Chapter 140 | Reincarnated as a Heretical Nun

This matter was somewhat related to Melanie.

Previously, Melanie had tracked down members of the Bloody Sickle and led a team to capture them. Currently, they were still being held in the church's interrogation room for questioning.

Naturally, the remaining transcendents of the Bloody Sickle could not just sit by and watch.

So, after a period of preparation, more people from the Bloody Sickle had arrived in Kaliron, planning to break into the Sunlight Cathedral's interrogation room to rescue their comrades.

When she heard the answer, Olivia was quite shocked, almost thinking she had misheard.

Breaking into the Sunlight Cathedral to rescue people?

Was that something the Bloody Sickle was actually capable of?

That was a cathedral. Even if it wasn't the headquarters, people from the headquarters could arrive as reinforcements at any time, couldn't they?

Was a place like that somewhere the Bloody Sickle could just barge into as they pleased?

Yet the Bloody Sickle had made such preparations and arrangements. What did that mean?

It meant they truly had a way.

As for what that way was, the magic mirror did not know.

Because the members of the Bloody Sickle who had come to Kaliron were not all together; they were scattered in various locations. Those with higher status were located in the Main District.

Baker Street only held a small fraction of them.

'Magic mirror, what if I report this group on Baker Street to the church?' Olivia asked another question.

It was a known fact to the church that she possessed the King's Domain. If she claimed that she had discovered the Bloody Sickle members on Baker Street while checking the class ranks of people in various areas using the domain's functions, it would undoubtedly be a very reasonable explanation.

In response, the magic mirror immediately provided a plan that could also link the situation to Fiona's death.

In short, she would use the church to strike at the Bloody Sickle, revealing the existence of the numerous corpses they held, and then notify various parts of Kaliron to have people claim the bodies.

In this way, the Rose Legion would naturally come to know that Fiona had died at the hands of the Bloody Sickle.

A perfect plan!

Olivia immediately used the King's Domain to teleport to the entrance of the Sunlight Cathedral and strode inside.

Soon, she met the administrative nun for the day, a chanting nun named Gena Deshu.

This nun was tall and slender, with pale purple wavy hair and grey eyes. Her eyelashes were long, and her expression appeared somewhat cold.

However, upon seeing Olivia's arrival, Gena's expression underwent a subtle change.

She knew Olivia.

Not long ago, in the transcendent battle against Dreamland Paradise, she had been one of the people who fought under Olivia's command. She was very aware of Olivia's incredible performance.

This was an existence that exceeded common sense—someone who was still a Transcender yet possessed an extremely terrifying forbidden artifact without being consumed by its backlash.

"Is there something I can help you with?"

Gena didn't even notice that when she spoke to Olivia, her tone carried a hint of politeness.

Olivia immediately explained her discovery: "I've detected the presence of transcendents from the Bloody Sickle. They are located on Baker Street."

Gena's expression instantly grew more serious.

The Bloody Sickle was a notoriously bloody heretical organization with a terrible reputation within the church. Transcendent incidents involving the Bloody Sickle were always treated with great importance.

"What is the specific situation?"

"It's like this..."

Olivia quickly explained the reason for her discovery. While it surprised Gena, it also made her a bit envious.

That was the King's Domain, a rule-grade forbidden artifact, and it was actually being controlled by a Transcender.

She didn't know how Olivia had mastered it; in any case, if she were the one holding it, she wouldn't even dare to keep it.

Regardless, after understanding the identity, location, and strength of the enemy, the Sunlight Cathedral responded quickly and dispatched the appropriate transcendents.

Olivia didn't need to participate in the next part; her task was complete.

She then returned home and went to sleep peacefully.

...

The next day.

After waking up, Olivia teleported as usual to the bedroom in the Elijah Chamber of Commerce on Jasmine Street in the Main District.

She needed to wait for Esme to come looking for her again; that was her primary mission.

She didn't know how Esme would explain things to the Rose Legion after she had revealed her path as an elemental mage, but it shouldn't have any negative impact on the plan.

By that very afternoon, Esme arrived.

This time, Esme wasn't alone. Gerard Clifford, the man who had hosted the ball previously, also came to the Elijah Chamber of Commerce and invited Olivia to his manor for afternoon tea.

Before long, they were gathered in the backyard of a manor.

Even though winter had already arrived, the rear of the manor was still filled with lush green vegetation, appearing exceptionally out of season.

In reality, this was due to the influence of transcendent power, maintaining a scene of spring blossoms year-round.

The scenery was beautiful, and the afternoon tea tasted excellent.

With a smile on her face, Olivia displayed the grace expected of a lady as she conversed with the two people before her.

However, with Count Gerard present, Esme barely spoke.

After exchanging some pleasantries, Gerard gave Esme a meaningful look. Esme stood up and left, leaving the two of them alone.

The breeze was warm, and the scent of flowers filled the air.

Gerard looked dignified and solemn. He asked Olivia, "I heard from Esme that you are an elemental mage, Miss Stella?"

"Yes, I had some fortuitous encounters in the Moriah Empire and embarked on this path. I quite enjoy the feeling of controlling the elements," Olivia said with a smile.

"It is clear you are an outstanding young lady, which makes me feel a desire to recruit talent. Esme specifically recommended you to me, hoping you would join us."

"Join what?"

Olivia raised an eyebrow, not expecting this count to be so straightforward. They had only just started, and he was already issuing an invitation.

Gerard said, "Join our transcendent organization, of course. In fact, both Esme and I belong to a vast transcendent organization."

"A transcendent organization?" Olivia said, feigning sudden realization. "I heard that the church recently introduced a new policy regarding transcendent organizations, leading to many of them popping up. Is it an organization like those, Lord Count?"
