Chapter 191 | Reincarnated as a Heretical Nun

What a perfectly logical statement that was.

Hearing Thales put it that way, Olivia did not know how to respond for a moment.

After all, since the other party had even brought up the Third Prince, Leopold, refusing would make her seem rather unreasonable.

She knew very well that this was a situation she could not refuse.

Yet she also understood that this was a task she absolutely could not carry out.

Before her lay a problem that was nearly impossible to resolve.

This was a form of oppression, much like how Fiona had once oppressed her. Back then, her choice had been to directly eliminate Fiona, thereby overcoming that crisis.

But could she eliminate Thales now?

‘Magic mirror, magic mirror, if I exhaust all my means, can I kill Thales?’

【My master, you still need to grow, so it cannot be done.】

The magic mirror’s response made Olivia’s heart turn a few degrees colder.

Thales was, after all, a Skywalker, and one who had already set one foot into the realm of an Evolver; such an existence was simply not something she could deal with.

The things she had once done to Fiona could no longer be replicated on Thales.

‘Then what about trapping him? Can I make it so he can never meet anyone else?’

【Regrettably, my master, that is also something that cannot be done.】

‘Magic mirror, just give me the most correct answer. Faced with your current predicament, what is the best thing I should do?’

【Agree to the other party first, drag it out, and then resolve them with the help of external forces. The specific method is...】

The magic mirror quickly provided an answer, and line after line of content surfaced in Olivia’s mind.

As those details appeared, Olivia took a deep breath, composed her expression, and looked at Thales.

“I can, of course, sacrifice myself for the organization. That is what I should do as a member of the Rose Legion.”

Hearing Olivia say this, a smile finally appeared on Thales’s face.

He nodded slightly: “I knew I was right about you, Olivia. You are the most outstanding member of our organization; it is an honor for the organization to have someone as capable as you. Now, proceed as quickly as possible and ensure you complete my instructions.”

“I will do my best, but considering the reality of the situation, it may not happen quickly, as the place where the Third Prince is held is not somewhere I can just enter at will.”

“You are right, I was perhaps a bit too impatient. Regardless, give it your all; this will be the most brilliant moment of your life.”

“I understand.”

Since Olivia had agreed, Thales did not linger any longer. After offering a few more words of encouragement, he departed silently.

Following Thales’s departure, the crimson moonlight in the hall reflected off Olivia’s face, which shifted through various expressions.

What a headache of a problem this was.

But thankfully, she had something like the magic mirror. Without it, she would have been utterly desperate facing a situation like this.

Taking a deep breath, Olivia began to ponder the hints the magic mirror had just provided.

The core issue was to stall for time.

However, time could not be delayed indefinitely. If she did not act after too long, Thales would surely have opinions, or might even do something to her. Regardless, she had to accomplish something quickly.

She had to act fast to eliminate Thales.

After confirming that Thales would not return suddenly tonight, Olivia immediately used the teleportation function of the King's Domain to arrive at the entrance of the Sunlight Cathedral, then walked inside.

She went directly to find Ivy.

Even late at night, Ivy was still in one of the halls of the Sunlight Cathedral, praying before a statue, appearing exceptionally devout.

Upon sensing Olivia’s arrival, Ivy turned from the statue and looked over.

“Olivia, you performed very well in this recent internal exchange. The church is glad to have talent like you.”

She did not skimp on her praise, but after finishing, she noticed that Olivia’s expression was somewhat tense, which made her curious.

“Olivia, what is the matter? Has something happened?”

Hearing Ivy’s inquiry, Olivia realized her expression might be off. She took a deep breath to recover her composure.

It was not convenient to tell Ivy the truth about Thales’s situation exactly as it was; she had to embellish it a little.

After a moment of contemplation, Olivia said: “Actually, I am here to request the Recognition Mask.”

The Recognition Mask was a forbidden artifact that could make others recognize a specific identity for the user.

Regardless of her true identity, she could assume any identity she wished to present to others.

Olivia had previously obtained this forbidden artifact from Ivy, ensuring that when she contacted Thales in the guise of Stella, it would not be discovered that Stella was, in fact, Olivia.

However, this forbidden artifact could not be owned by her; it belonged to the church, and she could only apply to use it.

Because many clergy members applied to use the Recognition Mask, she had to return it to the church after finishing.

But now, she had to use this forbidden artifact again, because to complete the upcoming plan, she needed to approach Thales under the guise of Stella.

“Does the Rose Legion need you to contact that person you met before again?” Ivy asked casually.

“Yes, so just in case, I must obtain the Recognition Mask.” Olivia nodded.

“No problem, you are quite lucky. The Recognition Mask was just exchanged back not long ago; you may take it and use it.” Ivy did not think much of it.

The application process went without a hitch.

Before long, Olivia obtained the Recognition Mask and left the Sunlight Cathedral.

The next step was to approach Thales in the identity of Stella.

She did not go home, but instead used two consecutive teleports to arrive at the Sunflower Mall in the Main District.

Of course, before coming here, she had changed her nun’s habit into other attire.

The Sunflower Mall was not doing well; even during the day, there was not much foot traffic, and deep into the night, it was deathly silent, with the entire area shrouded in darkness.
