Chapter 192 | Reincarnated as a Heretical Nun

Olivia arrived and, ignoring Freya, walked straight into the office and began writing a report.

A report for the Rose Legion.

“Count Gerard, greetings from Stella.

“Thanks to your kind favor, my Lord Count, I have been appointed as the person in charge of the Sunflower Mall. Naturally, I should be diligent and strive for the best results in this position.

“However, due to a shortage of funds and the fact that I do not have complete control over the Elijah Chamber of Commerce, I have been unable to alleviate the problems I am facing.

“Fortunately, I have made a major discovery recently that may change this situation.

“As far as I know, there is an ancient ruin beneath the Main District. It is a site that existed even before the establishment of the Holy Kelidos Empire.

“The ruin contains many precious treasures of great value. If they could be retrieved and sold, we would surely reap a significant fortune.

“I have already gone to observe this ruin myself, but due to my limited strength, I was unable to delve deep into it, as I was blocked by a barrier existing within.

“I hope to receive the organization’s assistance and for more people to travel to this ruin to secure the treasures within.

“I believe the treasures inside are exactly what the organization requires...”

Olivia wrote the letter at a measured pace, her expression calm as she began to set her trap.

There was indeed a ruin beneath the Main District; the magic mirror had told her so.

But there were no treasures to be found there as imagined, only all manner of dangers.

It was an extremely terrifying and dangerous place; even a mid-level class rank transcendent would have a very high probability of perishing if they entered.

This was the advice given by the magic mirror, allowing Olivia to deal with Thales through this ruin.

Of course, this was on the condition that Thales was willing to enter.

Olivia felt this would not be an issue; after all, if he did not come, it would be difficult for anyone else to enter the ruin, as the dangers within truly exceeded all expectations.

The ruin lay buried deep underground, hidden from the sun and intended to remain sealed forever, but all of that was about to change.

After finishing the letter, Olivia reviewed its contents once more, and upon confirming there were no issues, she used the setup at the Sunflower Chamber of Commerce to transmit the letter to Count Gerard.

Now, all she had to do was wait.

...

Not long after, in Gerard’s estate, Gerard received the letter transmitted by Olivia.

After opening and reading it, Gerard could not help but show a look of surprise.

He had not expected Olivia to make such a discovery at this time.

If it were true, it would indeed be a great benefit to the Rose Legion.

But the question was, was it true?

The current state of the Rose Legion was not good, and even Gerard was suspicious of everything. His true body was always hidden in the shadows, and it was only his spiritual clone that appeared before others, which showed how cautious he had been lately.

Even though he had always had no defenses against Olivia, considering her a trustworthy person, he still treated the contents of this letter with seriousness.

Even if there was no issue with Olivia, the source of the information might not be reliable.

After some thought, Gerard took out a sheet of letter paper, intending to write a reply.

But just as he unfolded the paper, he frowned again, feeling it was too much trouble.

Rather than writing back and waiting for another letter, it would be better to just go and ask in person.

In any case, he was not using his true body, but only a spiritual clone, so there was no need to worry about anything.

Thinking of this, Gerard rose and walked out.

At this moment, dawn was breaking over the Imperial Capital of Kaliron, and the brilliant sunlight spilled down from the horizon, appearing exceptionally bright.

Gerard boarded a carriage and headed straight for the Sunflower Mall.

Before long, he arrived at the desolate shopping center.

Gerard then walked into the mall’s office area, where he encountered Olivia as expected.

“Miss Stella, we meet again.” Seeing Olivia, Gerard walked straight out.

He did not beat around the bush and asked Olivia directly about the letter.

The moment Olivia heard him, she knew Gerard was still hesitant about the matter, which made her smile slightly.

It was normal for him to be hesitant, and she had already thought of how to address his concerns.

“This matter is, of course, true, because I have been to that ruin and seen some of the sights inside; I was simply unable to penetrate further.”

“Are you certain that the ruin contains what we want? Can the treasures inside be sold for enough money?” Gerard asked skeptically.

“Of course. If you still have doubts, Lord Count, why not come with me to take a look? You will naturally know whether it is true or false.”

“No, I do not doubt you; I am merely afraid you have been deceived.”

“Thank you for your concern, Lord Count, but I believe there is no problem with this matter.”

“Since that is the case, then you shall lead the way and let me see.”

Since it was only a spiritual clone, Gerard was not afraid of encountering any danger.

At this moment, he actually felt a great deal of anticipation; after all, this Stella before him was so insistent, and that certainty gave him quite a bit of confidence.

Without delay, the two set out together.

As they walked out, Freya approached, looking at them with curiosity.

“Freya, you have come at the right time. You should come with us to take a look as well.”

Seeing Freya, Gerard immediately called out.

“Yes, Count Gerard.”

Freya did not know what she was going to do, nor did she ask; in any case, as long as she followed, she would naturally find out what was to happen.

After leaving the chamber of commerce, Olivia and Freya boarded Gerard’s carriage.

Subsequently, under Olivia’s guidance, the carriage moved out at a measured pace.

Finally, the carriage arrived at an abandoned park.

The park before them had actually been quite popular just a few months ago.

But as more and more transcendents came to Kaliron during this period, a transcendent battle occurred in this park, reducing it to ruins.

Consequently, the park had been abandoned ever since.

Urban repairs were not the responsibility of the church but were left to the nobles. However, it was evident that the nobles had not repaired the park very well.

Looking at the scene before them, Olivia said to those beside her: “This is the entrance to the underground ruin. The person who discovered this place intended to report the news to the Security Bureau, but quite coincidentally, I happened to pass by, so I am the only one who knows the news now.”
