Chapter 77 | They Called Me the Dumbest Dragon, So I Paused Time and Built an Empire

As soon as she finished speaking, a red-haired girl stepped out of a spatial rift, appearing abruptly in the palace.

Jonavili turned around and met Furiel's cold gaze, but upon closer inspection, she realized Furiel wasn't looking at her, but at Fanni behind her.

Fanni's scalp tingled under Furiel's stare, and she subconsciously moved a bit closer to Jonavili.

"I... greetings, Lady Furiel."

Fanni's voice was timid, growing smaller and smaller toward the end.

Seeing this, anger flashed in Furiel's eyes as she roared in her heart.

'Why does every single one of them like being near her?! Isn't she a chromatic dragon?!'

Jonavili spoke up at this moment to break the tense atmosphere.

"Oh my, oh my~ Isn't this Furiel? It's been a long time. Could it be that you missed me so much that you couldn't wait to see me the moment you sensed I'd woken up? Hehehe~"

After speaking, the ahoge on Jonavili's head wiggled playfully.

A trace of panic at being seen through appeared in Furiel's eyes, but she quickly hid it.

"Heh, stop being so narcissistic."

As she spoke, Furiel walked up to Jonavili and looked down at her from above, her brow furrowed tight.

"Why are you so small?"

But in her heart, Furiel was already being melted by Jonavili's cute appearance.

'So cute~ I want to squish her so bad, I want to bully her just a little bit!'

By now, Furiel had also reached the young adult stage; in her shapeshifted form, her height had reached 1.65 meters, while Jonavili had barely changed, still standing at around 1.5 meters.

Unexpectedly poked in a sore spot, Jonavili's expression stiffened, and her gaze turned cold.

"What do you mean by that?"

Furiel crossed her arms and said coldly.

"Exactly what I said."

She had already decided that after defeating Jonavili later, she would definitely bully her properly.

"Ha? You're quite arrogant. Have you forgotten who was pinned under me decades ago?

Looking at you today, do you want to experience that again?"

As she spoke, Jonavili actually placed her hands on her hips subconsciously, and the white ahoge on her head swayed again.

Seeing this extremely adorable scene, Furiel felt like her heart was about to melt, but on the surface, she couldn't stop the corners of her mouth from curling up slightly.

At the same time, she raised her left hand, holding it mid-air.

"Want to try?"

Seeing Furiel like this, Jonavili's ahoge trembled from pure anger.

'She's laughing! Heh, she's definitely looking down on me!!'

"You jerk... don't you dare look down on a Dragon!"

With that, Jonavili raised her right hand and interlocked her fingers with Furiel's, giving a cold smile.

"Hehe, are you ready? You arrogant brat."

Furiel simply couldn't suppress the smile on her face no matter how hard she tried.

'She's smiling, she's smiling at me! And, we're even holding hands~ Her hand is so small and soft~'

With a light cough, Furiel nodded.

"Come at me."

As soon as the words left her mouth, the two dragons exerted their strength simultaneously. A terrifying shockwave swept out, and their originally fair arms bulged with sturdy muscles.

Furiel was even more exaggerated; her explosive muscles directly tore through her sleeves.

'Holy crap! What the hell is this? A muscle girl? A King Kong barbie? You've got to be kidding me!'

Clearly, these explosive muscles caught Jonavili off guard, and for a moment, her palm was pressed down several inches.

"What's wrong? Is this all you've got? You white idiot."

The provocative tone left Jonavili fuming, and the ahoge on her head stood straight up like an exclamation mark.

The next second, Jonavili suddenly exerted her strength and pushed back.

"Who are you looking down on? You egomaniac."

"Heh~ interesting. Then how about trying this move!"

Before she even finished, a terrifying draconic majesty radiated from Furiel's body; the power of the Diamond 7th Circle was immensely intimidating.

Jonavili discovered that her stamina was being consumed rapidly.

This was the special effect inherent in Furiel's draconic majesty: rapidly increasing stamina consumption.

Usually, this kind of draconic majesty was very special and rare, with an incredibly low probability of awakening. However, the probability for variant dragons was slightly higher, just as the probability of a demi-human awakening a magic eye was higher than other races.

Jonavili gave a disdainful smile.

"Don't think you're the only one who has it."

With that, Jonavili also released her draconic majesty, which collided with Furiel's. The ground developed spider-web-like cracks, unable to withstand these two powerful forces.

Furiel discovered that under Jonavili's draconic majesty, she felt cold, and even her movements became stiff and sluggish.

However, the strength of the two draconic majesties was roughly equal, and they soon canceled each other out.

...

In a garden, a girl in a white dress sat quietly on a garden swing chair. A sudden breeze tossed her silver hair, creating a scene as peaceful and beautiful as a painting.

A pair of silver pupils stared blankly at the Sam River in the distance, the nostalgia in her eyes making one want to understand her past.

Beside her stood a middle-aged knight, quietly guarding her safety.

Rustle—

At the sound of rustling, Saisa didn't even turn her head.

"Why are you here again?"

The bushes in a corner of the garden suddenly stiffened. A moment later, a black-haired boy stood up, scratching his head sheepishly.

"Hehe~ I..."

Saisa turned her head, her eyes revealing a bit of helplessness.

After more than a decade of getting along, although this black dragon was a bit wicked, he was also truly stupid. Fortunately, he seemed different from other black dragons.

Though he was murderous by nature and cruelly fond of tormenting others, for some reason, he only liked to talk big and had never actually killed anyone in front of her.

"Sigh~ Gris, you forgot again. Dragons are very sensitive to things like being watched."

"Uh, I'll pay attention next time, haha~"

Gris said as he walked toward her, meeting Saisa's gaze.

Saisa thought for a moment and spoke again.

"Gris, don't keep spying on me. To use your words... um, I don't like being... ogled?"

Gris's expression stiffened, then he waved his hand and stood before Saisa.

"How can a dragon's business be called ogling? It should be called observation, you know."

As he spoke, regardless of whether Saisa was willing, Gris sat down beside her. He subconsciously wanted to cross his legs but forced himself to resist the urge.

This scene amused Saisa slightly, and Gris looked over at Speuler nearby.

Speuler immediately understood and bowed to the two dragons.

"Young lady, My Lord, I shall take my leave first."

Speuler turned and left. Saisa withdrew her gaze and looked at Gris.

"May I ask when I can be allowed to go back?"

Saisa had been here for over a decade now; she had even undergone her hibernation to break through into the young adult stage within White Crystal City.
