Chapter 50 | Please Stop Possessing Me, Lord Evil God!

Grinya Loran: "..."

She didn't dare open her eyes, hoping it was just a hallucination.

Seeing that she was still closing her eyes and trying to feign ignorance, the smile on Moen's face gradually faded, and he grabbed Grinya's ear, dragging her toward the abandoned church.

"Ow, ow, ow!" Grinya cried out.

Ruiya was stunned, her emerald eyes staring fixedly at Grinya, frozen in place like a statue.

Why was she here?

How did she follow them!

Ruiya's pale lips trembled slightly, but Moen didn't seem to notice anything. He squeezed Grinya's ear until it was bright red, a sight that made Ruiya's heart skip a beat.

"Mo... Moen..." She opened her mouth, but fear left her speechless.

Moen walked past her and suddenly stopped, though he did not look at her, his attitude cold and ruthless.

"Find somewhere secluded and dispose of her."

These words made Ruiya's body jerk violently, a chill running down her spine.

"H-Her?" She shakily raised her hand, pointing at Grinya.

Moen frowned, looking at her with confusion. "Should I dispose of you instead?"

Taking advantage of the moment the two of them started talking, Grinya's gaze narrowed on the man's unguarded lower body, and she suddenly struck!

However, at the very moment she moved, Moen glanced at her coldly. This sudden chill should have frozen Grinya's movements, but seeing that her hand showed no intention of stopping, a look of surprise appeared on Moen's face.

And it was this slight moment of hesitation that caused him to miss the chance to defend his vitals!

Grinya viciously struck his most vulnerable spot. His body jerked violently as he let out a panicked gasp, "Big sister, please..."

A sickening crack echoed.

"Agh—!"

Moen screamed in agony. After kicking Grinya away, he collapsed to his knees, clutching himself, his face contorted in excruciating pain.

Grinya wiped the blood from the corner of her mouth with the back of her hand, her gray eyes staring unblinkingly at Moen.

She knew very well that if she were taken away by these suspected cultists, her fate would be miserable.

Rather than surrendering, it was better to find an opportunity to fight back.

Unfortunately, she didn't have a suitable weapon in her hand. If only she had the Sword of Honor.

Just as the thought crossed her mind, she suddenly heard the crisp sound of metal scraping against metal. A heavy sensation spread from her palm, and she stared blankly at the cold, moon-silver longsword in her hand.

"The Sword of Honor?"

She gasped in disbelief.

At the moment she needed a weapon most, the Sword of Honor, which symbolized the glory of the Kritov family, had appeared in her hand.

Could it be... that even while asleep, the evil god was still silently watching over her?

It turned out the evil god cared so much about her.

A wave of warmth flowed through Grinya's heart, and in the next second, her eyes blazed with the fire of battle.

In that case, she couldn't let the evil god down. She would prove to the evil god that His judgment was not wrong!

"Damn it, I'm going to kill you!"

Moen looked up, his bloodshot eyes staring at her with pure malice.

Although he didn't know why she hadn't been affected by his control just now, the woman's actions had undoubtedly pushed his rage to the limit.

The pain was an unforgivable insult!

"I will make you die in the most vicious, most painful way possible. I'll make you realize just how stupid your actions were!"

"Moen..."

"Shut up!" Moen barked at Ruiya. "If it weren't for you, how could I have suffered such humiliation!"

An opening!

Grinya's eyes lit up, and she suddenly lunged forward. Her movements were as fast as a bolt of lightning, the cold blade pointing straight at Moen's unprotected neck.

But in the next second, she regretted her impulsive move. She seemed to have underestimated the gap between herself and her opponent. From beginning to end, her movements had never left his control.

She was fast, but his speed was even greater.

Clang!

The cold weapon fell to the ground. Grinya's feet left the floor as he gripped her throat tightly. She struggled desperately, but it was useless.

I'm sorry, evil god. I've been defeated instantly...

Moen's cold eyes glowed with a murderous ferocity. A mass of twisted black mist appeared in his other palm, dancing slightly like a flame, yet constantly emitting a terrifying aura.

Ruiya only needed one glance to feel her mental pressure skyrocket, the words she wanted to say getting stuck in her throat.

She pressed her hands against the ground, painfully supporting her body.

The corners of Moen's mouth curled up slightly, his expression smug and arrogant. Seeing the expression of painful struggle on Grinya's face brought him immense pleasure.

"Do you feel the fear? Yes, you didn't guess wrong. This black mist in my hand comes from the body of the Plague God. It will cause your body to rot and your mind to gradually corrode. Whether it's the physical or the mental, it will make you experience agony thousands of times worse than death!"

"You should feel honored that I'm using this small amount of divine power on you, because this is the consequence of your own choice!"

He cursed viciously, and the mass of black mist suddenly flew out. The moment it touched Grinya, it enveloped her entire body like a sudden explosion of fire.

Seeing the power of the Plague God successfully curse Grinya, Moen laughed toward the sky, tears of excitement streaming from the corners of his eyes.

"Wail in pain! Groan in misery! Your screams will be the most wonderful music in this world!"

He closed his eyes and spread his arms, a joyful smile on his face, as if he were about to immerse himself in it.

However, the expected scream did not come.

His heart skipped a beat as a bad premonition suddenly surfaced.

He slowly opened his eyes. The girl before him was sitting on the ground with her legs splayed, clutching her bruised neck and breathing heavily, her face full of terror.

The ominous black mist enveloped her entire body, yet she was breathing normally as if nothing had happened.

Moen's voice cracked in disbelief, "How is this possible?"

In the next second, a brilliant white light suddenly burst from the girl's body—or more accurately, from her pouch. It was as radiant as facing the blazing sun, enveloping everyone like a divine aura.

The black mist on the girl's body was instantly dispelled.

"Damn it, what is that?!"

Moen's vision was filled with white light. He couldn't see anything and shouted in a panic.

"This power... it's a god... it's the power of a god!" Moen's face turned pale as he cried out in sheer terror, "Who exactly are you?!"

Without the black mist, Ruiya nearby finally recovered. Because she wasn't facing Grinya directly, she hadn't suffered the temporary blindness like Moen.

She rushed forward in a panic, grabbed Moen, and whispered a trembling warning, "Moen, she... she is the interesting existence the God of Chaos mentioned..."
