Chapter 160 | Reincarnated as a Heretical Nun

Yes, a live broadcast.

For Olivia Melianne, this was a trivial feat; after all, she possessed a magic mirror.

She could have the magic mirror relay distant events to her at any time, which served as a unique form of live broadcast.

......

Kaliron, East District, harbor.

Leopold Friedrich had arrived here in secret.

The afternoon seaside was sunny and calm, with a gentle breeze carrying the briny scent of the ocean.

Looking into the distance, one could see the magnificent sea and the massive ships dotting the water, while seagulls soared through a sky that blended seamlessly with the ocean's hue.

As the third prince, Leopold was dressed in a plain white shirt and a black coat, topped with a bowler hat to look like an ordinary citizen.

He stood by the harbor, his gaze sweeping across the various vessels until it settled on a mid-sized ship.

According to his intelligence, the representatives of the Time Chamber of Commerce would arrive on such a vessel.

As he watched, several figures from the Time Chamber of Commerce began disembarking, carrying cargo crates.

Were those the forbidden artifacts inside?

No, they might be decoys; no one knew exactly where the merchants would hide the genuine forbidden artifacts.

Still, the thought of the many artifacts he was about to acquire made Leopold's heart race with excitement.

He withdrew his gaze and scanned the surroundings, noting that the harbor area was bustling with people coming and going.

In reality, very few of them were genuine travelers.

Most were actually members of the Rose Legion, positioned by him to wander the area as decoys pretending to be passersby.

After spotting several familiar faces and confirming everyone was in position, Leopold moved forward to greet the ship.

An old sailor stood by the freighter, directing those hauling the goods.

He appeared well-aged, his face etched with the marks of time, and he wore a sailor's uniform with eyes that remained narrowed most of the time.

When Leopold approached, the man's gaze fixed on him, but he said nothing, merely watching the prince.

"From the Time Chamber of Commerce?" Leopold asked in a low voice.

Hearing the question, the man cracked a smile.

"Our Highness is certainly dressed modestly. You didn't even bring an escort? You must truly trust our chamber."

Leopold smiled faintly. "I've never heard a single scandal regarding your organization, so naturally, I wish to show a degree of trust."

"Well said." The sailor chuckled and made an inviting gesture. "The items are still on board. Would you like to come and see?"

"Of course."

Leopold did not refuse.

They were right at the harbor; it wasn't as if the Time Chamber of Commerce could suddenly sail away and kidnap him, could they?

His wariness of the Time Chamber of Commerce was more of a primal instinct than a genuine belief that they were problematic.

As he had just stated, they had no scandals and were known for being fair and just in their dealings, making them worthy of trust.

Leopold stepped onto the ship while the hidden members of the Rose Legion at the harbor drifted closer to the water's edge as if by chance.

The vast deck was far from clean, covered in messy, muddy footprints.

The old sailor chuckled. "It rained at sea recently, and with everyone walking around, things got a bit dirty. I hope Your Highness doesn't mind."

Leopold naturally didn't care. "Please, just take me to see the forbidden artifacts."

"They are in the cabin. This way."

The old sailor led the way, describing the nature of the forbidden artifacts they had brought for this trade as they walked.

Leopold had already studied the list of items to be traded.

Hearing the sailor describe the familiar effects of those artifacts allowed his inner tension to relax.

However, in his relaxed state, Leopold failed to notice that as soon as he entered the cabin, the ship began to slowly pull away from the dock, heading toward the open sea.

He didn't even perceive the movement because a barrier ritual had manifested around the vessel, dampening all physical sensation of motion.

While Leopold was oblivious, the Rose Legion members at the harbor immediately realized something was wrong.

They couldn't understand why the ship was suddenly sailing out to sea.

Was there an accident?

In their urgency, they began rushing toward the pier.

......

Sally Molycity was a member of the Rose Legion.

This plain-looking woman did not stand out in a crowd.

She had been dining in a private room of a seaside restaurant, but upon seeing the commotion at the harbor from afar, she immediately dropped her utensils to investigate.

But just as she moved, a figure materialized behind her.

A blade was thrust mercilessly into the back of her neck, erupting from her throat.

It happened so fast that even though Sally was a sensate, she had no time to react before she collapsed limply.

The figure appearing behind her was, of course, Olivia Melianne.

After monitoring the progress through her magic mirror, she had come to eliminate a specific person.

Her excuse to Ivy earlier was that she had obtained the trade information from Sally, so Sally had to die.

Otherwise, if the Church learned from Sally that she had never leaked the information, it would cause Olivia significant trouble.

As for Sally's death, it wouldn't be suspicious because chaos was about to erupt at the harbor anyway.

Olivia picked up Sally's corpse and tossed it out the window before glancing back at the docks.

The Rose Legion members, seeing the ship drifting further away, had already charged forward and clashed with the purported merchants, sparking a chaotic brawl.

But in truth, those were not people from the Time Chamber of Commerce at all.

Once the Church learned from Olivia that the Time Chamber of Commerce was trading with the third prince, they had intercepted the freighter at sea, captured the merchants, and replaced them with their own agents to set this trap.
