Chapter 133 | Overtime Necromancy: My Legion Never Sleeps

Looking at the bone dragons on the mountain, Griffinlie felt as if he were seeing his own future.

He shook his head violently, clearing away the messy thoughts.

Then he turned his head toward the back of the Dragon Court and roared at the top of his lungs, "Wright, pick up the pace! In ten minutes, I want to see every dragon standing on the central plaza!"

"Yes, Lord Griffinlie!"

On the high mountain outside the Dragon Court, Chen Xu had already arrived at the peak riding Sindragosa.

"My Lord!"

Chen Xu looked at Xuan Chu and Bone Guard Two. "What do you plan to do?"

"My Lord, according to the memories of the dragon-kin, the Dragon God has fallen into a deep sleep. The greatest enemies of the undead army are the Dragon God's priest and the captain of the Dragon Court Guard.

However, the Dragon Court itself is a divine artifact. There is almost no information regarding this in the dragon-kin's memories. Therefore, I suggest we rely on our terrain advantage to harass the dragons inside the city, lure them out, and move the battlefield outside the Dragon Court."

After Xuan Chu finished speaking, Chen Xu turned his gaze toward Bone Guard Two.

"Bone Guard Two, what about you? Do you have any suggestions?"

Bone Guard Two shook his head. "My Lord, I have only hunted lone dragons in the wilderness. I cannot provide advice based on experience for a dragon civilization of this scale, with tens of thousands of them gathered in the Dragon Court."

"Alright then, we will do as Xuan Chu suggested." Chen Xu turned back to Xuan Chu and said, "Xuan Chu, you will lead this campaign against the Dragon Court. All skeleton heroes and undead soldiers are under your command."

"Yes! My Lord!"

After receiving the order, Xuan Chu went to the edge of the western cliff, facing the Dragon Court and looking down at the dragons gathering on the plaza.

Then, Xuan Chu drew the knight's sword from his waist and pointed the tip directly at the Dragon Court.

"For the Lord of the Undead!"

As his voice fell, the Skeleton Archers drew their bows and notched their arrows in unison, while the Skeleton Mages condensed magic in their hands, ready to strike.

"Attack!"

In an instant, countless bone arrows flew from the high mountain into the sky, their numbers so great they resembled a dark cloud. Beyond the mountain, the plains outside the Dragon Court were also filled with the undead army, and the arrows fired from there formed another dark cloud flying toward the city.

In addition to the gray barrage of bone arrows, there were the three elements of magic launched by the Skeleton Mages.

Fire Wall, Frozen Orbs, and lightning bolts—a wide variety of spells and colors intertwined, painting the sky into a scene of doomsday.

Tch.

The dragons on the plaza looked at the rain of arrows and magic in the sky with contemptuous smiles.

But before long, the contempt on their faces turned into surprise.

Seeing the rain of arrows about to fall on them, they immediately surged their mana to raise magic shields. Many dragons also gathered together, breathing dragon breath into the sky to melt the bone arrows and spells.

At the same time, one dragon turned to Griffinlie and roared loudly.

"Griffinlie, why haven't you activated the Dragon Court's defenses!"

Facing the questioning of his kinsman, Griffinlie snapped back.

"Use that pathetic excuse for a brain of yours, white dragon! Do you think this is like the last time we faced the Hell demons? The Lord Dragon God has fallen into a deep sleep! Who is going to provide energy for the Dragon Court? Me?

Or should I throw you into the furnace to power the city? Hmm, even that wouldn't work. Your inferior dragon bloodline would probably just contaminate the Dragon Court's core."

Griffinlie cursed while casting magic.

His dragon claws made a grasping motion in the air, and massive golden magic condensed, manifesting five giant golden light wheels that rotated at high speeds.

Then, his claws pushed upward, and the five rotating light wheels flew into the sky, grinding down every bone arrow and spell in their path.

A mithril dragon on the plaza, seeing the magic Griffinlie cast, also raised its right claw and chanted in a low voice.

"Dragon-language magic, Mithril Chains!"

A silver-white chain made of mithril formed in the dragon's claw and shot rapidly toward the light wheels in the sky. As soon as the chains touched the rotating wheels, they immediately merged into them.

The light wheels, now fused with the chains, began to incessantly fire ghostly white lasers. These white lasers were extremely fast, accurately locking onto the magic in the air and destroying them one by one.

"Roar! Dragon-language magic, Holy Sanctuary!"

Wright, the holy dragon, arrived leading a group of dragons. At the same time, Wright erected a barrier to block the rain of arrows for his kinsmen.

Light and darkness are absolute opposing attributes, and the undead are also the antithesis of light. As the bone arrows passed through the Holy Sanctuary, they were eroded by the holy light, leaving the once jade-white arrows riddled with holes. The arrowheads were no longer sharp, ground down by the barrier.

"Lord Griffinlie, all dragons are in position."

"Good. My fellow kinsmen, for the Lord Dragon God, let us bury these skeletons who dare to invade the Dragon Court and provoke our god!"

Griffinlie condensed a golden spear in his hand and took the lead in flying out of the Dragon Court.

"Roar!"

The dragons followed Griffinlie's lead one after another, roaring as they took to the sky.

The dragons split into three groups in the air, and massive amounts of mana flowed and merged between them.

When the dragons flew over the undead army outside the Dragon Court, a terrifying spell was instantly activated.

"Dragon-language magic! Apocalypse!"

The once flat ground suddenly shook violently. The earth cracked instantly, and countless ravines covered the ground, causing many skeletons to fall inside.

From high above, meteors the size of footballs rained down from the sky.

BOOM!

The falling meteors produced massive shockwaves, instantly wiping out a large group of Skeleton Archers.

Just as the undead army began to fight back, aiming at the dragons in the sky, the ravines in the ground began to spew hot lava.

Skeleton soldiers could rely on their Ultimate Cold Power to ignore the lava. Skeleton Mages had the enhancement of fire mastery, giving them decent fire resistance.

But the Skeleton Archers were not so lucky. The moment they were touched by the lava, they began to sizzle and smoke, turning into lumps of black charcoal in a matter of moments.

Seeing this, Chen Xu immediately summoned the Overlord's Castle, which descended from the sky. Several dragons failed to dodge in time and were crushed beneath the castle, dying instantly.

The Overlord's Castle projected the Undead Kingdom directly onto the Dragon Court, affecting the ground, repairing the ravines, and neutralizing the dragons' magic.

The authority of the Lord of the Undead provided a buff to all undead present, and the arrows of the Skeleton Archers were now infused with necrotic energy.

Patchwerk threw out his hook, snagging a dragon and pulling it down. He pinned the dragon's head with one hand and gave it a gentle twist, tearing it off.
