Chapter 126 | Reincarnated as a Prince in a Twisted Fairy Tale World

"Lola, what on earth are you saying?"

When she heard the words of the Queen of Midwinter, Selena was momentarily stunned.

The tall, curvaceous older sister, who looked like a forbidden fruit ripe for the picking, placed her hands in front of her stomach and gave Selena a meaningful look.

"I was once Snow White as well. This is something Faust helped me realize."

"Faust, you!"

The black-haired beauty's eyes widened instantly. She shot a look at Faust, and the man nodded, acknowledging Lola's words.

Fine! No wonder the two of you came to see me together back then. I was wondering how your relationship had become so close. I can't even imagine what happened inside this castle during the time I was away!

The princess felt a sense of betrayal and shame so profound she almost laughed out loud.

Then she clenched her delicate fists, her eyelids lowering as she looked at the Queen of Midwinter, who was dressed in a pair of one-piece black tights and an elegant gown.

"Lola... are you saying you want to steal my fiancé?"

Now that the curse had been lifted, they were the final generation of the split Midwinter princesses. No longer would the tragedy of kin killing kin occur, and thus the two could ignore the curse and truly become inseparable halves.

In fact, Selena had been thinking about making up for the lack of familial affection between her and Lola in the future, but at this moment, they couldn't be sisters.

When it came to Faust, there was no room for compromise.

Evidently, Lola felt the same. In the past, no matter what Selena wanted, the queen would indulge her without question. But now, she cast a cold gaze as if looking at a rival. She pressed a hand against the soft curves that seemed to mock the very laws of gravity and spoke.

"Steal? Why would you put it that way? Selena, you know that ever since you were old enough to understand things, I have been depressed every day because of the curse. I have never felt happy."

"But since meeting Faust, this boy... I feel that he is my dream lover. I'm not wrong... This is the boy I have been waiting for for decades."

Lola's silver eyes flickered with dissatisfaction as she looked at the unhappy Selena.

"Can't you just let me be happy for once? Do you even know what family duty is?"

"Ha? Are you trying to guilt-trip me?!"

Selena was truly laughing from anger, her shoulders trembling.

"Do you really think of yourself as my guardian? At the end of the day, we are equal halves. There is no such thing as one of us owing the other duty or respect as an elder. Besides... you were clearly the one who snatched Faust away back then. How do you have the nerve to say that!"

The princess hadn't forgotten how Faust had been taken. She hadn't been able to bring it up before because of the dragon's curse, but now she was going to settle that score.

Lola said calmly, "I do not feel ashamed of that. If I hadn't taken Faust away, how would I have known my own heart? How could I have felt such a... longing for happiness?"

As the two Midwinter princesses with nearly identical faces locked eyes, it seemed as if sparks were flying between them.

What happened to their fragile bond? They were turning against each other over a man?

Previously, they were willing to live and die for each other, but now they were treating each other like enemies just to snatch a man.

In such a tense atmosphere, Faust, one of the central parties, remained expressionless and wiped his thigh.

Oh, it's just sweat. I thought I'd wet myself.

That's right, it's just a bit of jealousy between two witches. Why would I be scared enough to wet myself?

...I'm scared enough to cry!

"I also know that neither of us will back down on this matter. That is why I am asking Faust to choose who he wants to enter into a marriage contract with. If it is a decision made by Faust, I believe everyone will be satisfied."

After a fierce confrontation, Lola withdrew her gaze and spoke.

"Fine. Then let Faust decide. Let me see what kind of choice my knight will make."

Selena placed a hand on the prince's shoulder, a smile that was dangerously fake appearing on her face.

"You won't disappoint me, right?"

【Hee hee, this is exactly what I wanted to see. Faust, how do you plan to handle this? If you don't resolve it well, the consequences will be unpredictable. Before this, there has never been a case of multiple witches falling for the same person.】

【In the worst-case scenario, restarting the world line isn't out of the question.】

Enough! Mephistopheles, stop adding to the pressure!

Seeing everyone's eyes fixed on him, waiting for an answer, Faust sighed inwardly and took a step forward.

What was meant to come has finally arrived.

Dragon curses and divine demons were nothing compared to this.

There was only one thing that truly made Faust tremble with fear.

A romantic battlefield!

A romantic battlefield between witches! It was a million times more terrifying than a demonic dragon descending upon the world!

However, in order to plot the great deed of defying fate with Mephistopheles, Faust had to encounter witches and utilize them—not just one or two, but as many as possible!

Winning the hearts of witches was a matter of destiny. If he didn't obsess over the bonus objectives, completing the witches' feast was a natural process.

But afterward, how to handle the relationships between the witches became the top priority.

Since he enjoyed the benefits of the witches' favor, he had to bear the risks that came with it.

After making the decision to walk this path, Faust had been thinking about how to respond, so he wasn't too panicked at this moment.

Faust took a long breath and looked at the black-haired beauty.

"Selena..."

"Hoh, so it really is me..."

The princess's lips curled up as she touched her jabot. Before she could make a victory declaration, she saw Faust turn to the Queen of Midwinter.

"Lola..."

The cool, mature older sister nodded slightly, indicating she would listen seriously to Faust's voice.

Finally, Faust looked at the pale blonde girl.

"Viviana..."

"Hmm?"

The knight girl let out a confused hum, seemingly not expecting to be involved.

After making eye contact with every girl in the room, Faust's gaze became resolute as he gave his answer.

"There is no choice. Only children make choices. As for me... I want them all!"

Meeting the astonished gazes of the women, Faust raised his head high.

"Whether it's Selena, Lola, or of course, Viviana—you are all the most important partners in my life. I cannot bear to lose any one of you. So, my answer is that I want all of you!"
