moment one of them landed, he let out a low shout:

【Wind comes and goes, bind my target!】

A Word Soul!

As the words left his mouth, the surrounding air suddenly became viscous, as if countless invisible threads were tightening from all directions.

Bai Feifei looked down and saw red marks being constricted onto her arms out of thin air.

She hadn't encountered anyone of this caliber yesterday.

No one spoke. Cold light glinted in everyone's eyes as the three moved in unison.

One of them kicked off the ground, sliding low across the floor. He drew a short blade, aiming the edge directly at Bai Feifei's ankles.

The other two came from the left and right—one blocking her retreat while the other attacked her upper body. Their coordination was remarkably seasoned.

Ye Yu saw everything clearly from behind, her mouth hanging open.

Was this a joke?

This had already gone beyond the scope of teaching; one mistake and Bai Feifei could be seriously injured.

Was this the kind of training intensity that should exist between students and a teacher?

Ye Yu felt something was wrong and instinctively wanted to rush forward to help, but before she could take a step, Bai Feifei swatted her back with the ruler.

"Don't interfere! Take care of yourself!"

By the time Bai Feifei finished speaking, the ruler in her hand had already lashed out.

Smack!

The ruler struck the side of the short blade. The attacker felt his hand go numb, and the blade flew out of his grip.

Before he could retreat, the ruler arrived again, this time horizontal as it whipped across his face.

After a dull thud, he flew sideways and slammed into the wall.

Because he had been hit in the mouth, he couldn't even cry out in pain; several teeth fell right out of his mouth.

The other two exchanged looks, their eyes filled with shock, but they showed no intention of stopping. The one on the left suddenly roared again.

【A myriad of forms, size multiplication!】

A second Word Soul.

A ball of white light exploded as his right fist grew dozens of times larger, smashing down toward her head!

Bai Feifei didn't dodge. She raised her right hand and thrust the ruler forward, precisely striking the man's wrist.

Crack.

The sound of the wrist dislocating was crisp.

The man groaned as the white light dissipated instantly. His enlarged right hand shrank back to its normal size in a flash.

The last person had already rushed close, fingers curled into a claw. He wore metal finger-claws, which he thrust toward Bai Feifei's throat.

Bai Feifei tilted her body slightly, letting the fingers graze her shoulder. She then raised her knee and drove it into his abdomen. As the man's body arched, Bai Feifei's ruler slammed down from above, striking him squarely on the back of the neck.

Three moves, three people—all down.

The entire process was so fast that Ye Yu hadn't even seen it clearly. By the time she reacted, the battle was already over.

Other students from the Elite Class had run out of their classrooms after hearing the commotion and witnessed the scene.

Their expressions were filled with shock. They had originally planned to band together to "sneak attack" Bai Feifei as well.

But in their eyes, such a test was just a form of sparring; everyone knew to hold back.

However, the lethal intent shown by these three just now was abnormally ferocious—completely unlike their usual selves!

The other Elite Class students clearly recognized the trio and couldn't help but speak up.

"When did those guys get Word Souls? They never mentioned it!"

"Yeah, and looking at their movements, were they always this strong? I never noticed."

Bai Feifei looked down at the three people, then at her ruler, her brow furrowing.

She was no longer an inexperienced newcomer. After sensing clear hostility just now, she had become serious, and her strikes were much heavier than usual.
