“Tyr Callis.”
Unlike Aetheline, there was not much politeness in Tyr's tone, nor was it mixed with any emotion.
When they returned to the Grand Duke's mansion, Ivelina had told him that being polite was a good thing. However, in such a highly stratified society, being overly polite to those of a lower status would only cause them distress.
“Young Master Tyr, is it convenient for me to examine your body first?”
“Of course.”
Tyr sat down at the table in his room and gestured for her to come forward.
Aetheline stepped up to Tyr. As her magic power outlined the patterns, a palm-sized detection magic circle appeared.
Tyr could feel a wisp of magic power entering his body. Controlling the flow of magic power within himself, the gold color in the magic Taiji diagram at his heart completely vanished, returning to the appearance of his previous Magic Circle.
When yin and yang combined, they could either appear simultaneously or fuse into one, manifesting in the form of single-attribute magic power.
Although Tyr had hidden the fact that he possessed dual magic powers, his Second Circle strength still shocked Aetheline.
Even as someone hailed as a once-in-a-century magic genius at the White Magic Tower, she had only condensed her second Magic Circle at the age of twelve.
Yet the boy before her was only eight years old, and he was already a Second Circle Transcendent.
Should she expect nothing less from the bloodline of House Callis?
As a qualified healing mage, although she was surprised by Tyr's realm, she focused more of her attention on his physical condition.
However, Aetheline soon discovered to her astonishment that her detection magic did not sense any negative emotions within Tyr's body.
The White Magic Tower had been funded and built by Grand Duke Callis to provide psychological therapy for the reserves during their time in the Sword Prison.
As a member of the White Magic Tower which had a long-term partnership with House Callis, Aetheline naturally knew very well why they were here.
Because these children had to undergo House Callis's brutal training at such a young age, they were highly likely to be left with psychological trauma. Their mission was to soothe the minds of these reserves.
Yet after Aetheline examined Tyr, she found that his mind was pure and flawless, completely free of any burgeoning negative emotions.
In other words, he was perfectly fine and did not require any treatment at all.
The members of the White Magic Tower knew very well that the reason they held the top spot among all the magic towers was not only because everyone respected White Mages, but even more so because they relied on the support of House Callis.
If they only relied on their status as White Mages, the White Magic Tower might rank among the best, but it could never have become the absolute number one.
Therefore, coming to House Callis's Sword Prison to serve as therapists was an extremely important job for the members of the White Magic Tower.
To ensure their professional competence, they would repeatedly study their predecessors' therapy guides for the Sword Prison before arriving.
Aetheline had naturally made ample preparations, but the current situation was that she couldn't find any issues at all. This meant she didn't have a single reference case to draw from.
“Um, Young Master Tyr, may I examine you once more?”
At this moment, she even suspected that something had gone wrong with her own magic.
“Of course.”
Tyr could more or less guess what Aetheline was thinking. Not only did he possess the foundation of an extra lifetime, but he also had an Innate Sword Heart.
The Innate Sword Heart kept his mind clear and pure; anything that could affect his mind was completely ineffective against him.
In this regard, the Innate Sword Heart was somewhat similar to a pure heart of innocence. The only difference was that the possessor of an Innate Sword Heart would not be as naive as someone with a pure heart of innocence.
“Thank you.”
As a once-in-a-century magic genius of the White Magic Tower and its youngest Fifth Circle White Mage, she had always been highly proficient and confident in white magic, yet she felt nervous at this moment.
Aetheline took a deep breath and began to channel the magic power within her body once more to outline the magic circuits.
A moment later, the magic power fluctuations around Aetheline dissipated. Only after careful consideration did she deliver her answer.
“Young Master Tyr, there are no issues with your body.”
“Isn't that a good thing? Why is your expression so solemn, Miss Aetheline?” Tyr said with a faint smile.
Having no issues was indeed a good thing, but what Aetheline feared was not that there were no problems, but that she had failed to detect them.
She had browsed through all the examination reports regarding the previous reserves in the White Magic Tower, and up until now, there had never been a single case of a reserve who did not show some psychological abnormality after their training ended.
After all, no matter how talented these reserves of House Callis were, they were still just a group of children.
Anyone who had ever learned about House Callis's reserve training process understood that even an adult might not be able to endure such training, let alone a child.
“Of course it's a good thing. I'm just worried that my magical proficiency is insufficient, and that I might hold you back, Young Master.”
Aetheline didn't know how else to answer, so she could only say this.
“How could that be? You look so young, Miss Aetheline, yet you already possess the strength of the Fifth Circle. By no means do you seem to lack magical proficiency.”
When Aetheline first entered, Avia had already informed Tyr of her magic power realm via a magic power transmission.
Furthermore, although magic power could slow down the body's aging process, it could not completely prevent it.
Only when one's realm reached Demigod could they achieve eternal youth.
“You flatter me. When it comes to talent, Young Master Tyr, you far surpass me.”
When Aetheline said this, there was not a single hint of polite exaggeration in her words.
In the past, Aetheline would have felt proud and conceited about possessing a Fifth Circle realm at her current age.
But just now, she had witnessed firsthand what it meant for there to always be someone better, and a higher heaven beyond the heavens.
“Please sit, Miss Aetheline.” Tyr pointed to the chair across the table from him. “Since the physical examination is over, why don't you tell me about the outside world?”
“To tell you the truth, I lived with my parents in a small village when I was young, so I don't know much about the outside world.”
Hearing Tyr's words, Aetheline was not particularly surprised. She knew that House Callis's Grand Duke selection was not limited to the Grand Duke's direct line, but spanned the entire House Callis.
This matter was no secret in the circles of nobles and transcendents.
Moreover, with Tyr already at the Second Circle realm at his age, regardless of what his past status was, he was bound to achieve extraordinary things in the future.
“Then let me tell you about Lumiant, Young Master Tyr.”
Lumiant was precisely the city where the White Magic Tower was located within the Grand Duchy of Callis.
At the same time, Aetheline also intended to assess Tyr's psychological state through conversation therapy. Since the magical examination was useless, she would utilize her professional capabilities as a healer once more.
