Floor 18 Sunny Day: Anyone want to talk about how to clear Yuexian Shrine? I'm completely stuck.
I finally managed to save up enough pairings to enter the actual map, but my super powerful evil-dispelling item is still disabled by the system here.
With my gear completely useless, I can't do any damage to the incarnation of Lady Yuexian at all. There's no way to clear it.
System, are you targeting me on purpose?
Floor 19 Mountains Beyond Mountains: No, you're overthinking it. The system of Anomalous Infection is actually pretty fair.
Floor 20 Good Luck from All Directions: +1. I've read so many novels, and Anomalous Infection is one of the most decent systems out there.
Floor 18's situation is probably caused by instance tier suppression.
Floor 21 Next Blueberry: What does instance tier suppression mean?
Floor 22 Amon's Monocle: Heh, it is quite simple. The tier of your item is too high, far exceeding the capacity limit of this tiny instance.
The shackles and ceiling of this world are inherently low and shallow, with its own established rules and balance. Your intrusion with a high-tier divine object is no different from disrupting the fairness of this crude chessboard.
Floor 23 Good Morning, Good Afternoon, Good Night: Wow, where did a second Arbiter come from?
Floor 24 Next Blueberry: I didn't really understand that. Can someone translate?
Floor 25 Wish I Knew Better: OP is a big dummy. To put it in layman's terms, the combat power ceiling of this instance is only so high.
Just like a primitive instance allows you to use axes but would never let you bring in firearms or missiles. It's the same logic.
Floor 26 Chichi: I know this mechanism all too well. Our fixed squad has a firearms expert who is constantly restricted from assassinating by the system.
In conventional instances, mildly overpowered items get nerfed, and heavily overpowered ones are banned outright.
Conversely, if the system ever lifts restrictions on high-tier items across the board, don't even think twice—there's definitely some top-tier terrifying horror hidden in the instance waiting to slaughter players.
Floor 27 Refuse Lily in Sight: Anyone who has played TRPGs should understand.
When the Keeper doesn't even ban you from bringing rocket launchers or bombs, you'd better start wondering what kind of monsters are waiting for you in that instance.
Floor 28 Reply from Vice Sect Leader of Bald Sect: Got it, Color Out of Space warning!
Floor 29 Walking and Walking: The incarnation of Lady Yuexian isn't actually that hard to fight. As long as you can stall long enough, you can still win.
I'm a defensive class with extremely low damage output. Since my teammates were dead, I could only slowly chip away at the incarnation's health.
We scraped at each other for about ten minutes. I was just about to give up and slack off, but then she suddenly exploded on the spot, and I won.
Floor 30 Er Xiang: The sudden death of the incarnation is indeed a thing, but I still haven't figured out what triggers it. I haven't found any related clues.

Bai Ci casually scrolled down a few more pages, passing the time by reading the players' various complaints and shared experiences.
Estimating that enough time had passed, she exited the thread and typed “Yuanxin Matchmaking Agency” into the search bar again.
The relevant discussions had finally started to pick up. When the page refreshed, the number of threads was already enough to span multiple pages.
Bai Ci's eyes quickly swept over the list, instantly locking onto the most popular thread at the top of the page. It already had nearly fifty replies, and the number was still growing.
General Discussion Area-Instance Rants
QuestionCan any expert clear things up about Yuanxin Matchmaking Agency? Did I just clear the instance for absolutely nothing?
ID: Peaches Without Peeling
Just like the title says, even though the instance is over, I'm still completely bewildered. I really don't understand the logic behind clearing this instance.
Breaking the family marriage curse is the main quest, right?
I was just too lazy to deal with the hassle, so I figured I'd find an NPC who caught my eye, go on a blind date, get married, and safely scrape by to clear the instance.
In the end, I finally managed to hit it off with a male guest. That night, I went to sleep. I closed my eyes, opened them, and the instance was directly settled and ended?
No warning, no plot development, no cutscenes throughout the whole process. I'm still dazed even now. What on earth happened?
Floor 2 Yellow-Hearted Pineapple: Wow, what kind of cutscene did you want for sleeping? That's not allowed to be broadcasted, dear~
Floor 3 OP's Reply: Why does that sound so wrong? I don't get it.
Floor 4 OP's Reply: Oh, now I get it... I often feel out of place because I'm not degenerate enough for you guys.
Just because your name has “Yellow-Hearted” in it doesn't mean you have to see everything as dirty.
I was seriously sleeping. The kind where I go home and sleep alone.
Floor 5 OP: To add, my status was normal. I didn't encounter any supernatural events, I wasn't plagued by any curses, and I didn't actively trigger any side quests. How did I suddenly clear the instance?
Does any expert know the inside story?
Floor 6 Recipe to Avoid Baldness from Staying Up Late: Hahaha, this is hilarious. You're a classic case of coasting to victory without having any idea how.
You didn't clear the instance normally. You were directly caught in the aftermath of the evil god's descent and died back to reality.
Floor 7 OP's Reply: ??? Evil god? Where did an evil god come from?
I was on blind dates the entire time, and the atmosphere was extremely peaceful. I didn't feel even a shred of anomalous energy!
Wasn't the main quest to lift our family curse? What does that have to do with an evil god? Don't tell me the family curse was laid by an evil god?
Is this evil god out of its mind? Why would it force people to get married?
Floor 8 Hard to Find Old Dreams: Hilarious.
Floor 6: OP, use your noodle!
OP: Noodle? Where can I get some noodles?
Floor 9 One Plus One Equals Two: A massive blame is dropped from the sky. Evil God: How come I didn't know I ever laid down such a curse?
Floor 10 Real-Name Verification Failed: This instance is highly misleading. Its core isn't about some family curse at all, but rather that Yuanxin Matchmaking Agency your mom introduced you to.
That matchmaking agency is fundamentally a breeding ground for nurturing an evil god.
Floor 11 Archimedes' Lever: No, OP, if you had paid even a little bit of attention, you would have noticed something was off.
Ultra-low fees, top-tier service, prime location. With so much cost poured into it, the tiny service fees they charge ordinary people wouldn't even cover the utility bills. It's either a charity or hiding a massive conspiracy. Do you even need to think about it?
Floor 12 OP's Reply: I actually did notice that.
At the time, I specifically asked the matchmaker at the agency. They said they don't make money from matchmaking fees, but mainly profit from subsequent value-added services like custom weddings, bridal room setups, and marriage ceremonies.
That logic sounded pretty reasonable to me?
Floor 13 Salted Fish Will Never Flip: Someone please give OP a whack on the head.
We're in an unlimited flow instance. We clearly know something is bound to go wrong, yet you actually believed whatever she told you?
OP, are you one of the Hedonists?
Floor 14 OP's Reply: How did you know?
Floor 15 OP's Reply: I mean, why wouldn't I be?
The instance prompt was to lift the curse, so I just focused on the main quest.
I didn't touch, investigate, or delve into those dark, complex side conspiracies. I just safely coasted to a clear and got my evaluation. Is there anything wrong with that?
Floor 16 Not So Sober in the Mortal World: How did we guess?
OP, your behavior is practically the textbook definition of the Hedonists stereotype.
